MLB Pitcher Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Spencer Strider OVER 8.5K (+118 FD) vs. SD
I'll take a look at Spencer Strider for my first pitcher's prop of the day, taking a look at his strikeouts. Strider started off with a monster start against the Nats in his first outing of the year, before falling off in the two starts following.
However, he has struck out nine in each of these three starts, including his one against these same Padres, and that one came in just five innings of work. My model projects Strider to a 37.84% strikeout rate tonight and a projection of 8.77 strikeouts.
Blake Snell OVER 6.5K (-120 FD) vs. ATL
I'll be on the overs on both sides of this game tonight, this time looking at Blake Snell. Snell didn't make it out of the fourth inning in his last start against the Braves, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks. He had just two strikeouts in that outing, but we'll bet on a bounceback tonight.
My model projects Snell to a 33.09% strikeout rate in this matchup tonight, projecting to 7.26 strikeouts, with a 6.74 strikeout floor. Let's see if he can get it going.

MLB Hitter Prop Bets - Today's Betting Picks
Mike Trout over 0.5 TB (-175 DK) vs. NYY
Similar to last week, I'll back a couple of "dudes" in terms of hitting props. I'll start with Mike Trout. Trout is hitting .278 with five doubles and three home runs on the year. He brings in a .425 wOBA and 176 wRC+ into this matchup against Yankees starter Clarke Schmidt.
Trout has seen Schmidt just once in his career, striking out in his only at-bat against the righty. However, he projects to a .408 wOBA and 2.24 total bases tonight, providing some solid value here.
Yordan Alvarez over 1.5 TB (+100 DK) vs. TOR
I'll wrap things up tonight with Yordan Alvarez. Alvarez is hitting .288 with 15 hits, three doubles, and four homers on the young season. He brings in a .411 wOBA and 170 wRC+ into this matchup.
He'll take on Chris Bassitt, a pitcher he's seen 11 times in his career. He's 4-10 off the right-hander, with three homers as well as a walk. Yordan, who in my opinion is the best hitter in baseball, projects to a .367 wOBA and 2.84 total bases in this one tonight.
