Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - Week 13 Matchups Analysis

Joe Mixon - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, NFL Injury News

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another start'em and sit'em piece as we look ahead to Week 13! After six teams were on a bye last week, no teams will have a bye during Thanksgiving week. This Week 13 matchups analysis and Start 'Em, Sit 'Em piece will surely help you make the right lineup decisions in a must-win week for most fantasy managers.

Last week, players like Aaron JonesJaxon Smith-Njigba, and De'Von Achane made the love list. Jones finished as the RB7, Smith-Njigba finished as the WR13, and Achane finished as the RB6.

So, let's dive into every Week 13 game (Sunday through Monday) and analyze the best starts and sits. This article will go through every player in every game to determine which players you should be starting in fantasy this weekend.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024:

Matchups Analysis - Sunday 1:00 EST Games

Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots

Spread: Colts -2.5

Matchups We Love:

RB Jonathan Taylor

It has been a couple of rough weeks for Jonathan Taylor in fantasy, as he has scored under 15 PPR fantasy points in four straight games. But expect him to bounce back in Week 13 against the Patriots. Nine different running backs have rushed for over 75 yards against New England this year, and this defense has allowed a top-12 fantasy running back in seven of the past 11 weeks. Taylor is a strong RB1 option this weekend.

RB Rhamondre Stevenson

With New England trailing for most of last week's game, Rhamondre Stevenson played a season-low 42% of the team's offensive snaps. However, a better game should be in store for him in Week 13 against the Colts. Indianapolis has given up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing five top-12 running backs finishes over the last five weeks. Stevenson will be an RB2 option.

TE Hunter Henry

Hunter Henry continues to be a consistent TE1 option for fantasy managers, scoring at least 9.4 fantasy points in six of the past seven weeks. Now, he gets a great matchup in Week 13 against the Colts. Indianapolis has given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends while allowing 6.3 catches and 60.4 receiving yards per game to the position this year. Henry will be a TE1 play this weekend.

Matchups We Hate:

WR Michael Pittman Jr.

With no teams on bye this week, it's likely best to sit Michael Pittman Jr. in most leagues. Although he is coming off one of his most productive games of the season -- catching six passes for 96 yards -- he will likely be shadowed by Christian Gonzalez in this game. Gonzalez has allowed only 38 catches in coverage all year, and his 78.4 passer rating allowed ranks extremely well. Pittman will be a risky flex option in Week 13.

Other Matchups:

QB Drake Maye

Drake Maye has put up solid fantasy numbers since taking over as the Patriots quarterback. In his six full starts, the rookie has finished inside the top 18 at the position in all six contests. As a result, he'll be a strong QB2 option in Week 13 against the Colts. Indianapolis has allowed over 16 fantasy points to seven different quarterbacks this season, including in three of the past four weeks.

QB Anthony Richardson

Despite scoring only 12.98 fantasy points in last week's loss, there are reasons to be optimistic about Anthony Richardson's rest of season fantasy value. He has seen at least 10 carries in back-to-back games, and the Colts are designing more runs for him. Therefore, Richardson will be a high-end QB2 play in Week 13 against a Patriots defense that has allowed 12 passing touchdowns over the last five games.

WR DeMario Douglas

DeMario Douglas continues to be a high-floor fantasy option. Douglas has scored at least nine PPR fantasy points in four straight games while seeing at least six targets in three of those four weeks. In Week 13 against the Colts, he will remain a potential flex play in 12-plus team leagues. Indianapolis has allowed 10.6 PPR fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this year.

Update: Douglas is questionable due to an ankle injury.

Injuries:

  • Josh Downs (shoulder)
  • DeMario Douglas (ankle)
  • Alec Pierce (foot)

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals

Spread: Bengals -3

Matchups We Love:

QB Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson has scored less than 14 fantasy points in three of the past four games. However, he has the potential to be a strong QB2 option in Week 13. Cincinnati has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game and the most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Bengals have also allowed 290 pass yards and two passing touchdowns in consecutive games.

TE Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth caught four passes for a season-high 59 yards in last week's loss, and he can be a potential TE1 option in deeper leagues this weekend against the Bengals. Cincinnati has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends while allowing a top-6 fantasy tight end in four of the past five weeks. Freiermuth has some sneaky value in Week 13.

Matchups We Hate:

QB Joe Burrow

Joe Burrow will still come in as a QB1 option in Week 13 against the Steelers, but this is a tough matchup for the Pro Bowl quarterback. The Steelers have given up the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and have not allowed a top-12 quarterback through 12 weeks. Still, Burrow should be in most lineups this week, considering he has scored at least 29 fantasy points in three straight games.

