Will Dissly Injury Update
Dissly has battled a shoulder issue for weeks, so it wasn’t surprising to see his name on the injury report to begin the week. While he missed practice on Wednesday, he worked his way up to a full session on Friday.
With that in mind, the 28-year-old has only 26 catches this season. Even worse, he hasn’t found the end zone. With Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey also removed from the injury report, Justin Herbert will have two of his favorite targets.
Unfortunately, that probably won’t leave much room for Dissly to get involved against the Cleveland Browns.
Noah Fant Injury Update
Fant won’t suit up for the NFC West showdown versus the Los Angeles Rams because of a groin injury. However, just like Will Dissly, Fant hasn’t been a pivotal part of Seattle’s offense from a production standpoint.
#Seahawks have ruled DK Metcalf (knee) out for Sunday vs. Rams. Tight end Noah Fant also out with a new groin injury and Cameron Young out for second straight week with knee.

Granted, he’s had a few six-catch outings this season, and he could have seen more attention from Geno Smith in Week 9 with DK Metcalf sidelined.
Still, there aren't many fantasy managers who would have considered him for their lineups. The same will be true for AJ Barner and Pharaoh Brown, the No. 2 and No. 3 tight ends on the depth chart.
Dallas Goedert Injury Update
Goedert tweaked his hamstring in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns and has been on the shelf since. Most had expected him to sit out at least a few contests.
Yet, he’ll now miss his third consecutive contest. Grant Calcaterra should remain atop the depth chart while Goedert is out.
However, Calcaterra isn’t a consistent fantasy producer, although only a few at the position have been reliable. As such, he deserves some consideration for multi-tight end fantasy formats for the Week 9 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
T.J. Hockenson Injury Update
Hockenson was removed from the injury report and will make his 2024-25 debut against the Colts. The 2019 No. 8 overall pick is coming off the best season of his career, amassing 95 catches (127 targets) for 960 yards and five touchdowns.

Hockenson should see close to his pre-injury workload in Week 9. But even if he’s limited, he needs to be featured in all fantasy lineups.
