Matchups Analysis - Sunday 1:00 EST Games
New Orleans Saints at New York Giants
Spread: Saints -5
Matchups We Love:
RB Alvin Kamara
Alvin Kamara will remain a strong RB1 option in Week 14 against the Giants. New York has given up the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season, and Rico Dowdle just rushed for a career-high 112 yards against this front seven a week ago. With Kamara also catching at least four passes in nine straight games, he needs to be in all lineups this week.
Despite some fumble issues in recent weeks, Tyrone Tracy Jr. still played 73% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 13. As a result, fantasy managers can feel confident starting him as an RB2 in Week 14 against the Saints. New Orleans has given up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing a top-12 fantasy running back in three of the past four games.
WR Malik Nabers
Malik Nabers has been more of a WR3 option in recent weeks, as he has finished between the WR24 and WR30 in PPR formats in five straight games. Part of that has been due to the rookie's lack of touchdowns. However, Nabers will be a strong start in Week 14 against the Saints. New Orleans has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season.
Update: Nabers suffered a hip injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
Wan'Dale Robinson hasn't been a solid fantasy option over the past few weeks. He has scored under 10 PPR fantasy points in five of the past six games. However, Robinson has some flex appeal in deeper formats this weekend. The Saints have given up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing slot wideouts over the last six weeks, and slot wideouts like Elijah Moore have had strong fantasy days recently against this defense.
Matchups We Hate:
With Taysom Hill (knee) out for the season, the expectation is that Juwan Johnson could see a few more targets every game. Nonetheless, this is not the week to start Johnson in fantasy. The Giants have given up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and this New York secondary hasn't allowed a top-14 fantasy tight end in eight straight contests.
Other Matchups:
QB Derek Carr
Derek Carr will continue to be without several top playmakers in this game (Chris Olave and Taysom Hill). However, he will still be a solid QB2 option against a Giants defense that has given up the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. New York has allowed a top-14 fantasy quarterback in seven of the last nine weeks.
QB Drew Lock
Drew Lock will make another start in Week 14, but he'll be a low-end QB2 option against the Saints. Lock only finished with 15.8 fantasy points last week in a great matchup and now will face a Saints secondary that has limited big fantasy games to opposing quarterbacks in recent weeks. Kirk Cousins, Bryce Young, Bo Nix, and Patrick Mahomes have all finished with less than 15 fantasy points against this defense since Week 5.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling has been a touchdown machine since joining the Saints. He has four touchdowns over the last three games, which has helped him finish as a top-28 fantasy wide receiver in all three of those contests. However, Valdes-Scantling will be a boom-or-bust flex play in deeper leagues this weekend. He has just seven catches over the last three weeks.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling since joining the #Saints four games ago: 8 catches, 237 yards, 4 touchdowns.

Injuries:
- Chris Olave (concussion)
- Theo Johnson (foot)
- Taysom Hill (knee)
- Malik Nabers (hip)
Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers
Spread: Steelers -6.5
Matchups We Love:
George Pickens didn't do much in his last meeting against the Browns in snowy/windy conditions. But expect that to be different this time around in Week 14. Pickens has scored at least 16 PPR fantasy points in three of the past four games, and Cleveland has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. So, he will be a strong WR2 play this weekend.
Update: George Pickens has been ruled OUT due to a hamstring injury.
Matchups We Hate:
Given the way Jameis Winston played last week, it's likely going to be hard to sit him in most formats this weekend. Winston threw for 497 yards and four touchdowns against the Broncos. However, Winston will be a risky QB2 option in Week 14 against the Steelers. Pittsburgh has given up the fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks, and only Joe Burrow has scored more than 18.5 fantasy points against this secondary this year.
Steelers RBs
Both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren will have a tough matchup in Week 14 against the Browns. Cleveland has given up the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs while allowing just three top-12 fantasy running backs all season. Harris will be a low-end RB2 against a Browns defense that he struggled against just two weeks ago. As for Warren, he'll be a potential flex play in 12-plus team leagues.
WR Elijah Moore
Moore has been a reliable flex option since Winston took over. He has scored above 18 PPR fantasy points in two of the past three games. However, expectations should be tempered in Week 14 against the Steelers. Pittsburgh has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing slot wideouts over the last six weeks, and slot wideouts like Zay Flowers (two catches) have struggled against this secondary recently.