RB Najee Harris

Najee Harris will be a risky RB2 option in Week 13. Not only has Harris played fewer than 50% of the team's offensive snaps in four of the past six games, but this matchup is a tough one for him against the Bengals. Cincinnati is allowing only 4.1 yards per carry on the ground this year, and only one running back has rushed for more than 70 yards against this defense since Week 6.

Other Matchups:

RB Chase Brown

In three games since Zack Moss (neck) went on injured reserve, Chase Brown has played at least 80% of the team's offensive snaps in every game while averaging 27 touches per game. As a result, he will be a low-end RB1 against a Steelers defense that has allowed a top-12 fantasy running back in four of the past five games.

WR George Pickens

George Pickens didn't do much in a snowy Thursday night game last week. However, fantasy managers should start him with confidence this week against the Bengals. Cincinnati has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and outside wideouts like Jakobi Meyers (105 yards), Rashod Bateman (17.4 PPR fantasy points), and Cedric Tillman (81 yards) have had big games against this secondary in recent weeks.

WR Ja'Marr Chase

Ja'Marr Chase will continue to be a strong WR1 option in Week 13 against the Steelers. Although Chase will likely see the Joey Porter Jr. shadow in this game, that isn't going to matter much for his fantasy value this weekend. He has finished as a top-12 fantasy wideout in six of the past nine weeks.

WR Tee Higgins

Tee Higgins will come in as a strong WR2 against the Steelers this weekend. He is coming off a nine-catch, 148-yard, one-touchdown performance back in Week 11 and is now averaging 18.5 PPR fantasy points per game on the year. With Higgins entering Week 13 with a 29% target share, he should be in all lineups this week.

Injuries:

None

Los Angeles Chargers at Atlanta Falcons

Spread: Chargers -2.5

Matchups We Love:

QB Justin Herbert

Justin Herbert has been a strong QB1 option in recent weeks, finishing as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in five straight games. Now, Herbert will go up against a Falcons defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Atlanta has also given up at least two passing touchdowns in seven straight games, making the Chargers signal-caller a strong start in Week 13.

Matchups We Hate:

TE Kyle Pitts

Kyle Pitts has been an inconsistent fantasy option, finishing with less than 10 PPR fantasy points in three straight games. Unfortunately, things don't get easier for him in Week 13 against the Chargers. Los Angeles has allowed only one top-12 fantasy tight-end finish since Week 5. Pitts is a low-end TE1 play this weekend.

Other Matchups:

QB Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins won't have an easy matchup in Week 13 against the Chargers. Although Los Angeles has allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three straight games, only one quarterback has thrown for more than 240 yards against this secondary since Week 5. Given that Cousins has also finished with less than 15 fantasy points in four of the past six games, he is more of a QB2 play this weekend.

RB Bijan Robinson

Bijan Robinson will remain a strong RB1 option in Week 13. Los Angeles has allowed 85-plus rush yards to three different rushing backs since Week 7, including Derrick Henry's 140 rush yards last week against it. Even though the Chargers have only allowed two rush touchdowns to the position all year, they are allowing over 4.7 yards per carry on the ground to opposing running backs. Start Robinson in Week 13.

Chargers RBs

J.K. Dobbins left last week's game early due to a knee injury, and he will miss this weekend's game against the Falcons. Gus Edwards should now be the team's lead back. However, Edwards will be a risky flex option in Week 13. He is only averaging 3.27 yards per carry this year to go with only one catch in the passing game. Therefore, he's an extremely touchdown-dependent play this week.

WR Quentin Johnston

Quentin Johnston had some bad drops in last week's loss, and he'll now likely draw the A.J. Terrell shadow on the outside in Week 13. While Terrell hasn't necessarily been a lockdown corner this season, it might be too hard to trust Johnston in this game. The second-year wideout has caught two passes or fewer in three straight games.

WR Drake London

Drake London has struggled to put up consistent fantasy numbers in recent weeks. He has finished outside the top 35 at the position in three of the past four games. However, London will still be a strong WR2 play in Week 13 against the Chargers. Los Angeles has allowed big fantasy days to wideouts like Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, and Cedric Tillman over the past month.

WR Darnell Mooney

Darnell Mooney suffered a hamstring injury before the Falcons' bye week in Week 11, but he will be good enough to suit up this weekend against the Chargers. Given Mooney's consistency in this Atlanta offense, he will be a low-end WR2 option in Week 13. He has totaled at least 85 receiving yards in three of the past four games.

