Fantasy Stock Up: Allen Hurns, Willie Snead and Vincent Jackson

It looks like Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns will be back in action in time to help lead all of his fantasy football owners to their championship. Hurns missed last week due to a concussion, but he practiced in full on Wednesday and should be good to go.

With the Jaguars set to go up against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 14, I like Hurns as a high-end WR2 this week. Quarterback Blake Bortles loved throwing the football to both Hurns and Allen Robinson and he should have plenty of time to throw the ball around on Sunday. I think both receivers are close to must-starts this week.

Through 11 games thus far this season, Hurns has 48 receptions for 758 yards and seven touchdowns. When he’s in the lineup, he has proved to be a consistent contributor for his fantasy owners.

Outside of Hurns and Robinson, I also like running back T.J. Yeldon as a RB1 and tight end Julius Thomas as a TE2.

In other news, the New Orleans Saints and quarterback Drew Brees should have Willie Snead back in the lineup for Week 14 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brees will be forced to throw the football more often for the rest of the season after running back Mark Ingram was placed on injured reserve this week with a shoulder injury. And Snead is the team’s best possession receiver.

Snead has been one of the pleasant surprises of the fantasy football season thus far. Through 11 games he has 45 receptions for 676 yards and three touchdowns.

I expect Brees to rely on Snead early and often on Sunday. I would peg him in as a low-end WR2 this week.

Speaking of the Buccaneers, wide receiver Vincent Jackson was limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. But being limited in practice for Jackson is a good thing. He has been banged up all season long, so the Bucs are simply just limiting his reps in practice so he’s ready to play on Sundays.

Jackson doesn’t have the chemistry with Jameis Winston that the rookie quarterback has with Mike Evans, but he’s still worth starting this week as a high end WR3.

Through nine games thus far this season Jackson has 32 receptions for 538 yards and three touchdowns. He has been inconsistent which makes him a risky start, but he always has the potential to put up a ton of points.
