The fantasy football playoffs are here, and the tight end position can have a huge effect on the outcome of matchups. That said, monitoring the latest tight end injuries heading into Week 15 is paramount. The position could see two key studs return from injured reserve, while some lower-level streamers are on the injury report, too. Darren Waller, Dallas Goedert, Hayden Hurst, and Daniel Bellinger have uncertain statuses for Week 15. Our fantasy football injury reports for tight ends as of Wednesday, December 14th will give you the latest scoop.
Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football. Tight ends are always tricky to navigate in fantasy football, so keeping up with the latest injury news is vital for staying competitive.

Darren Waller Injury Update
Los Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) said he's "on track" to return from Injured Reserve to face the New England Patriots in Week 15. It's tough to take a player's statement as fact, so we'll have to wait for injury updates later in the week.
The Patriots are just a neutral matchup for tight ends, so fantasy managers who have been forced to play the streamer game should immediately insert Waller into lineups. He's a bust risk since he hasn't played since Week 8, but the tight end position is scarce, and he still has as much upside as any player at the position.
Dallas Goedert Injury Update
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) is expected to return from Injured Reserve and play against the Chicago Bears in Week 15. However, there's also a chance the team could wait until Week 16 to activate him for the Christmas Eve game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Fantasy managers will need to stay updated, but he's a must-start whenever he does return. Goedert is the TE3 in fantasy points per game (12.6 PPR), and despite missing the Eagles' last four games, he's still the No. 9 tight end in total fantasy points. He's one of the top-tier tight ends that should never be benched.
Hayden Hurst Injury Update
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) remains week-to-week, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Hurst injured his calf in Week 13 and did not play in the Week 14 win over the Cleveland Browns. The 29-year-old doesn't look particularly close to returning, so fantasy managers should once again have a backup plan at the tight end position. We'll keep a close eye on his practice status this week.
With receivers Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Tyler Boyd (finger) banged up, the Bengals could use Hurst back in the lineup in Week 15 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With Hurst out on Sunday against Cleveland, Mitchell Wilcox caught one of his two targets for 10 yards. If Higgins, Boyd and Hurst all sit out in Week 15, receiver Trenton Irwin will be the biggest beneficiary.
Daniel Bellinger Injury Update
New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (ribs) was "pretty sore" on Monday after getting injured in the Week 14 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It sounds like there is some concern about whether Bellinger will be able to play in Week 15 against the Washington Commanders. The 22-year-old injured his ribs in the second quarter on Sunday and continued to play, but he was pulled in the fourth quarter in the blowout loss.
Fantasy managers will need to keep close tabs on his practice status for the week after he caught all three of his targets for 19 yards against Philly. Bellinger has become an interesting TE2 streamer in a Giants offense lacking legitimate receiving threats. If he cannot play in Week 15, Nick Vannett should be the team's starter at tight end.