WR Ladd McConkey

The first-year breakout is in store for Ladd McConkey. He has caught at least six passes and totaled at least 80 receiving yards in two straight games. As a result, he will be a safe WR2 option in Week 13 against the Falcons. Atlanta has given up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season.

TE Will Dissly

Will Dissly has become a reliable target for Herbert in the middle of the field. Dissly has caught at least four passes in six of the past seven games. As a result, he'll be a low-end TE1 option in deeper leagues this weekend against a Falcons defense that has allowed at least four catches to four different tight ends since Week 6.

Injuries:

  • J.K. Dobbins (knee)

Seattle Seahawks at New York Jets

Spread: Seahawks -2

Matchups We Love:

None

Matchups We Hate:

QB Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers should only be an option in Superflex formats this week. He has scored under 16.5 fantasy points in two straight games, and this Seattle secondary has allowed only six passing touchdowns over the last five games. It might be hard to trust Rodgers in most formats this weekend.

WR DK Metcalf

DK Metcalf has a tough matchup ahead against the Jets secondary in Week 13. New York has given up the fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and Metcalf has scored under 15 PPR fantasy points in four of the past five games. While the Seahawks wideout will still come in as a WR2 play this weekend, expectations should be tempered.

Other Matchups:

QB Geno Smith

After a strong start to the year, Geno Smith has cooled off a bit in fantasy. As a result, he'll be a high-end QB2 option in Week 13 against the Jets. New York has been one of the better defenses at defending the pass this season, as this unit has allowed only eight passing touchdowns all year. However, this defense has also allowed seven rushing touchdowns to the position over the last six games. Smith has some fantasy potential.

RB Kenneth Walker III

Kenneth Walker III should remain in lineups this week. Although Walker is averaging only 3.82 yards per carry this year, his usage in the passing game will continue to make him a low-end RB1. The third-year running back has caught at least three passes in six of nine games this season. The Jets have also allowed at least 16 PPR fantasy points to five different running backs over the last six games.

RB Breece Hall

Breece Hall had his best game of the season back in Week 11 when he finished with 31.1 PPR fantasy points. While Hall has been somewhat of a disappointment for fantasy managers this year, he will continue to be a solid RB1 option in Week 13 against the Seahawks. Seattle is allowing the 10th-most rush yards per game this season.

Update: Hall is dealing with a knee injury and listed as questionable. If he misses, Braelon Allen would be a low-end RB2 option against the Seahawks.

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba

At this point, it's hard to sit Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He is the WR7 since Week 9 and has scored at least 19 PPR fantasy points in three straight games. Even though the matchup against the Jets is tough on paper, New York ranks middle of the pack against slot wideouts this season. Slot wideouts like Josh Downs (19.4 PPR fantasy points) have had success against this secondary this year. That makes Smith-Njigba a low-end WR2.

Jets WRs

Both Davante Adams and Garrett Wilson will come in as WR2 options in Week 13 against the Seahawks. There is an opportunity for both wideouts to have solid fantasy days this weekend. The Seahawks have allowed big games to wideouts like Jauan Jennings (25.1 PPR fantasy points), Demarcus Robinson (27.4 PPR fantasy points), and Keon Coleman (18 PPR fantasy points) in recent weeks.

Seattle has also allowed at least 16 PPR fantasy points to 11 different wide receivers since Week 4. That is certainly good news for both Adams and Wilson in this game.

Injuries:

  • Breece Hall (knee)

Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Spread: Texans -5

Matchups We Love:

QB C.J. Stroud

It has been tough to start C.J. Stroud in fantasy this year. He is currently the QB15 and has only finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback once since Week 5. However, Stroud will come in as a low-end QB1 option against the Jaguars in Week 13. Jacksonville has given up the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season while allowing a top-12 fantasy quarterback in nine of 11 games.

RB Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon struggled on the ground last week and finished outside the top 20 at the running back position for the first time since Week 2. However, expect Mixon to get back on track in Week 13 against the Jaguars. Jacksonville has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. Mixon will be a strong RB1 option this weekend.

WR Nico Collins

Nico Collins was back to his normal snap share last week and scored 20.2 PPR fantasy points. He should now remain in lineups as a strong WR1 option against the Jaguars secondary in Week 13. Jacksonville has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. Collins also scored 33.1 PPR fantasy points against this secondary back in Week 4.

