MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Joe Ryan over 6.5 strikeouts (-110, DraftKings sportsbook)
Few pitchers on tonight's schedule have a better matchup than the Twins' Joe Ryan as he takes on the lowly Kansas City Royals at home.
The Royals enter this one ranked 25th with a 24.4% K% against right-handed pitching this season but it gets better from there. Kansas City also sits 28th with a 7% BB% against righties and dead last with a 79 wRC+ against them, both of which should allow Ryan to get deep enough into this game to get over the total.
For his part, Ryan has had a nice season, tossing a 3.44 ERA alongside a 3.39 FIP and 3.45 SIERA across 16 starts. The right-hander has punched out a solid 27.3% of the batters he has faced this season while walking just 3.9% of them. Again, the lack of walks should keep his pitch count down while getting him deep into this ball game.
Additionally, Ryan has been flat-out dominant at Target Field where he owns a 2.70 ERA, 28.5% K%, and 25.7% K-BB%, all of which stand notably above his work on the road.
Add it up and Ryan shouldn't have much issue racking up at least seven strikeouts tonight.
Logan Webb over 5.5 strikeouts (-140, DraftKings sportsbook)
Logan Webb is another nice option to get over his strikeout total for many of the same reasons mentioned above for Ryan.
Webb actually sports very similar ERA figures and indicators as Ryan with a nearly identical 3.43 ERA on the season along with a 3.55 FIP and 3.24 SIERA. The right-hander has punched out 24% of the hitters he has faced while limiting walks to just a 4.8% clip.
Also like Ryan, Webb has been far better at home than he has been on the road this season. The righty has turned in an outstanding 2.31 ERA at home this season versus a 4.24 mark on the road. His 25.4% K% and 20.3% K-BB% at home are superior to his work on the road while he has gone over the 5.5 strikeout total in six of his seven starts at home this season.
As for the opposition, the Mariners own the second-highest strikeout rate in baseball versus righties at 25.6%. They do walk at a solid 9.3% clip against righties but Webb's excellent control should mitigate that figure.
Let's look for the Giants ace to get over the total once again at home tonight.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Adley Rutschman over 1.5 total bases (+125, DraftKings sportsbook)
Sign me up for a powerful left-handed hitter to get over the total at Yankee Stadium against a right-handed pitcher at quality plus-money odds.
Technically, Rutschman is a switch-hitter and has fared better against left-handed pitching this season but he certainly has the pop to take advantage of the short porch in right field in this venue. For the season, the 25-year-old is hitting .268 with 11 home runs and a .789 OPS across 79 games. Rutschman owns a healthy .345 wOBA but also a .364 xwOBA that solidifies his solid work at the plate to this point.
We're targeting a pitcher in Domingo German who tossed a perfect game his last time out, the 24th in big-league history. The outing lowered his ERA to 4.54 on the season but he also sports a 4.87 FIP and a 1.66 HR/9 which are right in line with his 4.53 FIP and 1.62 HR/9 for his career. He also sports a 2.53 HR/9 at home versus left-handed hitters this season.
Let's look for the young backstop to cruise past 1.5 total bases in this one tonight.
Gunnar Henderson over 1.5 total bases (+125, DraftKings sportsbook)
Same deal here with Gunnar Henderson, the lefty-swinging youngster who has raked right-handed pitching this season.
For the season, Henderson is hitting .254 with a .276 isolated power, .869 OPS, and .368 wOBA versus right-handed pitching. All 11 of his home runs this season have come at the expense of a right-handed pitcher while he's still mashed them for a .256 ISO on the road despite diminished figures on the road overall.
Henderson collected four hits including a double and a home run in three games at Yankee Stadium in a late-May series in the Bronx earlier in the year. In other words, he reached two total bases in two of three games in this venue so far this season. His left-handed bat plays well in this venue but so does his speed as he has logged 11 doubles and three triples on the season. His speed should help in the power alleys in a deep center field at Yankee Stadium.
These two Orioles stars should be able to notch at least a pair of total bases at attractive, identical odds tonight.
