MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Kenta Maeda to record a win (+240, DraftKings sportsbook)
Kenta Maeda will take the ball tonight for the Minnesota Twins against the Seattle Mariners and here's a guy who should be in for some serious positive regression moving forward.
The 35-year-old has been limited to just nine starts this season due to injury and has limped to a 5.10 ERA in that time. However, the right-hander also sports a 3.31 FIP and 3.61 SIERA on the campaign. This is a pitcher with a career 3.96 ERA in the major leagues so it's likely we see his ERA dip moving forward, even if he posted a subpar 4.66 mark across 21 starts last season.
One thing to note is that Maeda's elevated ERA is largely skewed given he allowed 10 earned runs in an April 26 start against the Yankees but has allowed just eight earned runs over his last five outings while going at least five innings in four of those five starts.
Let's look for the veteran to notch his third win of the season at fantastic value tonight.
Kenta Maeda over 5.5 strikeouts (-145, DraftKings sportsbook)
Apparently, it's Kenta Maeda day today here at RotoBaller as he should cruise past 5.5 punchouts in this one tonight.
He should be able to get deep enough to not only earn the win in this one but to strike out at least six Mariners bats. Maeda has gone over 5.5 strikeouts in each of his last three starts and four of his last five. He has punched out nine batters in two of his last three outings and sports a healthy 28.6% K% on the campaign.
As for the Mariners, Their 26% K% on the season sits 29th across Major League Baseball while their 25.9% clip against righties also sits 29th in baseball.
Everything here is pointing to a high strikeout total for the veteran right in this one tonight.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Amed Rosario over 1.5 total bases (-120, DraftKings sportsbook)
Amed Rosario is one of the more predictable bats in baseball.
He's going to give you a nice combination of power and speed each and every season. However, he's at his best against left-handed pitching which is what he will face tonight against the Royals' Ryan Yarbrough.
Yarbrough has struggled to a 5.21 ERA on the season while his 4.63 FIP and 5.02 SIERA don't exactly point toward much poor luck in that figure. He can be effective at times with a funky left-handed delivery but he hasn't produced an ERA below 4.50 in each of his last three seasons.
For his career, Rosario sports a .299 batting average and .806 OPS against left-handed pitching. His 120 wRC+ against lefties throughout his career is 20% above the league average. He should also hit out of the two-hole in this one, likely ensuring him of at least four at-bats on the evening, but likely more against a shaky Royals pitching staff.
Add it up and Rosario should be able to collect at least a pair of total bases in this one tonight.
Jake Fraley over 1.5 total bases (+135, DraftKings sportsbook)
Give me some Jake Fraley against a weak right-handed pitcher all day long.
Brewers righty Colin Rea enters this contest sporting a 4.64 ERA on the season while his 4.80 FIP on the campaign is right in line with his 4.81 career-long ERA. His 4.56 SIERA on the season isn't quite as poor but is nothing to write home about, either.
As for Fraley, he has tattooed right-handed pitching for a .290 batting average alongside a .903 OPS and .237 isolated power this season. His 137 wRC+ on the campaign against righties sits a hefty 37% above the league average.
None of this is exactly new for the lefty-swinging outfielder as Fraley owns a career .836 OPS and .215 ISO against righties. His 126 wRC+ off righties for his career is 26% superior to the league average.
The value on this one is absurd, so be sure to grab Fraley here at quality plus-money odds.