WR Tank Dell

It has been hard to trust Tank Dell in fantasy for most of the year. Dell is averaging only 9.9 PPR fantasy points per game through 12 weeks and has failed to score more than 10.5 PPR fantasy points in three straight games. However, he'll be a potential flex option in a great matchup against the Jaguars. Jacksonville has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.

WR Brian Thomas Jr.

Brian Thomas Jr. scored 21.9 PPR fantasy points the last time he faced this Houston secondary back in Week 4, and he'll be a strong WR3 option in Week 13. The Texans have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. If Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) manages to play in this game, Thomas will move up to be a low-end WR2 play.

Matchups We Hate:

Jaguars RBs

Tank Bigsby (ankle) will be back in Week 13. Either way, though, both Travis Etienneand Bigsby are not strong plays in fantasy this weekend. Houston has given up the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing only two top-12 fantasy running backs finishes since Week 6. Both will be risky flex plays this weekend.

TE Evan Engram

Lawrence possibly returning helps Evan Engram's rest of the season fantasy value. However, this is a tough matchup for the Pro Bowl tight end in Week 13. The Texans have given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to the position, and only three tight ends have caught more than three passes against this defense this season. Still, Engram will be a TE1 play this weekend.

Other Matchups:

QB Trevor Lawrence

Lawrence has missed the past two games due to a shoulder injury. If he suits up in Week 13, though, he will be more of a QB2 option against the Texans. Houston has allowed at least 17 fantasy points to five different quarterbacks since Week 6, including 17 fantasy points to both Cooper Rush and Will Levis over the past two weeks. If Mac Jones starts in this game, though, he should only be an option in deeper Superflex leagues.

Update: Lawrence is questionable for Sunday's game but is expected to play.

TE Dalton Schultz

Given that Dalton Schultz hasn't scored in double figures in PPR formats this year, he should only be started in extremely deep leagues in Week 13 against the Jaguars. This matchup is a favorable one for Schultz, considering that Jacksonville has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends. But it's hard to start a tight end who has caught more than three passes in a game just once over the past month.

Injuries:

  • Trevor Lawrence (shoulder)

Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings

Spread: Vikings -3.5

Matchups We Love:

WR Marvin Harrison Jr.

Marvin Harrison Jr. has been hard to trust in fantasy lately. He has scored in double figures in PPR formats just twice since Week 5. However, this is a great matchup for Harrison to get going. The Vikings have given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, and both DJ Moore and Keenan Allen scored over 23 PPR fantasy points against this secondary last week. The rookie will be a solid flex play in Week 13.

Matchups We Hate:

RB James Conner

James Conner only ran the ball seven times in last week's loss, and things don't get easier for him in Week 13 against the Vikings. Minnesota has given up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs while allowing only three top-20 fantasy running backs all season. Conner will come in as a low-end RB2 option this weekend.

TE T.J. Hockenson

T.J. Hockenson enjoyed his best game of the season last week, catching seven passes for 114 yards. But Hockenson will now go up against a tough Cardinals defense that hasn't allowed many big games to fantasy tight ends this season. Arizona has allowed only one top-12 fantasy tight end since Week 6. As a result, the Vikings playmaker will be a low-end TE1 in Week 13.

Other Matchups:

QB Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray has finished outside the top 20 at the quarterback position in two of the past three games. However, he'll come in as a low-end QB1 against the Vikings this week. Minnesota just allowed Caleb Williams to finish as the QB4 a week ago, and this defense has let up a top-10 fantasy quarterback in three of the past six games.

QB Sam Darnold

Sam Darnold is trending up in fantasy heading into Week 13. He has finished as a top-10 fantasy quarterback in three of the past four games. However, this Arizona defense hasn't allowed a top-14 fantasy quarterback in five straight games, and opposing quarterbacks are averaging only 11.2 fantasy points against this secondary during that five-game span. Darnold is more of a QB2 option.

RB Aaron Jones

Jones is coming off one of his best rushing days of the season, totaling 106 yards to go with one touchdown. With a matchup against the Cardinals on deck, he'll be a solid RB2 play in Week 13. Arizona has given up the 11th-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season while allowing four top-18 fantasy running back finishes over the past four games.

WR Justin Jefferson

After a strong start to the season, Justin Jefferson has cooled off in fantasy. He has scored less than 15 PPR fantasy points in three straight games. However, you are still starting him as a strong WR1 play this week against the Cardinals. Jefferson has totaled at least 80 receiving yards in eight games this season.

