It's Easter Sunday and today is packed with baseball with all 30 teams in action! We don't have too many aces on the mound today, but we have plenty of middle-of-the-rotation arms in good spots that we can target with strikeout props and plenty of bad pitchers that we can target with hitters for some offensive props, too! Hopefully, you caught my picks here yesterday as we went 4 for 5 with Will Smith being the only miss as he was limited to just a single.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Drew Rasumussen OVER 5.5K (-110 DK) vs. OAK
After Jeffrey Springs came through for us with 7 strikeouts yesterday, you better believe we are going back to his teammate Rasmussen in the same spot today. We only need six from Drew today, who looked darn impressive against Washington in his debut with seven strikeouts last week.

Look at that high cheese! Rasmussen's velocity is up and he had excellent control of his full arsenal of pitches as well. Both he and Springs look like they're ready to take the leap into stardom and are the latest success stories in Tampa as the Rays continue to figure out how to maximize their pitchers' potential. Here's one more look at some filthy offspeed stuff from Rasmussen.

Seth Lugo OVER 4.5K (-145 DK) vs. ATL
Lugo is starting again for the first time in a few years and had an impressive debut for his new team. He went seven full innings against Colorado and struck out seven without walking anyone.
He looked great, he's stretched out, and he just needs five strikeouts here against Atlanta, which is not usually a team I would target for strikeouts, but we also might get a wonky Sunday lineup with a few regulars getting rested, too.
We have to be aggressive on some of these 4.5k props early in the year, you won't get them for good pitchers for long and I think Lugo is likely going to be a good but not a great, starting pitcher this year for the Padres.
Michael Kopech UNDER 5.5 (+100 DK) vs. PIT
You won't see me on a lot of unders early in the season as pitchers tend to be ahead of hitters who are often trying to still get their timing right. But I hit this same bet last week and I think Kopech is getting too much respect in this spot as he labored through five innings against San Francisco in his first start and got stuck on five strikeouts before finally getting yanked after giving up FOUR home runs in one inning.
The Giants were a good strikeout matchup for him, but the Pirates are not nearly as good based on this year's data so far. Last year we attacked Pittsburgh daily with strikeout pitchers, but my battling Buccos have only a 22% K rate to RHP (which is right around the league average).
Furthermore, the Pirates' offense has been considerably better as they have average or slightly above-average offensive stats across the board. Kopech, who struck out only 22% of hitters last season, throws a lot of pitches and goes deep into counts often, so my logic is that if he is limited to around five innings again today, he might not get to that sixth strikeout that he needs.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Bryan Reynolds over 1.5 TB (+130 DK) vs. CHW
Reynolds is absolutely on fire so I'm not sure why we are getting such a generous number here. He has five HR, two doubles, and a triple on the season as he's off to a .424 batting average.
I mentioned how little I think of Kopech earlier and how he was throwing batting practice to the Giants last week, allowing a total of five HR in that game. With Reynolds locked in at the plate, I love his chances of going deep or at least finding a gap and getting us an extra-base hit.
Adam Duvall over 1.5 TB (+130) vs. DET
If Reynolds isn't the hottest hitter and best story in baseball through a week and a half then Duvall most certainly is. The veteran outfielder is hitting .483 with four HR and feasted on the Tigers yesterday with two doubles and his fourth dinger.
He'll face lefty Matthew Boyd today, who throws a lot of sliders which just happens to be a pitch that he has crushed off lefties in his career. He's 4-7 with four doubles against lefties this season and even if Boyd shuts him down, he can still get there for us with one swing of the bat against the Tigers' bullpen.
Mike Trout over 1.5 TB (+105) vs. TOR
Mike Trout is plus odds for a double or better today against a lefty? Yes, please, lock that in right away and don't look back.
Kikuchi is on the mound for Toronto and he's a HR-prone pitcher who really struggled with hard contact (over 50%) last season and got smacked around by righties to the tune of a .277 ISO. Trout has two home runs and one double against him in 18 plate appearances, good for a .429 average.
