MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Mike Clevinger under 4.5 strikeouts (-108, FanDuel sportsbook)
The Chicago White Sox and Washington Nationals begin a series this evening in D.C. as it's right-hander Mike Clevinger getting the ball for the road side.
Clevinger has had a decent season as he sports a 3.61 ERA across 21 starts on the campaign but, unfortunately, that's about where the positivity concludes. The 32-year-old also sports a 4.15 FIP, 4.78 SIERA, and a mediocre 21.1% K% on the season, the latter of which is well below his 25.1% career mark.
There's also the fact that the Nationals simply do not strike out very often. In fact, only the Cleveland Guardians sport a superior strikeout rate to the Nats' 19.3% K% against right-handed pitching on the season. They may not be a productive offense but they don't whiff a whole lot.
Add in what appears to be regression on the horizon and it's tough to imagine Clevinger punching out at least five Nationals in this one tonight.
Bryan Woo over 5.5 strikeouts (-106, FanDuel sportsbook)
The Seattle Mariners remain desperate for wins as they head to Oakland for some must-win games against the lowly A's to begin the week.
It's up to rookie Bryan Woo this evening as the right-hander should be able to tame a weak A's offense. Oakland is not only one of the very worst offenses in baseball but their 25.4% K% against right-handed pitching on the season sits 28th in the league, only beating out these Mariners and the Minnesota Twins in that department.
As for Woo, the 23-year-old has turned in a solid 24.1% K% on the season. He has excellent strikeout numbers in the minors as he also hurled a hefty 34.3% K% across nine starts at the Double-A level this season.
Look for Woo to carve up this A's offense in a bid to push his club closer to the postseason.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Brandon Marsh 2+ total bases (+170, FanDuel sportsbook)
It's an NL East tilt tonight in Atlanta as the Phillies and Braves get together with right-hander Kyle Wright getting the ball for the home side.
It's been a tough go for Wright in his six starts on the season as he sports a 7.48 ERA in that time. His 4.41 FIP and 4.53 SIERA certainly suggest that he should see improved results moving forward but he hasn't been able to keep runs off the board after returning from injury in the 2023 campaign.
It's been a big season for the Marsh. The lefty-swinging outfielder has hit .285 with 10 homers, 23 doubles, and six triples across his 437 plate appearances on the campaign, production that has helped lead him to a 125 wRC+ that sits 25% above the league average. Additionally, he has hit .303 with an .877 OPS and .376 wOBA off of right-handed pitching along with an .855 OPS against right-handed pitching on the road.
We're getting some explosive odds for the Marsh to continue to handle right-handed pitching with authority this evening.
Ty France 2+ total bases (+125, FanDuel sportsbook)
We're back to the Mariners and A's with a fantastic-looking hitter prop with the Mariners' Ty France up against A's southpaw JP Sears.
Sears hasn't been able to keep runs off the board consistently this season with a 4.45 ERA across 29 starts while his 5.13 FIP and 4.65 SIERA suggest he'll regress some moving forward. He also owns a 4.76 ERA across his 70 innings of work at home on the season while his 5.49 FIP and 5.12 xFIP indeed suggest has struggled at the O.Co Coliseum this season.
While Sears has actually been better against right-handed hitters, France has clobbered left-handed pitching. He enters this one hitting .320 with an .818 OPS and .356 wOBA against lefties on the campaign. His 132 wRC+ versus opposite-handed pitching is 32% above the league average. France's career-long production off lefties ranks 22% above the league average, as per his 122 wRC+.
He's only 1-for-11 in his career against Sears but that lone hit ended up leaving the yard. We're getting excellent value on a lefty masher to collect at least two total bases against a weak left-hander tonight in Oakland.