Other Matchups:
QB Russell Wilson
Wilson had his best fantasy day last week, scoring 27.9 fantasy points behind a 414-yard, three-touchdown performance. Now, he'll face a tougher Browns secondary in Week 14. Nevertheless, Wilson has some QB1 appeal this week with six teams on bye. Cleveland has allowed at least 270 pass yards in four of the past five games.
WR Jerry Jeudy
Jerry Jeudy went off in fantasy last week, scoring a career-high 40.5 PPR fantasy points. After that big performance, Jeudy is now the WR4 in PPR formats since Week 8. As a result, Jeudy will be a strong WR2 play in Week 14 against the Steelers. Even though Pittsburgh has one of the better defenses in the league, this secondary has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers since Week 8.
Pat Freiermuth scored a season-high 18.8 PPR fantasy points last week against the Ravens while seeing seven targets in the contest. So, he does have some TE1 potential in deeper leagues in Week 14 against the Browns. The Steelers playmaker has scored at least 9.9 PPR fantasy points in three of the past four weeks, and Cleveland has allowed four top-16 fantasy tight-end finishes over the last five games.
TE David Njoku
David Njoku caught nine passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns last week and will remain a strong TE1 option in Week 14 against the Steelers. Although Pittsburgh has allowed only one top-12 fantasy tight-end finish since Week 7, it's hard to sit Njoku this weekend. He just saw 17 targets last week and is currently averaging 12.97 PPR fantasy points per game this season.
Injuries:
- Cedric Tillman (concussion)
- George Pickens (hamstring)
Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings
Spread: Vikings -5.5
Matchups We Love:
QB Sam Darnold
Sam Darnold has been a reliable QB1 option for fantasy managers in recent weeks, and he'll continue to be a solid play in most leagues this weekend. Darnold has scored above 18 fantasy points in five of the past six games. Now, he'll go up against a Falcons secondary that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season.
Falcons WRs
Both Drake London and Darnell Mooney could be in for big games in Week 14. Minnesota has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and wideouts like DJ Moore (26.9 PPR fantasy points), Keenan Allen (23.6 PPR fantasy points), and Marvin Harrison Jr. (17 PPR fantasy points) have all had solid fantasy days against this secondary in recent weeks. London is a must-start, while Mooney is a WR2 play.
Justin Jefferson has failed to score above 17 PPR fantasy points in four straight games. But this could be the week we finally see a big game from the Vikings wideout. The Falcons have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, and Jefferson should have his way against A.J. Terrell in this game. Terrell ranks 90th in catch rate allowed.
Matchups We Hate:
None
Other Matchups:
QB Kirk Cousins
Kirk Cousins will play against his former team for the first time since leaving Minnesota this offseason. It will be sort of a "revenge game" for Cousins on Sunday. Although he has thrown six interceptions over the last three games, he'll be a high-end QB2 play this weekend. The Vikings have allowed at least 16 fantasy points to the position in five of the past seven games.
This matchup isn't the best for Bijan Robinson in Week 14. The Vikings have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season and haven't allowed a top-20 fantasy running back in five straight games. However, Robinson will still be a strong RB1 play in Week 14. The Falcons back has scored over 20 PPR fantasy points in six of the past seven contests.
RB Aaron Jones
Aaron Jones didn't see many opportunities in last week's win after fumbling early in the contest. However, his day was salvaged by a late touchdown in the final minutes. In Week 14, Jones will come in as a solid RB2 play against a Falcons defense that has allowed at least 15 PPR fantasy points to seven different running backs over the last seven games.
With six teams on bye this week, Jordan Addison will be a potential flex play in most leagues in Week 14. Addison has scored in double figures in PPR formats in three of the past five weeks while seeing at least six targets in each of the past three games. With the Falcons allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position, the Vikings playmaker has some appeal in 12-plus team leagues this weekend.
TE Kyle Pitts
It'll be hard to rely on Kyle Pitts in fantasy this week against the Vikings. He has caught one pass or fewer in three of the past four games and just played a season-low 41% of the team's offensive snaps a week ago. Even though Minnesota has allowed a top-12 fantasy tight end in three straight weeks, Pitts will be more of a TE2 option in Week 14.
The good news for T.J. Hockenson is that he played 64% of the team's offensive snaps last week and saw at least six targets for the third time in four games. The bad news, though, is that Hockenson finished with less than six PPR fantasy points for the third time since Week 9. So, he'll be a low-end TE1 play this week against a Falcons secondary that hasn't allowed over 10 PPR fantasy points to the position in three straight games.
