The stove is burning hot, and the water is finally at a boil as we get ready for the NASCAR Cup drivers to chase the lobster down at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. I wish I could be writing this from a Red Lobster, but due to COVID restrictions, seating was limited. It's been a busy weekend at The Holden household, but I wasn't going to leave behind my Rotoballers & Garage Fam after the long week off.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway (or 'The Hamp", as I like to call it) is a one-mile intermediate track that is similar to Dover and Martinsville. In recent years, Joe Gibbs Racing has been outstanding at leading laps, and Stewart-Haas Racing (basically K-Harv) has brought in the sneaky wins. It's no surprise that these are the two dominant teams in NASCAR right now, and we will most likely see a win for one of the two teams this weekend.

Denny Hamlin #11
(DraftKings $10,400 | FanDuel $13,400 | DK SportsBook +450)
Denny Hamlin (or as our good pal Corey LaJoie probably calls him "Dennis The Menace") is on a heater as of late, and is starting P2 in New Hampshire. Hamlin has won at this track in the past, and although there are some concerns with Aric Almirola starting on the pole, I fully expect him to take over the lead quickly, and be a dominator in DFS. Hamlin has three Top 3 finishes at this track since 2015.
Kyle Busch #18
(DraftKings $9,300 | FanDuel $12,600 | DK SportsBook +700)
We're getting back on our Busch'It this Sunday, as he tries to take "Old Yeller" (Pedigree Toyota Camry) to victory lane. Even though Busch has publically stated his practice concerns, it's time to adapt or die if he's going have a shot at the playoffs. Busch has improved in recent weeks, and with this being a track where he's proven DFS dominance, I'm ready to take a shot on him at these odds.
Martin Truex Jr. #19
(DraftKings $10,700 | FanDuel $12,200 | DK SportsBook +800)
As you can tell, I'm very high on Joe Gibbs Racing this weekend, and I have to get me some Truex Jr. at these amazing odds. Truex Jr. is itching for another win since Martinsville, and has a chance to add another checkmark to tracks he's never won at this weekend. In DFS, he has "hella" potential for positive placement starting in P11.
Matt Kenseth #42
(DraftKings $7,600 | FanDuel $8,000 | DK SportsBook +5000 )
Kenseth is my "Gut Boi Energy" play this week to win at these odds. On the DFS side of things, he's a great mid-tier play at his starting position of P21. Looking back to Kenseth's JGR days, he had a five-race Top 5 streak, and that along with the recent adjustments to his car give me confidence he can pull off the big bag on Sunday.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. #47
(DraftKings $6,800 | FanDuel $6,800)
Stenhouse Jr. is no doubt a favorite driver of mine, but all bias aside he is an amazing value this week at his starting position of P31. JTG Daugherty has been on the hot streak of last place as of late, and although I can't speak for Ryan Preece, I dont see Wild Ricky coming in last. It's rare that Stenhouse Jr is a "Safe Play" so dont miss out on the value this weekend.
Matt DiBenedetto #21
(DraftKings $8,300 | FanDuel $8,700)
Matty D is another mid-tier guy I love this weekend that should be low owned due to price, and starting position (P19). Last year, DiBenedetto sent the 95 Toyota Camry to a Top 5 finish, and with better equipment, I feel like he could swing at least a Top 10 this go-round. Just imagine watching Randy The Plumber make another "mATT DEbEnDeTto" video while he's on the move this Sunday.
Daniel Suarez #96
(DraftKings $5,900 | FanDuel $4,500)
Suarez is a rare write up for me, so it's really important to listen when I do. Drew and I discussed why we liked him is this week's NASCAR DFS Preview Show on Youtube, but I'll put it simply for you here. Suarez is DIRT CHEAP, and is the safest play on the board with very high upside potential starting in P37.
Chris Buescher #17
(DraftKings $6,100 | FanDuel $6,000)
Buescher is starting in P24 on Sunday, and is only being written about because "Mike Mac" and John Hunter Nemechek weren't that appealing to me this week. Buescher has only had two races in his career where he finished behind where he started at New Hampshire, which makes him a safe play based on the historic record. Buescher also allows you to maximize your lineups, and stay away from the guys who get lapped early.
