Dallas Goedert Injury Update
Philadelphia Eagles tight ends Dallas Goedert (forearm) and Grant Calcaterra (ankle) did not practice with the team on Wednesday. Goedert broke his right forearm in Week 9, required surgery and hasn't practiced since, but the Eagles were hoping that he might be able to return to play in Sunday's showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. It's not a good start to the week for the 28-year-old, but he still has two more days of practice left.
If Goedert does make it back and plays in Week 13, he'll be at risk of having his snaps limited in his first game back. Jack Stoll has just two receptions on four targets for 17 scoreless yards in the two games Goedert has missed, so he should continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes if Goedert misses his third game this weekend.
Dalton Schultz Injury Update
Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (hamstring) didn't practice with the team on Wednesday. The 27-year-old had a rough showing in the Week 12 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching one pass for two yards. But now he's dealing with a hamstring issue, so fantasy managers will wait to see how things play out heading toward Sunday's matchup with the Denver Broncos.
That said, Schultz's fantasy production has relied heavily on his ability to find the end zone. He's only caught more than four passes in two games this season. However, Schultz has found the end zone in five of his last eight games.
Trey McBride Injury Update
Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (groin) didn't practice on Wednesday. The 24-year-old is coming off one of his best games of the season, collecting seven of his nine targets for 60 yards. However, he's currently battling a groin issue, although only time will tell if he'll suit up in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Marquise Brown (heel) and Michael Wilson (shoulder) also weren't in attendance for Wednesday's session, so it could be a rough week for Kyler Murray.
At any rate, Zach Ertz (quadriceps) remains on the injured reserve list, meaning Geoff Swaim, who has just 12 catches this season, could be the next man up if McBride doesn't play.
Gerald Everett Injury Update
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Gerald Everett (shoulder) was a full participant in practice on Wednesday. Everett was unable to play in Week 11 but returned in Week 12 to face the Baltimore Ravens after a questionable tag and caught all four of his targets for 43 yards and his third touchdown of the season in Sunday night's 20-10 loss. He's still on the Week 13 injury report, but he appears to be fine to play this weekend on the road in New England against the Patriots.
The 29-year-old's return to action has taken Donald Parham Jr. off the streaming radar for the time being. Everett hasn't cleared 47 receiving yards in a game all year and will continue being a touchdown-dependent TE2 in fantasy lineups this weekend.