Injuries:
None
Las Vegas Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Spread: Buccaneers -6.5
Matchups We Love:
Aidan O'Connell surprised a lot of fantasy managers last week, throwing for a career-high 340 pass yards and two touchdowns against the Chiefs secondary. Now, he'll have a much easier matchup in Week 14 against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to the position while allowing at least 19 fantasy points to eight different quarterbacks this season. O'Connell is a sneaky QB2 option.
Baker Mayfield struggled last week in a great matchup against the Panthers, only scoring 12.2 fantasy points. The good news for Mayfield, though, is that he has another elite matchup on deck against the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three of the past four games. As a result, he'll be a solid QB1 option in Week 14.
Jakobi Meyers has been a reliable WR2 option since Davante Adams left. Meyers is the WR17 since Week 8 while averaging 16.5 PPR fantasy points during that span. Now, he gets a great matchup in Week 14 against a Buccaneers secondary that has allowed an 85-plus yard receiver in five of the past six games. That makes the Raiders playmaker a solid WR2 play this weekend.
Update: Meyers is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.
TE Brock Bowers
To no one's surprise, Brock Bowers should remain in lineups in Week 14 against the Buccaneers. Bowers just caught 10 passes for 140 yards and one touchdown last week, and Tampa Bay has given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. This defense has also allowed a top-6 fantasy tight end in four of the past six games.
TE Cade Otton
Since Mike Evans has returned, Cade Otton has not been a major factor in the passing game. He has just five catches for 50 yards over the past two games. However, Otton has some potential as a TE1 play this weekend against the Raiders. Las Vegas has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season and just gave up 11 receptions to Kansas City tight ends a week ago.
Matchups We Hate:
None
Other Matchups:
Raiders RBs
There's a good chance that Alexander Mattison (ankle) returns this week after being listed as questionable last week. However, it's best to likely stay away from this Raiders backfield this week. Mattison might be limited, Ameer Abdullah will see his fair share of opportunities, and Sincere McCormick will likely not be pushed back to the bench following an encouraging showing in Week 13. So, it's best to sit all Raider backs this week.
Update: Mattison is listed as questionable for Sunday's game. If he's ruled out, Abdullah and McCormick would be low-end flex plays.
RB Bucky Irving
Irving is looking like a league-winner for fantasy managers, and he should be in all lineups this week against the Raiders. Irving just rushed for a career-high 152 yards in last week's win while playing 54% of the team's offensive snaps. So, he'll be a strong RB1 play in Week 14. Las Vegas has allowed a 19-point running back in PPR formats in two of the past four games.
Update: Irving is listed as questionable for Week 14 due to a hip/back injury.
Lowest Percentage of Runs Resulting in Negative or No Gain This Season: (Min. 100 Carries)
🥇 Bucky Irving: 12.9%
🥈 David Montgomery: 13.3%
🥈 Derrick Henry: 13.3% pic.twitter.com/yo2Aw6ZP0Z— PFF Fantasy & Betting (@PFF_Fantasy) December 5, 2024
RB Rachaad White
Even though White didn't do much last week, he still played 53% of the team's offensive snaps. However, the biggest concern for him moving forward is that he has caught just two passes for 12 yards over the last two games. With Irving stealing his catches in the passing game, the third-year back will be more of a flex play in Week 14.
WR Mike Evans
Evans will be a solid WR2 option in Week 14 against the Raiders. He has totaled over 65 receiving yards in both of his games back from injury, and this Las Vegas secondary has allowed at least 90 receiving yards to two different wide receivers over the last two weeks. Both DeAndre Hopkins (90 yards) and Courtland Sutton (97 yards and two touchdowns) dominated this defense in recent weeks.
Injuries:
- Chris Godwin (ankle)
- Mike Evans (hamstring/calf)
- Bucky Irving (hip/back)
Carolina Panthers at Philadelphia Eagles
Spread: Eagles -12.5
Matchups We Love:
QB Jalen Hurts
Jalen Hurts will continue to be a must-start quarterback option in Week 14 against the Panthers. Carolina has given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing at least 28 fantasy points to the position in two of the past five games. Hurts should be in all lineups this week.
Saquon Barkley has been the best fantasy running back this season. He has rushed for over 100 yards in six of the past seven games and will remain a must-start in Week 14 against the Panthers. Carolina has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season.
With Dallas Goedert (knee) labeled as week-to-week, Grant Calcaterra will draw the start in Week 14 against the Panthers. In four games without Goedert this season, Calcaterra scored at least eight PPR fantasy points in three of those contests. He has some appeal in deeper leagues against a Carolina defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season.
