I am back again today for more player props after going 1-2 in yesterday's article. Today's slate, in one word, is lousy. Four games today, and not much to like. Because of that, there is only one pitching prop that I like. As always, we will have one strikeout prop today and my hit parlay.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Shohei Ohtani OVER 7.5 strikeouts (-110 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Oh, how sweet that Ohtani gets the rock the day after the Angels decide they will be buyers. They are motivated to do everything possible to make the playoffs and keep Ohtani this offseason. I will get into the numbers in the next paragraph, but this is a gut play at the end of the day. I believe Ohtani will have extra motivation tonight because of this.
Ohtani enters today's start with a 3.55 SIERA, 32.2% K%, and a 13.1% SwStr%. Over his last five starts, Ohtani has achieved eight strikeouts or more three times. Over that frame, Ohtani has a 3.31 SIERA, 33.6% K%, and a 13.6% SwStr%. The Tigers own a 24.3% K% against right-hand pitching this season, suitable for the top five in baseball. Over the last month, they have a 25.0% K%. I love this spot for Ohtani. Add in the extra motivation, and this is a slam dunk.

MLB Hitting Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
SGP Christopher Morel + Cody Bellinger to record a hit (-105 DraftKings SportsBook)
Throughout the season, I provided you with some hit parlays. Honestly, it's been a blast betting and has been very profitable. I will make this a constant theme in my articles for the rest of the season. I like giving you guys different looks on how to bet instead of writing up the everyday props like always. You can always take either of the two guys below for their total bases prop to get a better line.
Miles Mikolas will get the ball for the Cardinals against the Cubs. Mikolas has a .279 BAA on the season. Mikolas has allowed a .279 BAA against lefties this season and a .279 BAA against righties. We will focus on attacking the best two bats regarding average and recent trends to get a hit since his splits are the same.
Christopher Morel is the best right-handed bat in this lineup against right-hand pitching. He has a .297 AVG against the split this season. Morel has 11 hits over his last ten games. Cody Bellinger is the next-best bat against righties in this lineup. He is hitting .295 against right-hand pitching this season. Bellinger is scorching hot and has 21 hits over his last 15 games.