WR Jordan Addison

Jordan Addison finished as the overall WR1 last week behind a 162-yard, one-touchdown performance against the Bears. The second-year wideout has now seen at least eight targets in back-to-back games, making him a potential flex option this weekend. Although the Cardinals have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game to outside wideouts, Addison's recent usage makes him a fine play in most 12-plus team leagues.

TE Trey McBride

Trey McBride will continue to be a strong TE1 option in Week 13 against the Vikings. Even though Minnesota has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season, McBride has been matchup-proof for most of the year. The Cardinals playmaker has scored in double figures in PPR formats in seven straight games.

Injuries:

None

Tennessee Titans at Washington Commanders

Spread: Commanders -5.5

Matchups We Love:

QB Will Levis

Since coming back from his shoulder injury, Levis has been a solid QB2 option for fantasy managers. He has scored above 16.5 PPR fantasy points in three straight games while finishing as a top-20 fantasy quarterback in all three weeks. He'll be a solid QB2 play in Superflex formats this week against a Commanders defense that has allowed 18 fantasy points to the position in four straight games.

RB Tony Pollard

Tony Pollard could be in for a strong game in Week 13 against the Commanders. Opposing running backs are averaging 5.03 yards per carry against Washington this year, and this defense has given up the fourth-most rush yards per game (145). Pollard will come in as a strong RB2 option this week. He just rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown in last week's win.

Matchups We Hate:

RB Brian Robinson Jr.

Brian Robinson Jr. left last week's game early after injuring his ankle. He will suit up in Week 13 and be a risky RB2 play against the Titans. Tennessee just held Joe Mixon to 22 rush yards a week ago, and this defense has held Mixon, Aaron Jones, J.K. Dobbins, and David Montgomery to under 55 rush yards in recent weeks.

Other Matchups:

QB Jayden Daniels

Jayden Daniels will come in as a solid QB1 option in Week 13 against the Titans. Tennessee has allowed at least 17 fantasy points to the position in four straight games, and quarterbacks like Drake Maye (95 rush yards) and Malik Willis (73 rush yards) have had big rushing days against this defense this year. Continue to keep Daniels in your lineup this week.

WR Calvin Ridley

Ridley has become a reliable fantasy option for fantasy managers in recent weeks, scoring at least 14 PPR fantasy points in three of the past five games. As a result, he'll come in as a low-end WR2 option in Week 13 against the Commanders. Washington has allowed a top-24 fantasy wide receiver in three of the past four games.

WR Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin's fantasy day was salvaged by a long touchdown late in last week's loss. However, he'll still come in as a solid WR2 in Week 13 against the Titans. Although Tennessee has allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, this defense allowed both Nico Collins and Tank Dell to finish with over 70 receiving yards in Week 12. With L'Jarius Sneed on injured reserve, McLaurin is a solid start.

WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

If you are in a deeper league, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine could be a potential flex option. Westbrook-Ikhine has scored a touchdown in six of the past seven games, which has helped him finish as a top-24 fantasy wideout in three of the past four weeks. Given that he has also seen at least five targets in consecutive games, he has some appeal in 14-plus team leagues this weekend.

TE Zach Ertz

Zach Ertz continues to be heavily involved in Washington's offense. He has seen at least seven targets in three straight games while finishing as a top-7 fantasy tight end in back-to-back weeks. Therefore, Ertz will come in as a low-end TE1 play in Week 13 against the Titans. Tennessee has allowed a top-14 fantasy tight end in three of the past five contests.

Injuries:

Matchup Analysis - Sunday Afternoon Games

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers

Spread: Buccaneers -6

Matchups We Love:

QB Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield didn't throw for a passing touchdown last week for the first time all year. However, he still finished with 18.7 fantasy points against the Giants. Now, he has a great matchup against the Panthers in Week 13. Carolina has given up the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing a top-12 fantasy quarterback in three of the past five weeks. Mayfield is a strong QB1 play.

QB Bryce Young

Bryce Young has played well in recent weeks but still hasn't scored above 17 fantasy points in any game this season. He has a chance to break that streak in Week 13 against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay has given up the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks while allowing a top-12 fantasy quarterback in eight of 11 games this season. Young will be a solid QB2 play in Superflex formats this weekend.

RB Bucky Irving

At this point, Bucky Irving is a must-start in Week 13 against the Panthers. Irving has finished as a top-10 fantasy running back in consecutive games and now goes up against a Panthers defense that has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. Given that Irving has seen at least 16 touches in back-to-back weeks, he's a strong RB2 play in a great matchup.