Update: Goedert is officially ruled for Week 14.
Matchups We Hate:
QB Bryce Young
There's no doubt that Young has played better in recent weeks. However, the second-year quarterback will be a risky QB2 option in Week 14 against the Eagles. Philadelphia has given up the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing only three top-12 fantasy quarterback finishes since Week 5.
Chuba Hubbard is still the lead back in this Carolina offense, but he'll be a risky RB2 play in Week 14 against the Eagles. Philadelphia has given up the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing backs while not allowing a top-10 fantasy running back finish all season. Expectations should be tempered for Hubbard this week.
Panthers WRs
All Panthers wide receivers will be risky flex plays in Week 14. The Eagles have given up the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts and the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing slot wideouts since Week 8. Adam Thielen, Jalen Coker, and Xavier Legette will all be downgraded. Thielen, though, will be the highest-ranked Carolina wideout in this game after his 99-yard performance last week.
Other Matchups:
WR A.J. Brown
A.J. Brown will come in as a strong WR1 option in Week 14 against the Panthers. Mike Evans just torched this Carolina secondary for 118 yards a week ago, and Brown has totaled at least 65 receiving yards in all eight of his full games this season. Make sure to keep him in lineups this weekend.
DeVonta Smith will be back in Week 14 after missing the past two games due to a hamstring injury. However, he'll come in as more of a WR3 in Week 14 against the Panthers. Smith was trending down in fantasy before his hamstring injury, scoring less than seven PPR fantasy points in three of his past five games. But he does have some potential in this game against a Panthers defense that has allowed 11 receiving touchdowns this year.
Injuries:
- Dallas Goedert (knee)
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans
Spread: Titans -3.5
Matchups We Love:
QB Will Levis
Will Levis has put up solid fantasy numbers since returning from injury in Week 10. He has scored at least 16 fantasy points in four straight games while throwing seven passing touchdowns during that span. Now, he gets a fantastic matchup at home against a Jaguars defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. Levis is a sneaky QB2 play this weekend.
RB Tony Pollard
Tony Pollard has scored under 10 PPR fantasy points in two of the past three games. However, he'll be a strong RB2 option in Week 14 against the Jaguars. Jacksonville has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing a top-8 fantasy running back in six of the past eight weeks.
Calvin Ridley will play against his former team on Sunday, and this is a great matchup for the Titans wideout. Jacksonville has given up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, and this secondary has allowed three different wideouts to finish with over 115 receiving yards over the last two games. Ridley will be a solid WR2 play in Week 14.
Matchups We Hate:
TE Evan Engram
Evan Engram continues to have a high fantasy floor each week in PPR formats. He has caught at least five passes in four straight games. However, he might be a sit in half-PPR or standard leagues this week against the Titans. Engram hasn't topped over 45 receiving yards since Week 6, and this Tennessee secondary has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season.
Other Matchups:
QB Mac Jones
With Trevor Lawrence (concussion) placed on injured reserve, Mac Jones will be the team's starter for the rest of the year. However, Jones should only be started in deeper Superflex leagues this weekend. Even though the Titans have allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three of the past four games, this defense is allowing the fewest pass yards per game this season.
Jaguars RBs
Travis Etienne Jr. and Tank Bigsby will both be low-end flex plays in Week 14 against the Titans. Although Tennessee allowed two top-16 fantasy running backs last week, this defense has been able to stop plenty of running backs on the ground in recent weeks. Joe Mixon, Aaron Jones, J.K. Dobbins, Rhamondre Stevenson, and David Montgomery have all totaled under 60 rushing yards against it since Week 8.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is on a historic run in fantasy right now. The fifth-year wideout has scored eight touchdowns over the past eight games, including two in last week's loss. Even though Westbrook-Ikhine has caught three passes or fewer in seven of those eight weeks, he will be a potential flex play due to his touchdown upside this week. The Jaguars have also allowed the most fantasy points per game to the position this year.
WR Brian Thomas Jr.
Even with Lawrence landing on injured reserve, Brian Thomas Jr. will still be a low-end WR2 this weekend against the Titans. Tennessee allowed over 20 PPR fantasy points to both Terry McLaurin and Nico Collins across the past two games. With the rookie also seeing a career-high 10 targets last week, he is a solid start against a banged-up Tennessee secondary.
Parker Washington had the best game of his young career last week, catching six passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. With Christian Kirk (collarbone) and Gabe Davis (knee) out for the season, Washington has stepped into that WR2 role in this Jacksonville offense. However, he should only be a flex option in deeper leagues this weekend. The second-year wideout only had 10 catches in the first 12 weeks of the season.
