I've been on a bit of a roll on the side/total side of things on the books, but today we'll be looking at some props. We have a great slate to pick from today, as all 30 teams will be taking the field. Let's get right to it.

MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Christopher Sanchez OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (-160, FD) vs. WSH
I'll start things off on the pitching front with Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sanchez. Sanchez is making what will likely be his final start of the season as Philly goes back to a five-man rotation. The lefty has had no issues clearing this number in 2023, striking out four or more in eight of 11 starts this season. He brings in a 25.5% strikeout rate across the last two weeks. While the Nationals strike out considerably more against right-handed pitching, Sanchez did get them for six punchouts back on June 30. I'll back him to grab four today.
Logan Gilbert UNDER 1.5 Walks (-135, DK) vs. HOU
I'll take a look at Logan Gilbert's walks prop next. Gilbert is certainly not his teammate George Kirby when it comes to giving out walks, but he's still pretty darn good. He's walked two or more in just seven of 24 starts in 2023, including a July 9th start against Houston where he didn't allow a single free pass. Houston's walk rate has increased over the last 30 days, but with Gilbert bringing in just a 4.7% walk rate across the last two weeks, I'll back him here as my model has him projected for 1.22 walks today.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Jose Ramirez OVER 1.5 TB (-110, DK) vs. DET
I'll start things off on the hitter front with Jose Ramirez's total bases prop. Ramirez and the Guardians will take on Detroit starter Matt Manning, who outside of a combined no-hitter has not shown much to be desired in 2023. Ramirez has faced the 25-year-old hurler six times at this point in his career, going 2-6 with a double and a homer. He projects to a .374 wOBA and 2.08 total bases against Manning and is primed for a big day as the Guardians look to get a leg up in this series following a split yesterday.
Josh Bell OVER 1.5 TB (+130, DK) vs. LAD (G1)
I'll wrap things up with former Guardian Josh Bell's total bases prop. Since joining the Marlins, Bell has slashed .309/.377/.636 in 61 plate appearances. This is good for a nice .410 wOBA over his last seven days. My model has Ryan Pepiot slated to pitch game one of this doubleheader for the Dodgers. Bell has seen the 25-year-old righty twice in his career, going 1-2 with a single. He projects to 1.76 total bases and a .361 wOBA against Pepiot's pitch types in this one.
