Jalen Coker (CAR) Injury Update
Game Status: Doubtful
Carolina Panthers undrafted rookie wide receiver Jalen Coker made a name for himself with his play and picked up his first career start in Week 10. Since then, a quad injury has kept him out of the lineup.
#Panthers WR Jalen Coker is listed as DOUBTFUL for Sunday vs. PHI with a quadriceps injury.
— Jared Feinberg (@JRodNFLDraft) December 6, 2024
Listed as doubtful, his absence is likely to extend to three games. Adam Thielen, Xavier Legette, and David Moore will be Carolina's top receivers against a stingy Philadelphia secondary.
Keon Coleman (BUF) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
Rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman (wrist) missed Buffalo's games in Weeks 10 and 11 before the team took their bye in Week 12. After the bye, Coleman sat out of Week 13's win. He's questionable for what could be his fourth straight missed game.
Bills are listing WR Keon Coleman and TE Dalton Kincaid as questionable for Sunday’s game vs. the Rams.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 6, 2024
The second-round pick was limited in practice all week. With a crowded wide receiver room and uncertain health, Coleman shouldn't be in starting lineups this week.
CeeDee Lamb (DAL) Injury Update
Game Status: N/A
Dallas' star wide receiver managed an AC joint injury in November and reportedly reaggravated it during the team's Thanksgiving victory over the New York Giants.
CeeDee Lamb (shoulder) has no doubts he will play Monday. "It comes with the territory man. It’s about being a baller and it’s about going out there and sacrificing, putting yourself out there for your guys. And that’s what I'm doing. As far as Monday goes, I’ll be fine by then."
— Todd Archer (@toddarcher) December 6, 2024
Lamb says he'll be ready to play. It is risky, as one hit to his shoulder could aggravate the injury again. He doesn't have an official injury designation yet because the Cowboys play the Bengals on Monday night.
Allen Lazard (NYJ) Injury Update
Game Status: No injury designation
New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard missed five games with a back injury. The team activated Lazard on Friday and he is expected to play against the Miami Dolphins.
been too long, @AllenLazard‼️ pic.twitter.com/Oi7Mkomnkj
— New York Jets (@nyjets) December 4, 2024
Lazard will be the third wide receiver behind Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams. However, Aaron Rodgers has chemistry with his two-time teammate and Lazard could poach an endzone target from Wilson or Adams.
Ladd McConkey (LAC) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
Ladd McConkey's breakout campaign may be put on hold. The rookie limped throughout the team's win in Atlanta and sat out for part of the fourth quarter. He's on the injury report with knee and shoulder ailments.
#Chargers game status
DOUBTFUL: Denzel Perryman
QUESTIONABLE: Ladd McConkey, Tony Jefferson, Junior Colson
McConkey was limited today. Jefferson was DNP.
— Daniel Popper (@danielrpopper) December 6, 2024
McConkey was limited in practice all week and his availability is uncertain. If he's active, he'll be a WR2 against a Kansas City defense suddenly bleeding points to wide receivers.
Unfortunately, the Chargers and Chiefs play on Sunday Night Football. Fantasy managers may not have a clear indication of McConkey's availability before earlier games begin.
Jakobi Meyers (NE) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
Jakobi Meyers appeared on the Las Vegas injury report midweek due to an ankle issue. He returned to a limited practice on Friday. Head coach Antonio Pierce doesn't seem concerned about his availability.
"Full go, ready to go." - #Raiders coach Antonio Pierce, on QB Aidan O'Connell, who missed practice Thursday with an illness. Pierve also said WR Jakobi Meyers, who also sat out with an ankle issue, would be good to go.
— Paul Gutierrez (@PGutierrezESPN) December 6, 2024
Meyers has been just outside WR1 territory in points per game since Week 8 (his return from injury). In a plus matchup against Tampa Bay, he's a must-start receiver.
DJ Moore (CHI) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
Positive news for Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore. He hurt his quad on Thanksgiving against Detroit. He missed two days of practice but managed a limited session on Friday.
DJ Moore is optimistic that he'll play vs. San Francisco despite being listed as questionable. He injured his quad running a wheel route early vs. Detroit and played through it.
Moore: "I play through everything."
— Courtney Cronin (@CourtneyRCronin) December 6, 2024
Moore believes he'll play against the 49ers. He's in the midst of a resurgence with interim head coach Thomas Brown calling the plays. Moore ranks as a WR2.
Malik Nabers (NYG) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
There's uncertainty about Malik Nabers playing on Sunday. Originally, he had a groin injury he'd managed for the last few weeks, but he didn't practice Friday because of a hip flexor. That's a new injury.
Daboll said Malik Nabers injured his hip flexor in yesterday’s practice. This is a new injury, not related to the nagging groin injury. He won’t practice today, but Daboll said he’s not ruling him out yet for Sunday.
— Dan Duggan (@DDuggan21) December 6, 2024
He has not been ruled out. However, it sounds like he's a game-time decision for New York's tussle with the Saints.
George Pickens (PIT) Injury Update
Game Status: Questionable
George Pickens made headlines for talking trash about Cleveland cornerback Greg Newsome II. A few hours later, he made headlines for appearing on Pittsburgh's injury report with a hamstring issue. He was not listed before Friday.
#Steelers final injury report ahead of the Browns game.
George Pickens is questionable after a limited participation level on Friday. Seems he tweaked a hamstring.
He did speak to the media today, which is usually a positive sign for player availability come Gameday pic.twitter.com/XOzu6rFrV0
— Rob Gregson (@NFL_Rob) December 6, 2024
Players who speak to the media typically play on Sunday. Expect Pickens to be in uniform, but double-check the inactive list on Sunday morning.
UPDATE: Pickens (hamstring) is officially OUT. Calvin Austin III can be flexed as a fringe WR3 option.
Cedric Tillman (CLE) Injury Update
Game Status: OUT
Cedric Tillman suffered a concussion against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football two weeks ago. He remains in the league's concussion protocol and will not play on Sunday.
#Browns rule out Cedric Tillman (concussion), Jedrick Wills Jr. (knee), DTs Maurice Hurst (ankle) and Sam Kamara (concussion) for Sunday vs. #Steelers.
Juan Thornhill (calf), Jamari Thrash (shoulder) and Myles Harden (tibia) are all listed as questionable. pic.twitter.com/QMZ5KQ47BR
— Noah Weiskopf (@BrownsWithNoah) December 6, 2024
Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, and David Njoku are exceeding expectations with Jameis Winston under center and will continue to dominate targets against Pittsburgh.
