Just like that, our Super Bowl LIX match is set. The Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a Super Bowl LVII rematch.
With only two games this weekend, the injury report is very light. Still, there were a few players who got dinged up. Let’s catch you up on who went down in yesterday’s games.

Saquon Barkley - RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Barkley had another monster game yesterday against the Washington Commanders. He ran for 118 yards and scored three rushing touchdowns.

However, he was later seen riding a stationary bike on the Eagles' sideline and massaging his calf.

It sure seemed like something was bothering Barkley throughout the game. Whatever he was dealing with, it did not have any impact on his performance. He should be fine moving forward.
What a season it has been for Philadelphia’s RB1. He’s put up monster game after monster game, and it now culminates with a Super Bowl appearance. Barkley and the Eagles will look to secure the franchise’s second Lombardi Trophy when they take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in two weeks.
Kenneth Gainwell - RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Gainwell suffered a concussion in last night’s victory over the Washington Commanders.

Rookie Will Shipley took over RB2 duties in Gainwell’s absence. Shipley performed well in relief. He ran for 77 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

With the Eagles advancing to Super Bowl LIX, Gainwell will have two weeks to clear concussion protocol and suit up for the game. If he can’t go, Shipley would serve as the backup to Saquon Barkley.
Either way, Philadelphia’s RB2 is unlikely to see much action as Barkley will very likely be the focal point of Philadelphia’s offense in the biggest game of the year.
