Hello from Montreal, where I have managed to find myself this week. The international team will be looking to change the course of history with an unlikely victory against the USA team.

With matches every day, I will be updating this article with matchup angles each day, so stay tuned as the week goes on.

For those of you who are new to the article, Breaking $100 is a comprehensive PGA betting guide on how to squeeze every cent out of your $100. We will be breaking $100 into a betting card of outrights, first-round leaders, placings, and a "farewell fiver," all in an attempt to turn a structured betting strategy into a profitable and entertaining Sunday sweat. $100 is easily divided or multiplied, so please only bet amounts that you can afford to lose. Day 1 Matchups (DK)

Pendrith / Bezuidenhout (-108 $10.80) over Clark / Bradley

Before the matchups were revealed there was a slim chance I grabbed a Bezuidenhout / Pendrith pairing without plus money odds (-108), but here we are picking on Clark and Bradley who have been far less reliable in the run up to this event. Both Bezuidenhout and Pendrith have been consistently finding themselves inside the top-25 this year, and with the putting upside they possess, these two internationals could putt their opponents into a pretzel on Day 1.

Scheffler / Henley (-142 $14.20) over Kim / Im

We are getting -142 odds on a team with the best and fifth-best strokes gained metrics of the 24 golfers playing this week. Russell Henley has been incredible the last little while and is now paired up with the World No. 1 and defending Masters Champ. Tom Kim going up against Scottie Scheffler reminds me of a little brother swinging his fists at his older brother who has him just out of range with his hand on his head, giving him that belief he can land a punch, but ultimately always coming up tantalizingly short.

Matsuyama / Conners (-110 $11) vs Burns / Cantlay

This is the best international team on paper, with Matsuyama and Conners gaining the fourth and eighth most strokes in this field. Cantlay and Buns are the sixth and seventh best golfers in the field making this a very close matchup. I will not be betting this matchup as this line is very fair, but since we are picking a side for all five, we are going to take the home team in the anchor match, who likely need to win this match to avoid going down 4-1.

Top American Wild Card (+500 $5) Bet365

Henley gets paired up with the World No.1 and now has a theoretical chance to earn 5 points for USA. But we are only matching him up against the other captain's picks (Homa, Harman, Burns, Bradley, Finau). If him and Scottie dispatch Tom Kim and Sungjae Im in Day 1, we could see Henley position himself really nicely to win this bet. By the way, Russell is the fifth best golfer from a strokes gained perspective, yet he is being priced like somebody who is one of the worst golfers in the field.

USA 1-3 Strokes (+375 $10) Bet365

The odds of the first set of matchups reflect that things should be relatively close, but with the Americans having four of the five best golfers in the event, I think they just get by, winning this again by 1-3 strokes. This is an u