Injuries:
- Trevor Lawrence (concussion)
- Christian Kirk (collarbone)
- Gabe Davis (knee)
New York Jets at Miami Dolphins
Spread: Dolphins -6
Matchups We Love:
None
Matchups We Hate:
There's a chance that the Jets decide to sit Aaron Rodgers at some point down the stretch. For now, though, Rodgers will start for New York and be a low-end QB2 option in Week 14 against the Dolphins. Miami has given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing only two top-12 fantasy quarterbacks this season.
After playing in cold conditions last week, Tua Tagovailoa will be back home in Miami for Sunday's game against the Jets. However, Tagovailoa will be more of a high-end QB2 in Week 14. The Dolphins quarterback has thrown six touchdown passes to five interceptions in his last four starts against New York while averaging only 234 passing yards per game. This Jets secondary has also allowed only nine passing touchdowns all season.
Dolphins WRs
Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle will both have tough matchups in Week 14. The Jets have allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and this secondary has allowed only seven receiving touchdowns all season. As a result, Hill will be more of a WR2 play this week after totaling 20.3 PPR fantasy points in Week 13, while Waddle will be more of a low-end flex play following another poor showing last week.
Other Matchups:
RB Breece Hall
Breece Hall played a season-low 62% of the team's offensive snaps last week, as he dealt with a knee injury entering the contest. But he'll remain a solid start in most formats in Week 14 against the Dolphins. Although Miami has allowed only one top-12 fantasy running back since Week 6, this defense has allowed at least three catches to five different running backs over the last five games.
Update: Hall is out for Week 14. Braelon Allen will likely start and will be a low-end RB2 play this weekend.
De'Von Achane should continue to be in lineups this week as a strong RB1 play. Achane has caught at least four passes in five of the past six games and has scored seven total touchdowns since Week 7. Now, he goes up against a Jets defense that has allowed over 16.5 PPR fantasy points to three running backs over the past five games.
WR Davante Adams
Adams had a strong fantasy day last week, finishing as the WR18 in PPR formats. The veteran has now caught at least five passes in four straight games. As a result, he'll continue to be a solid WR2 play in most leagues this weekend. Even though the Dolphins have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points per game to the position, this secondary has allowed some big games to Marvin Harrison Jr. and Puka Nacua in recent weeks.
Garrett Wilson appears to be trending down in fantasy. Although the young wideout has seen at least eight targets in four of the past five games, he is averaging only eight PPR fantasy points over the last three weeks. With Wilson going up against this tough Dolphins secondary, he'll be a low-end WR2 option in Week 14. Miami has given up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this season.
TE Jonnu Smith
Jonnu Smith has totaled over 20 PPR fantasy points in three straight games and will remain a strong TE1 option in Week 14 against the Jets. Although New York has only allowed one top-14 fantasy tight-end finish since Week 7, it's just hard to sit Smith in fantasy this week. He is averaging 8.33 catches and 100.33 receiving yards per game over the last three weeks.
Injuries:
- Breece Hall (knee)
Matchup Analysis - Sunday Afternoon Games
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
Spread: Cardinals -2.5
Matchups We Love:
Although Jaxon Smith-Njigba saw only four targets last week, the second-year wideout did total over 70 receiving yards for the fourth straight game. As a result, he'll be a solid WR2 play in Week 14 against the Cardinals. Arizona has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing slot wideouts since Week 8, and Smith-Njigba just scored 19.7 PPR fantasy points against this secondary two weeks ago.
TE Trey McBride
Trey McBride will continue to be a strong TE1 play in Week 14 against the Seahawks. McBride has caught 12 passes in back-to-back games, which included a 12-catch, 133-yard performance two weeks ago against this Seattle secondary. Make sure to keep the Cardinals playmaker in your lineups this week.
Matchups We Hate:
QB Kyler Murray
Kyler Murray struggled against this Seahawks defense the last time he faced them back in Week 12. Murray scored only 11.3 fantasy points and only ran two times for nine yards. As a result, he'll come in as a risky QB1 play this weekend. Seattle hasn't allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in six straight games.
Other Matchups:
QB Geno Smith
Geno Smith has been more of a QB2 option in fantasy in recent weeks, as the veteran has finished outside the top 20 at the position in three straight games. So, he'll come in as a QB2 play in Superflex formats this weekend. The Cardinals have only allowed one top-12 fantasy quarterback since Week 7.
