MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Griffin Canning OVER 4.5K (-136, FD) vs. COL
I'll take a look at Griffin Canning's strikeout prop to start things off tonight. Canning has been on a relative strikeout heater of late, striking out 5+ in four of his last five, while averaging six strikeouts per game in that span. While the game being at Coors may give him some trouble, it's worth noting that the Rockies have been really struggling to put the ball in play lately, bringing in a 31.4% strikeout rate over the last week. Caning projects to a 26.95% strikeout rate and 6.33 projected strikeouts in this one.
Jose Berrios UNDER 2.5 Earned Runs (-150, DK) vs. OAK
I'll take a look at the under on Jose Berrios's earned runs prop next. Berrios will take on the A's who despite being a bit more pesky of late, still are among if not the worst team in the league. Berrios gave up five earnies in his last outing against Miami but has been good prior to that, going on a streak of five straight starts without allowing 3+ runs, while averaging just 0.8 earned runs allowed per start in that span. He brings in a projected 4.39 SIERA and 1.98 earned runs allowed today against an Oakland lineup that projects to a measly .279 wOBA today.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Isaac Paredes OVER 0.5 Hits/TB (-170, DK) vs. KC
As far as hitters go, I'll take a look at Isaac Paredes's total bases prop to start. Paredes takes on likely the worst starting pitcher in baseball today, as it'll be Jordan Lyles (0-11, 6.72 ERA) taking the ball for the Royals. Lyles brings in a projected 6.62 SIERA, .582 wOBA against right-handed pitching over the last week. Paredes projects to a .404 wOBA and 2.21 total bases in this matchup, giving us great value here, I wouldn't hate buying this up to 1.5, either.
Ronald Acuna OVER 1.5 TB (-135 DK) vs. CIN
I'll wrap things up with Ronald Acuna's total bases prop. This Braves/Reds series started off with a bang, as expected, and there should be runs-o'-plenty once again today as it'll be Jared Shuster and Graham Ashcraft on the mound. Ashcraft (3-5, 6.78 ERA) was really bad prior to his injury stint and comes into this one with a projected 5.01 SIERA. Acuna projects to a .382 wOBA and exactly two total bases today against the righty.
