Today's MLB Betting Picks - Braves @ Phillies
O/U: 8.5 | Moneyline: ATL -150
ATL: Spencer Strider | PHI: Ranger Suarez
We start our action today in Philadelphia with a matchup between the Braves and the Phillies. Spencer Strider will be toeing the rubber for the Braves, and Ranger Suarez will get the ball for the Phillies. Strider has been dominant this season, pitching to a 7-2 record with a 2.77 SIERA, 39.2% K, and a 9.3% BB.
Suarez, conversely, is 1-2 with a 3.89 SIERA, 22.0% K, and a 7.5% BB. The Braves have won 13 of their last 15 games and are clicking on all cylinders. They are 13-2 in games that Strider has started. The Braves are the best team in baseball against left-hand pitching. They own a 140 wRC+, a .383 wOBA, and a .545 SLG against left-hand pitching this season. When Strider is on the mound, and the Braves are facing a lefty, the moneyline is a lock for me.

Today's MLB Betting Picks - Rockies @ Reds

COL: Noah Davis | CIN: Ben Lively
Noah Davis and the Colorado Rockies will square off against Ben Lively and the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ballpark. The Reds are 9-1 over their last ten games, including a nine-game win streak. Conversely, the Rockies are 3-7 over their last ten games and have lost seven in a row.
Ben Lively has been the Reds' best arm this season. He is 4-4 with a 3.83 SIERA, 22.3% K, and a 5.1% BB. Noah Davis is 0-1 with a 3.98 SIERA, 21.8% K, and a 9.1% BB. The Rockies have yet to win a game in which Davis has started since his call-up to the big leagues.
The mismatch comes here on the offensive side of the ball. In June, the Reds have a 98 wRC+, .329 wOBA, and a .418 SLG against right-hand pitching. The Rockies on the road this season against right-hand pitching own an 83 wRC+, .296 wOBA, and a .363 SLG. I will ride the hot hand here with the Reds against the struggling Rockies.