Kenneth Walker III hasn't been as strong of a fantasy option in recent weeks, scoring under 14 PPR fantasy points in five straight games. However, Walker will come in as a middle-of-the-pack RB2 play in Week 14 against the Cardinals. Arizona hasn't allowed more than 14.5 PPR fantasy points to a running back in four straight games.
Update: Walker is out for Sunday's game. Zach Charbonnet will be a solid RB2 option in Week 14.
RB James Conner
James Conner struggled on the ground against the Seahawks back in Week 12, rushing only seven times for eight yards. But he will still come in as a solid RB2 option in Week 14. Opposing running backs are averaging over 4.8 yards per carry against this defense this year, and eight different running backs have totaled over 75 rush yards against them in 2024.
WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison saw a career-high 12 targets last week, which helped him score 17 PPR fantasy points. That was the most fantasy points he has scored since Week 8. In Week 14, though, Harrison will be a high-end WR3 option against the Seahawks. The rookie didn't do much against this Seattle secondary the last time he faced it, but the good news is that this defense has allowed 11 top-20 fantasy wide receiver finishes since Week 4.
WR DK Metcalf
DK Metcalf had a tough matchup last week against the Jets secondary and only managed to score 10.6 PPR fantasy points. Although things don't get easier for him against a Cardinals secondary that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to outside wide receivers since Week 8, Metcalf will be a solid WR2 play this weekend. Justin Jefferson just totaled 99 yards on the outside against this defense a week ago.
Injuries:
- Kenneth Walker III (ankle/calf)
Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams
Spread: Bills -5
Matchups We Love:
Kyren Williams had his best rushing day of the season last week, running for a season-high 104 yards on only 15 carries. Now, he has another great matchup on deck against the Bills. Buffalo is giving up over 4.7 yards per carry to opposing backs this season while allowing the most receptions to running backs. Williams will be a strong RB1 play this weekend.
RB James Cook
After scoring another touchdown last week, James Cook has now scored eight touchdowns over the last seven games. He'll continue to be a solid RB2 play in Week 14 against the Rams. Los Angeles has given up the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing the fifth-most rush yards per game.
There's a good chance that Dalton Kincaid returns in Week 14 after missing the past two games due to a knee injury. If he does, Kincaid will be a low-end TE1 in a great matchup against the Rams. Los Angeles has given up the seventh-most fantasy points per game to the position, and five different tight ends have caught at least four passes against this secondary over the past three games.
Update: Kincaid is listed as questionable for Week 14.
Matchups We Hate:
Since Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have returned in Week 8, Matthew Stafford is the QB8 in fantasy. However, the veteran quarterback has a tough matchup in Week 14 against the Bills. Buffalo has given up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to the position while allowing only one top-12 fantasy quarterback finish all season. Stafford will be more of a QB2 option this weekend.
Other Matchups:
QB Josh Allen
Josh Allen will remain a must-start quarterback option in Week 14 against the Rams. Allen has finished with over 20 fantasy points in seven straight games and just scored 28.4 fantasy points last week behind two passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown, and one receiving touchdown. Keep him in lineups this weekend.
Rams WRs
This matchup against the Bills secondary isn't the best for both Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. The Bills have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, and only two wide receivers have totaled over 85 receiving yards against this secondary in a game this season. Still, both Nacua and Kupp are WR1s this week. Both wideouts have scored at least 15 PPR points in four of the past five games.
WR Amari Cooper
Everyone believed that Amari Cooper was going to be a fantasy star in this Buffalo offense when he was traded back in Week 7. However, Cooper has scored under six PPR fantasy points in three straight contests and has yet to play more than 55% of the team's offensive snaps in a game. As a result, he will be a risky flex play in Week 14.
Khalil Shakir has scored under 10 PPR fantasy points in only two games this season. Therefore, fantasy managers can continue to play him as a high-floor WR3 option in Week 14 against the Rams. Los Angeles has allowed 12.9 PPR fantasy points per game to slot wideouts over the last six weeks.
Injuries:
- Dalton Kincaid (knee)
Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers
Spread: 49ers -4.5
Matchups We Love:
With Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) on injured reserve, Isaac Guerendo is the next man up in this San Francisco backfield. Guerendo hasn't seen many opportunities on offense this season, but he has thrived in his limited touches.
In Week 6 against the Seahawks, he rushed 10 times for 99 yards. Then, in Week 8, he rushed 14 times for 85 yards and one touchdown. He's a strong RB2 play this week against a Bears defense that has allowed 70-plus rush yards to six different running backs over the last four games.