RB Rachaad White

Although Rachaad White played less than 50% of the team's offensive snaps last week, he will still be a low-end RB2 play in Week 13 against the Panthers. White has scored in double figures in PPR formats in five straight games, and Carolina has allowed the most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season.

RB Chuba Hubbard

Even with Jonathon Brooks back last week, Chuba Hubbard played a season-high 89% of the team's offensive snaps. Now, he has a great matchup against the Buccaneers in Week 13. Tampa Bay has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, and opposing backs are averaging almost 4.7 yards per carry against this defense this year. Hubbard is almost a must-start in Week 13.

TE Cade Otton

Cade Otton had a disappointing game last week, catching only one pass for 30 yards. But expect a better fantasy performance from Otton in Week 13 against the Panthers. Carolina has given up the most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season and just allowed both Noah Gray and Travis Kelce to finish top-12 at the position a week ago. As a result, Otton has some TE1 potential this weekend.

Matchups We Hate:

None

Other Matchups:

WR Mike Evans

The Buccaneers didn't need to throw a lot in last week's win, so Mike Evans didn't finish with elite fantasy numbers in his first game back. Evans caught only five passes for 68 yards en route to a WR28 finish. Although Tampa Bay might not need to pass a ton in this game, either, the 11-year veteran is still a solid WR2 play this weekend.

Panthers WRs

With Jalen Coker out for Week 13 due to a quad injury, Xavier LegetteAdam Thielen, and David Mooreshould all get a boost in the passing game. As a result, all three wideouts could be flex plays in deeper leagues. The Buccaneers have allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season.

Legette will be a flex option in 12-plus team leagues after seeing six targets last week. Thielen can be a flex play in 14-plus team leagues after totaling 8.7 PPR fantasy points last week, and Moore is a sneaky option in 14-plus team leagues against the Buccaneers following his 20.1 PPR fantasy points last week against the Chiefs.

Injuries:

Los Angeles Rams at New Orleans Saints

Spread: Rams -2.5

Matchups We Love:

RB Kyren Williams

Kyren Williams is certainly trending down in fantasy. He has finished outside the top 16 at the running back position in four straight games and isn't a factor in the passing game anymore. Williams has caught one pass or fewer in three of the past four weeks. However, he will be a solid RB1 play in Week 13 against a Saints defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season.

WR Puka Nacua

Puka Nacua seems to be Matthew Stafford's favorite target in the passing game. Nacua has finished with at least 18 PPR fantasy points in all four of the games he started and finished this season. Now, he gets a Saints secondary that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. Nacua is a strong WR1 play in Week 13.

WR Cooper Kupp

Cooper Kupp will continue to be a WR1 option for fantasy managers in Week 13. The Saints have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this season, and slot playmakers like Ladd McConkey and Chris Godwin have scored 29-plus PPR fantasy points against this secondary in 2024.

TE Taysom Hill

After what Taysom Hill did back in Week 11, it's hard to sit him this week against the Rams. Hill caught eight passes for 50 yards in that game while also running seven times for 138 yards and three touchdowns. He will be a solid TE1 play in Week 13. Los Angeles has given up the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, and running backs are averaging almost 4.6 yards per carry against it this year.

Matchups We Hate:

None

Other Matchups:

QB Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford has been a solid QB1 option since getting back both Kupp and Nacua. Stafford has scored above 18 fantasy points in four of his last five games. He will be a low-end QB1 play this week against the Saints. New Orleans has allowed over 300 passing yards in back-to-back games, and three different quarterbacks have scored at least 24 fantasy points against this secondary since Week 6.

QB Derek Carr

Derek Carr will come in as a solid QB2 play in Superflex formats this weekend. Although the Rams have allowed only one top-12 fantasy quarterback since Week 4, this secondary has given up at least 15 fantasy points to the position in four of the past five weeks. Given that Carr has thrown multiple touchdown passes in back-to-back games, he will be a middle-of-the-pack QB2 option in Week 13.

RB Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara will continue to be a strong RB1 play in Week 13 against the Rams. Los Angeles just allowed Saquon Barkley to score 46.2 PPR fantasy points last week, and this defense has given up at least four catches to three different running backs over the last three games. Keep Kamara in lineups.

WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Marquez Valdes-Scantling has scored over 16.5 PPR fantasy points in back-to-back games. However, he'll be a boom-or-bust flex option in deeper leagues this weekend against the Rams. Valdes-Scantling has caught only five passes over the past two games, so he'll be an extremely touchdown-dependent option in Week 13.

