Giants vs. Steelers MNF Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - Russell Wilson, Daniel Jones, Najee Harris, George Pickens, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson

Malik Nabers - Fantasy Football Rankings, WR, Waiver Wire, NFL DFS, Rookies

If you have players set to play on Monday night, you can read our Monday Night Football matchups analysis article for the Giants vs. Steelers game to help make any fantasy football lineup decisions for both season-long and DFS.

The Week 8 edition of Monday Night Football isn't the most exciting matchup on paper, but there are several fantasy- and DFS-relevant players in this AFC vs. NFC showdown. The Giants desperately need a win, while Pittsburgh is looking to build momentum with Russell Wilson in his second start with the organization.

Let's waste no more time and dive into the fantasy football matchups for Russell Wilson, Daniel Jones, Najee Harris, George Pickens, Tyrone Tracy Jr., Malik Nabers, Wan'Dale Robinson, and more. Read our fantasy football breakdowns for this game -- the recommended starts, sits, and matchups we love heading into the Week 8 matchups. Good luck, RotoBallers!

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2024:

New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers

Spread: Steelers -6.5
Implied Total: Giants (15) vs. Steelers (21.5)

Matchups We Love

QB Russell Wilson

What a season debut it was for Russell Wilson last week. He threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 11 yards and one touchdown. With a great matchup upcoming against the Giants' secondary, Wilson will be a strong QB2 option in Superflex formats. New York has allowed a top-12 fantasy quarterback in four straight games.

WR George Pickens

With Wilson under center last week, George Pickens caught five passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. That helped him finish with 22.1 PPR fantasy points. Now, Pickens gets a great matchup against Deonte Banks outside. Banks will likely shadow the Steelers wideout on Monday, but he ranks 67th in yards per reception allowed, 78th in catch rate allowed, and 90th in passer rating allowed. So, Pickens is a high-end WR2 this week.

Matchups We Hate

QB Daniel Jones

Jones is not a strong start in Superflex formats this week. The Steelers have given up the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and have yet to allow a top-12 fantasy quarterback through seven weeks. So, it's better to go with another option in Superflex leagues in Week 8.

Giants RBs

Both Singletary and Tyrone Tracy Jr. will not be strong plays this week. Despite Tracy owning New York's backfield last week, the Steelers have been one of the better teams at defending the run this year. Pittsburgh has allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Therefore, the rookie is only a flex play in deeper formats in Week 8.

TE Pat Freiermuth

Despite Wilson starting last week, Freiermuth wasn't really involved. He saw only three targets and reeled in two of them for 51 yards. As a result, he is a riskier TE1 option in Week 8, especially against a Giants defense that has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends.

Other Matchups

RB Najee Harris

Harris has rushed for 100 yards in back-to-back games while finishing as the RB10 and RB17 in consecutive weeks. The bad news, though, is that Harris played under 50% of the team's offensive snaps in both weeks. Still, the 26-year-old is a solid RB2 option in Week 8 against a Giants defense that just allowed 176 rush yards to Barkley a week ago.

WR Malik Nabers

Malik Nabers will likely draw the Joey Porter Jr. shadow in this game. Porter has given up only 17 catches all year and currently ranks 23rd in target separation. However, Nabers has been too good this season to leave on your bench. So, even though the Steelers have allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts this season, the rookie is a must-start.

WR Wan'Dale Robinson

If you're looking for a high-floor flex option, Wan'Dale Robinson could be a great target. He has totaled at least 10 PPR fantasy points in five of seven games this season while seeing at least eight targets in each of the last five games. So, Robinson is a solid play in all formats in Week 8 against the Steelers.
