Week 15 began with the Rams earning a much-needed win over San Francisco. The 49ers’ offense couldn’t get anything going in that one, including George Kittle, who’s been a top fantasy tight end during the 2024-25 campaign. Speaking of tight ends, there are plenty of them on the injury report for one reason or another.
Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football. Now that the regular season has been in full swing, fantasy managers should stay locked into the latest injury headlines.

Will Dissly Injury Update
Dissly has had the best season of his career in his first with the Chargers, compiling 43 receptions for 418 yards and one touchdown. Unfortunately, he sustained a shoulder late in the AFC West showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night and now won’t suit up versus the Buccaneers.
The 28-year-old could have seen more attention if Ladd McConkey misses another game. Either way, Stone Smartt is on tap for more looks from Justin Herbert. But with only six catches this season, he’s hard to trust, even with a favorable meeting with the Bucs on the horizon.
Evan Engram Injury Update
As if the Jaguars season hasn’t been bad enough, the team announced that Evan Engram will require season-ending shoulder surgery. The 2017 No. 23 overall pick has been banged up all year, so, hopefully, he’ll be able to stay healthy once he is cleared to return next season.

In the meantime, Brenton Strange should see most of the work at the tight end spot in Sunday’s matchup with the New York Jets and beyond. Strange filled in for Engram earlier in the season and currently has 23 catches for 256 yards and two touchdowns. Although that kind of production doesn’t mean much, his upside is at least slightly higher than others taking over for an injured teammate in Week 15.
Juwan Johnson Injury Update
With Taysom Hill done for the rest of the year due to an unfortunate knee injury, Johnson and Foster Moreau will both receive more work. Johnson was limited for a few practices due to a foot issue.
But he’s good to go for the Week 15 meeting with the Washington Commanders. The 28-year-old had four grabs and a touchdown off four catches in the win over the New York Giants. He should remain included in the offense, giving him value in all fantasy setups, even with Derek Carr ruled out.
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update
Buffalo is coming off a loss to the Rams in Week 14. On a positive note, the team could get Kincaid back for Sunday’s showdown with the Lions after a three-game absence.
- #Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is questionable for Sun. Practicing today without non-contact jersey, brace/sleeve seen on left leg.
- S Taylor Rapp, DE Casey Toohill, S Damar Hamlin also questionable, all in red non-contact jerseys (couldn't get shot of Hamlin).#BillsMafia @WGRZ pic.twitter.com/NGaCyjbH8P

The 25-year-old finished his inaugural season with 73 catches last season. Yet, he is nowhere near that mark in 2024-25. Still, with Josh Allen under center, fantasy managers can consider Kincaid a starting fantasy option in most formats, assuming he plays, despite underperforming heading into his lengthy stint on the shelf.
Trey McBride Injury Update
McBride began the week by logging two limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday. However, he was a full-go on Friday and is now cleared to suit up in Week 15.

The third-year tight end out of Colorado State has been a productive fantasy producer this season, amassing 80 catches (106 targets) for 851 yards. But he doesn't have a touchdown. Without question, McBride’s lack of end zone trips this season has been a topic of discussion of late, so there’s a good chance Kyler Murray will give him some extra attention in Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots.