Injuries:

Philadelphia Eagles at Baltimore Ravens

Spread: Ravens -3

Matchups We Love:

QB Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts has a great matchup in Week 13 against the Ravens. Baltimore has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing a top-12 fantasy quarterback in six of the past eight games. As a result, Hurts will be a must-start option at the position this weekend.

Eagles WRs

A.J. Brown will continue to be a strong WR1 option in Week 13 against the Ravens. Baltimore has allowed the most fantasy points to wideouts this season, and Brown has totaled 100-plus receiving yards in two of the past three games. As for DeVonta Smith, he will be a WR3 option this week if he can play. Smith missed last week's game due to a hamstring injury, but this matchup against this secondary works in his favor.

Update: Smith is questionable for Sunday.

Matchups We Hate:

WR Zay Flowers

Zay Flowers has not put up solid fantasy numbers in recent weeks, as he has been held to under 12 PPR fantasy points in three straight games. Now, he has a tough matchup against an Eagles defense that has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this season. As a result, Flowers will be more of a WR3 play this weekend.

TE Mark Andrews

Mark Andrews has been a solid tight-end option since Week 6, scoring at least 14 PPR fantasy points in five of the past seven games. But this matchup against the Eagles isn't a great one for him in Week 13. Philadelphia has given up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends while allowing only three top-12 fantasy tight ends all season. Andrews will be a low-end TE1 in deeper leagues.

Other Matchups:

QB Lamar Jackson

Even though the Eagles have allowed only two top-12 fantasy quarterbacks since Week 5, Lamar Jackson will remain a strong QB1 option in Week 13. Jackson has finished as a top-6 fantasy quarterback in five of the past six weeks and currently ranks as the QB1 on the season.

RB Derrick Henry

Henry will continue to be a strong RB1 play in Week 13 against the Eagles. He has scored a touchdown in 10 of 11 games this season and just ran for 140 yards against a good Chargers defense last week. Even though Philadelphia has allowed only one top-12 fantasy running back this season, Henry should be in all lineups this weekend.

RB Saquon Barkley

Barkley has scored at least 32 PPR fantasy points in three of the past four games and will remain a strong RB1 option in Week 13 against the Ravens. Although Baltimore is allowing only 3.3 yards per carry on the ground this year, the Eagles back should still be in lineups this week.

TE Dallas Goedert

Dallas Goedert only scored 5.9 PPR fantasy points in last week's win. However, if DeVonta Smith were to miss again in Week 13, Goedert would be a low-end TE1 play against the Ravens. Baltimore has given up the 10th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season while allowing a top-12 tight end in four of the past seven weeks.

Injuries:

  • DeVonta Smith (hamstring)

Matchup Analysis - Sunday Night Football

San Francisco 49ers at Buffalo Bills

Spread: Bills -7

Matchups We Love:

RB Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey has surely struggled on the ground in his first three games of the season. He is averaging only 3.47 yards per carry and 13 PPR fantasy points per game. But this could be the week we see McCaffrey put up his usual big fantasy numbers. The Bills have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season, making the 49ers playmaker a must-start option.

RB James Cook

James Cook has been a touchdown machine for the Bills this season, scoring 11 touchdowns over the last nine games. With a matchup against the 49ers in Week 13, Cook will be a strong RB2 play. San Francisco has allowed five top-12 fantasy running back finishes over the last six games, and Josh Jacobs just finished with 28.6 PPR fantasy points against this defense last week.

Matchups We Hate:

QB Brock Purdy

It remains to be seen if Brock Purdy (shoulder) will play in Week 13. If he does, he will be a low-end QB1 option against a tough Bills secondary. Buffalo has given up the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and only one quarterback has finished as a top-12 option against this secondary this year. If Purdy can't go, then Brandon Allen should only be started in deeper Superflex leagues.

Update: Purdy is questionable for Sunday. However, he is expected to play.

WR Khalil Shakir

Khalil Shakir has been one of the more consistent wide receivers in fantasy this year, as he has scored between 10 and 15 PPR fantasy points in eight of 10 games. However, he'll be a riskier flex option in Week 13 against a 49ers defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to slot wideouts this season.

TE Dalton Kincaid

Dalton Kincaid has been dealing with a knee injury for a few weeks now, and he could miss this weekend's game against the 49ers. Even if he plays, though, he is a risky option. San Francisco has allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this year. If Kincaid were to miss, Dawson Knox should only be an option in extremely deep leagues.

Update: Kincaid will be out in Week 13 due to a knee injury.