D'Andre Swift has popped up on the injury report with a quad injury and has yet to practice his week. But assuming he can suit up, he will be a solid RB2 option against the 49ers. San Francisco has given up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season and has allowed 14 rushing touchdowns (tied for the second most in the NFL).
Update: Swift is listed as questionable for Week 14 due to quad injury.
Matchups We Hate:
QB Brock Purdy
Brock Purdy will come into this week's matchup against the Bears as a low-end QB1 option. Chicago has given up the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season, and only three quarterbacks have thrown for multiple touchdown passes in a game against this secondary. Given that Purdy's shoulder is still not 100%, either, he will be a risky option in Week 14.
49ers WRs
It's going to be tough to trust Jauan Jennings and Deebo Samuel Sr. in fantasy this week. The Bears have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, which doesn't bode well for either wideout.
Jennings will likely be matched up against Jaylon Johnson for most of this game, and Johnson just held Justin Jefferson to only 27 receiving yards two weeks ago. So, he'll be a risky WR2 option in Week 14. As for Samuel, he's more of a WR3 play this weekend. He has scored under 6.5 PPR fantasy points in three straight games.
WR Keenan Allen
Keenan Allen has been more involved since the Bears fired their offensive coordinator (Shane Waldron). Allen has scored above 23 PPR fantasy points in back-to-back games. However, he has a tougher matchup in Week 14 against the 49ers. San Francisco has allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to slot wideouts since Week 8. The veteran might be more of a high-end WR3 play in Week 14.
TE Cole Kmet
Fantasy managers shouldn't be looking to start Cole Kmet in Week 14. He has caught three passes or fewer in five of the past six games and has finished outside the top 30 at the position in four of those contests. Now, he gets a matchup against a 49ers defense that hasn't allowed a top-12 fantasy tight end since Week 6. Kmet should only be an option in extremely deep leagues.
Other Matchups:
Since Shane Waldron was fired as the team's offensive coordinator, Caleb Williams has finished as the QB4 and QB5 against two solid defenses. However, he'll be more of a QB2 play this weekend against the 49ers. San Francisco has allowed only one top-14 fantasy quarterback finish over the last seven games.
WR DJ Moore
Moore has scored 20-plus PPR fantasy points in back-to-back games and just saw a season-high 16 targets in last week's loss. As a result, he will be a solid WR2 option in Week 14 against the 49ers. Wideouts like DK Metcalf (70 yards) and CeeDee Lamb (146 yards and two touchdowns) have had solid fantasy days against this secondary in recent weeks.
Update: Moore is listed as questionable for Week 14 due to quad injury.
WR Rome Odunze
Rome Odunze has been the clear WR3 in this offense in recent weeks, but he still has some flex value in 12-plus team leagues this weekend against the 49ers. Odunze has seen 26 targets over the last three games while playing at least 75% of the team's offensive snaps in 11 of 12 games this season. With six teams on bye this week, the rookie can be a solid start in some formats.
George Kittle didn't finish as a top-10 fantasy tight end last week for the first time all season. But he'll remain a strong TE1 option in Week 14 against the Bears. Chicago has allowed over 15 PPR fantasy points to the position in back-to-back games, and Sam LaPorta just reeled in two touchdown passes against this secondary a week ago.
Injuries:
- D'Andre Swift (quad)
- DJ Moore (quad)
- Roschon Johnson (concussion)
Matchup Analysis - Sunday Night Football
Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
Spread: Chiefs -3.5
Matchups We Love:
At this point, Ladd McConkey needs to be in lineups every week moving forward. The rookie has totaled over 80 receiving yards in three straight games and is coming off a career-high nine-catch performance a week ago. Now, he gets a solid matchup against a Chiefs secondary that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to slot wideouts over the last six weeks. McConkey is a strong WR2 option in Week 14.
Update: McConkey is listed questionable for Sunday's game due to a shoulder/knee injury.
TE Will Dissly
Will Dissly didn't catch a pass last week, but he'll remain a low-end TE1 in Week 14. Dissly has caught at least four passes in six of the past eight games and will go up against a Chiefs defense that has struggled to stop opposing tight ends this season. Kansas City has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, and Brock Bowers just scored 30.2 PPR fantasy points against this secondary last week.
Matchups We Hate:
RB Gus Edwards
With J.K. Dobbins (knee) on injured reserve, Gus Edwards will lead this backfield for the time being. Last week, Edwards played 52% of the team's offensive snaps but only saw seven touches in the contest. Now, the veteran will face a Chiefs defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. He should only be started in desperate situations this weekend.
