The AFC and NFC Championship games, which will decide who gets to participate in Super Bowl LIX, will happen on Sunday, January 26th. The Buffalo Bills will take on the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC crown in a fierce inter-divisional rivalry game. The Bills bested the Chiefs 30-21 in Week 11.
Meanwhile, the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles will battle for the NFC crown. Philly bested Washington 26-18 in Week 11, but the Commanders were able to best the Eagles in Week 16 by a score of 36-33. These games set the stage for what should be a hotly contested conclusion.
Below, we'll break down the wide receiver injuries being dealt with by both teams in detail.

A.J. Brown (PHI) Injury Update
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee, rest, illness) practiced in full on Friday. He will play in Sunday's game. How close he will be to 100% is questionable, but the Eagles have selectively phased him out of the offense many times regardless.

It's not known what illness he's dealing with, but typically those injury designations indicate some contagious virus like the flu or a cold. It's unclear how it will affect his play. He alluded earlier in the season to his knee not being 100%, but implied that he had to play through it regardless.
He's been dealing with that knee issue for weeks now, and it's possible it could be a long-term injury that flares up at times or some kind of a light sprain. There haven't been any indications that it's serious, so it's probably not worth it to worry about his availability.
Olamide Zaccheaus (WAS) Injury Update
The only wide receiver on the active roster who's been designated on the Commanders' injury report this week is WR Olamide Zaccheaus (shoulder). However, he was cleared from the report after Friday. He practiced in a limited fashion on both Wednesday and Thursday.

He then upgraded to a full practice on Friday, so he's fine. He will play on Sunday. He's had an inconsistent role in the team's passing game, but perhaps he'll have extra motivation to beat his old team in his revenge game -- he played for the Eagles for just one season in 2023.
Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills WR Injury Updates
There's nothing much to report here, so that's a good thing. All receivers that are on the active rosters for both teams are healthy and ready to play. The team will of course be without receivers Rashee Rice (knee), Skyy Moore (abdomen) and Mecole Hardman (knee).

Those three wideouts are all on injured reserve, though, and will stay there for the rest of the season (while Rice and Hardman have been ruled out, Moore technically hasn't, but he's not expected to return until the 2025 season, if the team decides to retain him).
On the Bills side of things, their wideouts are all doing fine.
