After the Lions defeated the Packers in the Thursday night, NFC North showdown, Week 14 rolls on. As usual, there are more than a few tight ends appearing on the injury report, many of which won’t be on the field.

Jake Ferguson Injury Update
Ferguson suffered a concussion against the Texans back in Week 11. As a result, he hasn’t been on the field for the Cowboys’ previous two games.
But the 25-year-old practiced in full in the last two days, meaning he will likely be available for Monday Night Football versus the Bengals. Ferguson finished last season with five touchdowns.
Yet, he doesn’t have any during the 2024-25 campaign. With that in mind, the Bengals’ defense has struggled against opposing tight ends this season, so Ferguson has a great opportunity to finally get into the end zone.
Of course, if Ferguson is cleared, Luke Schoonmaker, who had 14 catches and a touchdown in the last three games, won’t be a safe fantasy option.
Dallas Goedert Injury Update
As expected, Goedert won’t play on Sunday versus the Panthers. Although he’s considered “week-to-week,” fantasy managers may not see him back on the field for a while.
Reed Blankenship (concussion), Dallas Goedert (knee), Sydney Brown (knee), and Britain Covey (neck) are ruled OUT for Sunday vs Carolina.

Without him, Grant Calcaterra will presumably move to the top of the depth chart. The 2022 No. 198 overall pick has only 17 receptions this season.
However, he has a place in any fantasy lineup versus a Carolina defense that’s arguably the worst in the National Football League.
Tyler Higbee Injury Update
Higbee is ramping things up after injuring his ACL and MCL in January. Unfortunately, fantasy managers won’t see him suit up in Week 14 versus Buffalo.
Sean McVay said Tyler Higbee and Emmanuel Forbes won’t play against Buffalo on Sunday.

On a positive note, there’s a good chance he may return when the Rams head to San Francisco for Thursday Night Football in Week 15. For now, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen will continue to handle things at the tight end spot.
Still, neither man is worth much from a fantasy standpoint, especially with Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and Kyren Williams on the field.
Dalton Kincaid Injury Update
The Bills have been on a roll. However, the team may be forced to continue to operate without Kincaid, who has missed the last two games and currently carries a questionable tag for Sunday’s game versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
Without question, he hasn’t met expectations. But it's tough to justify keeping Kincaid on the bench, considering Josh Allen has had an MVP-caliber season. If he isn’t out there, Dawson Knox, amassing two grabs for 56 yards in the Week 13 win over the 49ers, is worth streaming.
Juwan Johnson Injury Update
Johnson has been limited at practice all week. Fortunately, he doesn’t carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the New York Giants.
The former Oregon Duck has 30 catches for 313 yards and two touchdowns this season. But with Taysom Hill done for the remainder of the year, he has a chance to get more attention from Derek Carr.
Granted, Foster Moreau, who is also off the injury report, is in the equation. Yet, Johnson is a much safer option, even though he hasn’t logged as many snaps as Moreau.
