MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Julio Urias OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-155 DraftKings Sportsbook)
The odds are a bit steep on this one, but Milwaukee has been struggling quite a bit vs. left-handers recently. Over the previous two weeks, the Brewers have posted a 34.1% K rate vs. lefties, which is ranked second-worst in the league. They have also posted just a 68 wRC+ mark over that same span, which is ranked sixth-worst in the league. Urias missed this prop by one strikeout in his previous start against Milwaukee, but he should be able to get a bit deeper in this one.
Max Scherzer OVER 6.5 strikeouts (-160 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This may be a solid prop to pair with Urias as the odds for both are a bit steep on their own. Max has gone over 6.5 strikeouts in two of his previous three starts and six of his previous nine. He has a solid matchup against the Yankees in this one as they have been struggling mightily against right-handers by posting a 28.7% (second-worst) K rate over the previous two weeks. They have also posted just a 51 wRC+ mark and a 6.3% walk rate over that same span, both of which fall into the abysmal territory.
Sonny Gray OVER 5.5 strikeouts (-110 DraftKings Sportsbook)
This is a prop with a bit more friendly betting odds. Gray is coming off a 10-strikeout performance against the Royals and has sniffed around this total in each of his previous three starts before that. He gets a matchup against the Rangers, who are posting a K rate of 24,3% against right-handers over the previous two weeks, which ranks eighth-worst in the league.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Paul Goldschmidt OVER 1.5 total bases (+100 DraftKings Sportsbook)
We are going to keep at this prop until the well runs dry. Goldy has hit this prop in five of his previous six games and has a solid matchup against Drew Smyly tonight. Smyly has posted a 1.35 WHIP and allowed nine bombs and 14 doubles to right-handed hitters this season. Meanwhile, Goldy has posted a ridiculous 1.375 OPS with nine home runs and 11 doubles against left-handed pitching.
