Tyreek Hill Injury Update
UPDATE: Tyreek Hill has been ruled OUT for Week 15
Tyreek Hill suffered an ankle injury in last week's loss to the Tennessee Titans. The star receiver has not been able to practice all week, but the Miami Dolphins have officially listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the New York Jets on their final injury report.
If any player on the Dolphins does not need to practice to play, it is Tyreek Hill. With that said, this is a situation that needs to be monitored all weekend, and managers should prepare to have a pivot option ready if the 29-year-old is officially ruled out. Jaylen Waddle would be the de facto No. 1 option, but the matchup is not great, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa struggled mightily last week when Hill had to sit out at times. Hill is a must-start if active.
Justin Jefferson Injury Update
Justin Jefferson suffered a chest injury in his return to action last week after taking a massive shot on a pass that he caught in the middle of the field. Positive news has come out on his status after a trip to the hospital, and Minnesota has officially listed their star receiver as questionable for Saturday's game against the Bengals.
Jefferson is expected to start with the Vikings vying for a playoff spot every week moving forward, and fantasy managers should continue to roll him out there even if the team is making another quarterback change. If, for any reason, Jefferson was to miss, K.J. Osborn and Jordan Addison would see an increase in targets and be better options. Fantasy managers should know the star receiver's status early on Saturday.
Chris Olave Injury Update
Chris Olave suffered an ankle injury last week and has not been able to participate in practice this past week. Despite no practice time, the New Orleans Saints listed their top receiver as questionable for Sunday's game against the surging New York Giants on their final injury report.
Hearing from head coach Dennis Allen that Olave's injury is not a high ankle sprain is encouraging, but the turnaround could be too quick for the 23-year-old to suit up Sunday. At best, Olave will be active but playing at less than 100%. Fantasy managers should still start him if active, as he was on quite the hot streak before the injury occurred last week. However, Rashid Shaheed would serve as the No. 1 option if Olave were to miss the game and should see a higher target share regardless of his status.
DJ Moore Injury Update
DJ Moore suffered an ankle injury in last week's win over the Detroit Lions that caused him to miss this past Wednesday's practice. The 26-year-old returned to practice in a limited fashion Thursday and ended the week as a full participant. The Chicago Bears officially listed their top receiver as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns on their final injury report Friday.
Moore seems likely to suit up Sunday, meaning he likely avoided a high ankle sprain this past weekend. The Bears' top target has been great for fantasy purposes since quarterback Justin Fields has returned and would be a top 15 option this week if active, even against a stiff Cleveland pass defense. If Moore does sit for any reason, Darnell Mooney would see the biggest target bump with tight end Cole Kmet also seeing an increase.
Marquise Brown Injury Update
Marquise Brown has dealt with a heel injury the past few weeks that has caused him to miss practice time but no game time. The 23-year-old tried to play through the injury in Week 13 but drew just three targets and was catchless against the Steelers. Brown was able to put in two limited sessions this week and was officially listed as questionable on the Cardinals' final injury report.
The Cardinals could opt to play it safe with Brown, but head coach Johnathan Gannon sounded optimistic about him playing when talking about him on Friday. If active, Brown will have flex appeal in the divisional showdown with the 49ers. Michael Wilson (shoulder) could also make his return this weekend, leaving Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch off of the fantasy radar in Week 15.
Christian Watson Injury Update
Christian Watson suffered a hamstring injury back in Week 13 and has not been able to return to the practice field since. Even after sitting out all week, the Green Bay Packers are listing their top receiver as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers rather than ruling him out completely.
Watson is a long shot to play on Sunday, meaning Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed will operate as the top two receivers on Sunday and are both in flex consideration due to the positive matchup against Tampa Bay. Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) would also be a dart throw in deeper leagues due to his big play ability if he can suit up Sunday. Fantasy managers could be without Watson for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs unless he can get back on the practice field next week.
Nico Collins Injury Update
Nico Collins suffered a setback to his quad injury last week against the New York Jets. The 24-year-old has been held out of practice all week, but the Texans officially labeled him as questionable for Sunday's game against the division-rival Tennessee Titans on their final injury report Friday.
With quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) out and fellow wide receiver Noah Brown (knee) listed as questionable, the Texans are a mess on offense heading into the weekend. There is optimism surrounding Brown's status heading into the weekend, but even as the top target, he will be nothing more than a flex option with Davis Mills replacing Stroud. Collins seems more likely than not to miss this week and could be out again next week if he cannot find his way onto the practice field.