Quentin Johnston will be a risky flex play in deeper leagues this weekend. Johnston has caught two passes or fewer in four straight games, and this matchup against the Chiefs secondary doesn't benefit him. Kansas City has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to outside wide receivers over the past six weeks.
Other Matchups:
QB Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes will come in as a low-end QB1 option in Week 14 against the Chargers. Los Angeles has allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three of the past four games, including a 19.1 fantasy point game from Will Levis in Week 10. Given that Mahomes has thrown 13 passing touchdowns since Week 8, he has some QB1 appeal in 12-plus team leagues this weekend.
Justin Herbert hasn't thrown a touchdown in back-to-back games, but he'll be a low-end QB1 play in Week 14 against the Chiefs. Kansas City has allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in four straight games, and Aidan O'Connell just threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns against this secondary a week ago. Herbert can be started in most 12-plus team leagues this weekend.
Chiefs RBs
Both Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco will be risky flex plays in Week 14. Although Los Angeles has allowed four top-16 fantasy running back finishes over the last three weeks, it might be too hard to rely on either back this weekend. Hunt played 38% of the team's offensive snaps last week, while Pacheco played 37% of the snaps. Both of these backs will likely see between seven and 12 touches in this game, making them risky options.
WR DeAndre Hopkins
It was encouraging that Hopkins saw nine targets and totaled a season-high 90 receiving yards in last week's win. But he is still playing under 60% of the team's offensive snaps and has caught four passes or fewer in three of the past four games. Still, the veteran could be a potential flex option this weekend against a Chargers defense that has allowed at least 75 receiving yards to six different wideouts since Week 9.
Xavier Worthy has been more involved in recent weeks, catching at least four passes in three straight games. However, Worthy will remain a boom-or-bust flex option in Week 14 against the Chargers. The rookie has just a 12.6% target share since Week 9.
TE Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce will continue to be a strong TE1 option in Week 14 against the Chargers. Kelce has scored above 12 PPR fantasy points in five of the past six games and caught seven passes for 89 yards earlier in the year against this Los Angeles secondary. He should remain in lineups this weekend.
Injuries:
- Ladd McConkey (shoulder/knee)
Matchups Analysis - Monday Night Football
Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys
Spread: Bengals -5
Matchups We Love:
QB Joe Burrow
Joe Burrow could be in for a big fantasy day in Week 14 against the Cowboys. Dallas has given up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to the position while allowing five different quarterbacks to score over 25 fantasy points in a game this season. Burrow will be a strong QB1 option this weekend.
QB Cooper Rush
Cooper Rush will be a solid QB2 option in Week 14 against a Bengals defense that has given up the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season. Cincinnati has allowed a top-10 fantasy quarterback in three straight games, and Russell Wilson just passed for 414 yards against this secondary a week ago. Rush does have some fantasy value in Superflex formats this weekend.
RB Chase Brown
Despite only seeing 16 touches in last week's loss, Chase Brown still finished as a top-12 fantasy running back for the fourth straight week. As a result, he'll continue to be a solid RB1 play for fantasy managers in Week 14. The Cowboys have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season.
Bengals WRs
Both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are must-starts in Week 14 against the Cowboys. Dallas has allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and both Chase and Higgins rank top-3 in fantasy points per game this season. Make sure to get both wideouts in your lineups on Monday night.
Jake Ferguson will return in Week 14 after missing the past two games due to a concussion, and he has a great matchup on deck against the Bengals. Cincinnati has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season while allowing a top-6 fantasy tight end in four straight games. Ferguson is a solid TE1 option this weekend.
Matchups We Hate:
None
Other Matchups:
RB Rico Dowdle
Rico Dowdle had his best game of the season last week, rushing for 112 yards and one touchdown. Dowdle is the clear RB1 in this Dallas offense, and he'll be a low-end RB2 in Week 14 against the Bengals. Cincinnati has allowed five rushing touchdowns over the last four games and just allowed Pittsburgh running backs to catch 13 passes a week ago. Dowdle also has some receiving upside in this game.
WR CeeDee Lamb
CeeDee Lamb only caught two passes in last week's win, but he'll still be a low-end WR1 option in Week 14 against the Bengals. Cincinnati has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season, and Lamb has caught at least eight passes in two of the past three weeks. In a game that has a high over/under (49.5), the All-Pro wideout should be in most lineups this week.