Other Matchups:

QB Josh Allen

Josh Allen will return from the bye and continue to be a solid QB1 option in Week 13. Even though the 49ers have not allowed a top-14 fantasy quarterback in six straight games, Allen's rushing upside makes him a must-start in all lineups this week. He has rushed for at least 50 yards and a touchdown in back-to-back games.

49ers WRs

Whether you should play Deebo Samuel Sr. and Jauan Jennings this week will depend if Purdy can suit up. If he does, Samuel will come in as a high-end WR3. As for Jennings, he'll be a WR2 option after finishing with over 16 PPR fantasy points in both Week 10 and Week 11 with Purdy. If Allen starts for the 49ers this weekend, though, Samuel will be a risky flex play, while Jennings will fall to WR3 territory.

Update: Purdy is questionable for Sunday's game but is expected to play in Week 13. So, plan accordingly for both Samuel and Jennings.

WR Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper has not been a strong fantasy option since being traded to the Bills. He has played under 55% of the team's offensive snaps in all three games while catching only three passes combined over the last two contests. He will be a risky flex play in 12-plus team leagues this weekend against a 49ers defense that has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season.

TE George Kittle

George Kittle is the only tight end this year to finish top-10 in every game this season. As a result, he will continue to be a must-start option in Week 13 against the Bills. Even with Brandon Allen starting last week, Kittle reeled in six passes for 82 yards and one touchdown. He should be in all lineups this weekend.

Injuries:

  • Brock Purdy (shoulder)

Matchups Analysis - Monday Night Football

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos

Spread: Broncos -5

Matchups We Love:

WR Courtland Sutton

At this point, Courtland Sutton is a must-start in all formats this week. He is the WR3 in PPR formats over the last four weeks while finishing as a top-6 fantasy wide receiver in three of the past four games. Now, he gets a great matchup against the Browns secondary in Week 13. Cleveland has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to outside wideouts this season.

Matchups We Hate:

QB Jameis Winston

Jameis Winston will have a tough matchup against the Broncos this week. Denver has given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season while allowing only two quarterbacks to score more than 16 fantasy points since Week 2. Winston will be more of a QB2 play in Superflex formats.

RB Javonte Williams

With no teams on bye this week, Javonte Williams is just too risky to trust in fantasy. He rushed eight times for -2 yards in last week's win and finished with under three PPR fantasy points for the second in three weeks. On top of that, the Browns have allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs this season. That makes Williams a low-end flex play in Week 13.

WR Jerry Jeudy

It'll be interesting to see who Patrick Surtain II shadows in this game. There's a good chance that it will be Jerry Jeudy. Jeudy has totaled at least 70 receiving yards in four straight games, but with Surtain in coverage, the Browns wideout could struggle to put up solid fantasy numbers in Week 13. Quarterbacks have a 56.4 passer rating when targeting the Broncos corner in coverage this season. He'll be more of a high-end WR3 play.

TE David Njoku

David Njoku has a tough matchup in Week 13 against the Broncos. Despite scoring above 17 PPR fantasy points in three of the past five games, Njoku will be a riskier TE1 play on Monday. Denver has allowed only two tight ends to score above 10 PPR fantasy points this season.

Other Matchups:

QB Bo Nix

Bo Nix has finished as a top-12 fantasy quarterback in six of the past eight games. As a result, he has some QB1 potential in most leagues this week. Cleveland has given up the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks while allowing at least 18 fantasy points to the position in five of the past seven games. Given Nix's rushing potential, he can be a solid start in one-quarterback leagues again in Week 13.

RB Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb scored 19 fantasy points in last week's win, but he remains a touchdown-dependent flex option this weekend against the Broncos. Chubb is averaging only 4.9 PPR fantasy points in games he doesn't score, and Denver hasn't allowed a rushing touchdown in five of the past six games. He'll be a risky flex play in 12-plus team leagues.

WR Devaughn Vele

Devaughn Vele is certainly trending up in fantasy heading into Week 13. Vele saw a season-high nine targets in last week's win and scored in double figures in PPR formats for the third straight week. As a result, he has some potential in 12-plus team leagues on Monday against the Browns. Cleveland has allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season.

WR Cedric Tillman

Cedric Tillman is still in concussion protocol, so there's a chance that he will miss this week's game against the Broncos. If he suits up, though, he'll be a risky flex play in 12-plus team leagues against a Broncos secondary that has allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts this season. Tillman has also busted in back-to-back games, so he is no longer a must-start heading into Week 13.

Injuries:

  • Cedric Tillman (concussion)
