Another 1-1 outing for us last week. We nailed our Rams pick as they covered in a 21-14 victory over the New Orleans Saints. However, the Cincinnati Bengals let us down in a big way. Things started great as the Bengals got a pick-six on the first series of the game, but they couldn’t capitalize and lost a shootout with the Steelers. That Cincinnati defense? Not great, Bob.
Admittedly, there isn’t much I like on this week’s card, but there are a few games I’m eying. Still, we’re going to do our best to get back in the win column this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5) vs. Cleveland Browns
Pittsburgh is fresh off that high-scoring victory over the Bengals, while the Browns lost on Monday Night Football to the Denver Broncos. We got the full Jameis Winston experience in that game.

Cleveland now travels back across the country on short rest to face its division foes for the second time in three weeks. This is a tough spot for the Browns as Pittsburgh is clearly the better team and will be looking for revenge following the Browns' upset victory in Cleveland two weeks ago.
It’s hard-pressed to see this Cleveland team sweeping the Steelers. A victory here would put Pittsburgh two games ahead of the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North race. Expect Pittsburgh’s defense to step up and guide the team to a resounding victory over its division rival.
Pick: Steelers -6.5 (-110) DraftKings Sportsbook
Risk 1.1 Units to Win 1 Unit
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Both these teams are coming off victories in less than impressive fashion in Week 13. Kansas City has found ways to win close games, and Los Angeles has picked up some hard-fought victories of its own in the last few weeks. One key injury to watch in this game is that of Chargers rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey, as he is nursing multiple injuries.
No McConkey would be less than ideal, and it would drastically affect the Chargers offense. But the Chiefs are barely winning these close games the last few weeks and look more vulnerable than ever. It feels like it’s going to catch up to them one of these weeks. Fun fact -- Los Angeles ranks higher than Kansas City in both total team and defensive DVOA, per FTN Fantasy, so the Chargers are live dogs in this matchup.
You never really want to get in front of the Patrick Mahomes train, but this could be a good spot. Los Angeles lost a tight contest to Kansas City back in Week 4. I’ll take a stab that it scores the road upset in a low-scoring defensive game.
Pick: Chargers Moneyline (+172)
Risk: .1 Units to Win .172 Units
