Travis Kelce Injury Update
After Travis Kelce suffered a knee injury in practice earlier this week that was diagnosed as a "bone bruise", NFL Network's Ian Rapoport is reporting that Kelce will be out against the Detroit Lions for Thursday's season opener. It appears as though Kelce put forth a valiant effort in a workout this morning, but Kansas City will take the cautious route with their superstar tight end and hold him out of the first game of the NFL season.
Sources: #Chiefs star TE Travis Kelce is out tonight against the #Lions. He may give it another try before kickoff. Either way, the bone bruise should not keep him out long-term. pic.twitter.com/n2TZXBmZUS

Mark Andrews Injury Update
Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews (undisclosed) is expected to return to practice this week ahead of the Week 1 matchup with the Houston Texans. The Pro Bowler has missed the last several practices dating back to last week, but as long as he returns to the field soon, he should be good to go for Week 1.
Against an overmatched Texans roster, Andrews should be viewed as an elite fantasy option at the position. He'll have more target competition this year in Odell Beckham Jr. and Rashod Bateman, but he has established chemistry with Lamar Jackson and should not be mightily impacted by the new faces in the pass-catching group.
George Kittle Injury Update
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (adductor) is not practicing on Monday but he is working on the side in preparation for the Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Pro Bowler has been in and out of practice over the last two weeks with the injury, so fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status ahead of gameday.
If he misses Week 1, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and Christian McCaffrey could see additional targets. Charlie Woerner would start at tight end, but he won't be on the fantasy radar. If Kittle does suit up for the season opener, he's a must-start in all matchups.