Chris Godwin Injury Update
Chris Godwin has been dealing with a knee injury that has cost him practice time but no game time. The 27-year-old rested the first two days of practice this week before being a full participant on Friday. The Buccaneers officially listed the veteran as questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers on their Friday injury report.
It is strange to see Godwin labeled as a game-time decision after practicing in full on Friday, but the injury has caused him to miss entire practices, and the Buccaneers want to take care of their veteran receiver. Mike Evans would see a target bump if Godwin were to sit with Trey Palmer set to see an increase in snap share as well. Godwin would be on the WR2/3 borderline if active.
Noah Brown Injury Update
Noah Brown suffered a knee injury a few weeks ago and has been battling through it ever since. The 27-year-old has played the past two weeks but has failed to register a reception. After a full week of limited practice participation, the Texans listed the veteran receiver as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans on their final injury report.
Brown seems likely to play Sunday and will be a much-needed addition, with Tank Dell (fibula) on injured reserve and Nico Collins (calf) looking more doubtful than questionable. Starting quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion) will miss this week, leaving backup Davis Mills to lead the charge and causing Brown's stock to drop a bit. However, as the top receiver Sunday, the 27-year-old will have flex appeal if active.
Brandin Cooks Injury Update
Brandin Cooks has dealt with an illness this week that has cost him practice time this past week. Despite this, the Dallas Cowboys listed their No. 2 wide receiver as questionable for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills on their Friday injury report.
Most players are active even if sick, so fantasy managers should expect Cooks to be ready to go on Sunday. The game is set to be a wet and cold one, with rain expected throughout the contest, potentially causing issues for both passing attacks. Cooks remains a flex option with how well the Dallas offense has played lately.
Michael Wilson Injury Update
Michael Wilson has been out since Week 10 due to a shoulder injury that he suffered against the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie has been able to practice in a limited fashion for the first time since the injury this past week, and the Cardinals officially listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers on Friday.
Wilson had been working as the No. 2 wide receiver back when he was active and had more than a few fantasy-relevant performances. With the Cardinals' offense nearly back to full strength, they will do all they can to slow down the red-hot San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Wilson would be a low-end flex option if active, with Rondale Moore and Greg Dortch going back to waiver wire status.
Dontayvion Wicks Injury Update
Dontayvion Wicks suffered an ankle injury during last week's loss to the New York Giants. The rookie has been limited in all but one practice this past week and was officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the Packers final Friday injury report.
With Christian Watson (hamstring) likely out again this week, Wicks could have flex appeal in deeper leagues due to the great matchup and his ability to make big plays. Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs will still see more snaps as the top two receivers, but Wicks can turn a catch or two into 50-plus yards and a touchdown, making him an option for any fantasy manager who is struggling.
JuJu Smith-Schuster Injury Update
JuJu Smith-Schuster has dealt with an ankle injury this past week that has left him limited in practice. The 27-year-old was listed officially as questionable for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs on the Patriots final injury report Friday.
Smith-Schuster had his best game of the season last week, catching four of six targets for 90 yards with Bailey Zappe under center. Rookie Demario Douglas was left off of the injury report after clearing the concussion protocol on Friday, so the veteran will have to compete for targets with the talented rookie this weekend. With that said, due to the matchup, Smith-Schuster remains nothing more than a desperate flex play if active.
Tutu Atwell Injury Update
Tutu Atwell suffered a concussion in last week's game against the Baltimore Ravens. While the 24-year-old has been able to practice on a limited basis, he has yet to clear the league's concussion protocol. Atwell was listed officially as questionable for Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders on the Rams' final injury report.
All that is left is for Atwell to clear the protocol to be able to play this weekend, so keep an eye on reports leading up to the game. Atwell has not done much since the return of Cooper Kupp, but the matchup makes him a volatile flex option for those in dynasty leagues that need a second or third flex.
Josh Reynolds Injury Update
Josh Reynolds is dealing with a back injury that has left him limited in practice this past week. Detroit officially ruled the 28-year-old questionable for Saturday's game against the Denver Broncos on Thursday, meaning he got an extra day of rest on Friday.
The Lions have been struggling lately in the win department, so having all of their weapons on hand would be preferred. For fantasy purposes, Reynolds can be left on the waiver wire as he has not been fantasy-relevant outside of scoring a few touchdowns over the past five weeks.
