Yesterday I had my guy Thunder Dan fill in for me for my player props article, and he crushed it! He nailed all three of the pitcher props. I have big shoes to fill today, so let's see if we can keep the balling rolling over at RotoBaller. We have limited games again on a Thursday, with only seven games on the docket.

I'll provide my favorite prop bets for MLB games on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in this article. I will continue to hone in on K props first, as they are the most lucrative, and we will follow that with some total base props. Let's look at some of the best MLB player props worth wagering on for today's games without further ado! Follow me on Twitter @CaseyW22 for more free betting and DFS advice.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Pablo Lopez OVER 4.5 strikeouts (-180 DraftKings Sportsbook)
First, I want to start by saying I don't love the -180. FanDuel has a line of over 5.5 strikeouts for +126 if you want to take that. The -180 is also a perfect parlay piece. I am betting it outright and including it in a parlay. You can also ladder it over at FanDuel or wait until the line to get to 5.5 on DraftKings, which it inevitably will.
Pablo Lopez enters today's start with a 30.0% K and a 14.7% SwStr. He has five or more strikeouts in ten of his eleven starts this season. The only start he doesn't, he struck out four in his shortest outing of the season against the Dodgers. Lopez has a 3.41 SIERA and a 7.4% BB. He is averaging 94 pitches a start. He will have every opportunity to pitch deep into this game and rack off five strikeouts.
The Guardians are last in baseball with a 78 wRC+. They are the second worst with a .284 wOBA and a .346 SLG. They have struggled against right-hand pitching this season. They own a 19.6% K against right-hand pitching, the fourth lowest in baseball. Usually, I wouldn't say I like attacking this team with K props, but the line here at 4.5 is entirely too low for the stuff Pablo Lopez possesses.
Kevin Gausman to record a win (+105 DraftKings Sportsbook)
Because it is such a small slate, we will get slightly different with our last pitcher prop. The Brewers will battle Gausman in the last game of their series in Toronto. The Blue Jays enter this game with a 29-27 record. The Brewers have a 29-26 record.
Gausman has been outstanding this year with a 3-3 record, 2.99 SIERA, 31.9% K, and a 13.4% SwStr. He has averaged six innings and 99 pitches a game. He is pitching deep. Freddy Peralta has struggled over his last three starts allowing an average of six runs a start. I love Gausman's chancing of pitching past five innings here and having the lead when he departs. It will be on the bullpen whether he can record a win.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
SGP Jeff McNeil + Brandon Nimmo to record a hit (-140 DraftKings SportsBook)
Over the last few days, I've been hitting on some hits parlays. Honestly, it's been a blast betting and very profitable. So I'm going to write it up here in today's article. I like giving you guys different looks on how to bet instead of writing up the normal props like always. You can always take either of the two guys below for their total bases prop to get a better line.
The Mets will square off against Taijuan Walker here this afternoon. Walker has allowed a .341 wOBA, .220 ISO, and a 42.6% hard-hit rate against lefties this season. Over his last 30 days, he has a .377 wOBA, .259 ISO, and a 48.9% hard hit. Nimmo has a .345 wOBA against righties this season and is hitting .294. He has hits in nine of his last 12 games. McNeil has a .313 wOBA and a .288 AVG. He has hits in 11 of his previous 15 games. They both exploit Walker's weakness against lefties, and I like both of their chances of getting a hit here today.
