After watching the Browns hand the Steelers their third defeat of the year on Thursday night, Week 12 rolls on, with 12 games left on the schedule. Unlike previous weeks, there aren’t many tight ends carrying an injury designation heading into Sunday and Monday.

Noah Fant Injury Update
Fant has missed the Seahawks’ previous two games because of a groin injury. He didn’t practice on Wednesday but returned for a limited session on Thursday.
He also practiced in full on Friday, so it appears he’s trending in the right direction. The 27-year-old has only 27 catches for 285 yards this season, meaning there aren’t many fantasy managers waiting for an update.
His absence has at least allowed AJ Barner to get more involved, although truthfully, neither player is a safe fantasy option for Sunday’s meeting with the Arizona Cardinals.
Sam LaPorta Injury Update
LaPorta hasn’t played great throughout the 2024-25 campaign, which is surprising, considering Jared Goff is in the MVP conversation. The 2023 No. 32 overall pick finished his inaugural season by finding the end zone 10 times.
#Lions TE Sam LaPorta (shoulder) is off the injury report and good to go Sunday vs. the #Colts.

However, he only has three touchdowns this season. Still, LaPorta had at least five catches in three of his previous four games before missing the Week 11 massacre of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fortunately, he’s off the injury report and should be starting in all fantasy formats against a Colts’ defense that has struggled to stop opposing tight ends this season.
Jake Ferguson Injury Update
Unsurprisingly, Ferguson won’t play in Sunday’s NFC East battle with the Washington Commanders because of a concussion. His absence won’t have much of an impact on fantasy managers, especially since he has only 43 receptions this season.
Even worse, he doesn’t have a touchdown after amassing five in 2023-24. With Ferguson out of the equation, Luke Schoonmaker will slide to the top of the depth chart. The former Michigan Wolverine had six catches for 56 yards in the loss to the Houston Texans on Monday night.
Although that was a decent showing from Schoonmaker, he’s hard to trust, especially with Cooper Rush under center and CeeDee Lamb cleared to suit up.
George Kittle Injury Update
After missing the Week 11 matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, Kittle will play in Week 12 versus the Green Bay Packers. The 31-year-old has had a fantastic season, amassing 43 catches for 560 yards.
As expected, #49ers TE George Kittle (hamstring) does NOT have an injury designation and is cleared to go Sunday in Green Bay.
He was listed as a full participant on Friday after being limited previous two days.

He also has seven touchdowns, the second-highest mark of his career. Of course, Kittle is a must-start on Sunday, although he won’t have Brock Purdy throwing him the ball.
