It’s a new week. However, there are some familiar faces carrying injury designations ahead of their respective games in Week 6.

Evan Engram Injury Update
Since last suiting up in Week 1, fantasy managers have been without Engram in their lineups. Will he ever get back on the field?
It’s tough to speculate, considering many believed he’d be back weeks ago. The veteran logged a limited practice on Wednesday, so he’s moving in the right direction, or at least it seems.
But if Engram misses the Week 6 meeting with the Chicago Bears, Brenton Strange will fill the hole in the lineup. The sophomore out of Penn State had a career-high four grabs in the win over the Colts.
He’s also found the end zone in two of the Jags’ previous three contests, giving him value in multi-tight end fantasy leagues.
George Kittle Injury Update
Kittle was limited on Monday and Tuesday. Yet, he practiced in full on Wednesday and doesn’t carry an injury designation ahead of Thursday’s divisional encounter with the Seattle Seahawks.

The veteran had eight receptions (12 targets) for 64 yards in the loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He’s also had a touchdown in each of his previous three appearances.
Keep starting him in all fantasy setups in Week 6, although that goes without saying.
David Njoku Injury Update
Njoku missed a few games because of an ankle injury but was finally back in the lineup versus the Commanders. He had only one catch for 14 yards.

Even worse, the 28-year-old suffered a knee injury, keeping him off the practice field on Wednesday. At this point, fantasy managers have given up on anyone associated with the Browns’ offense, so his availability for Week 6 against the Eagles isn’t much of a concern.
Still, if Njoku is out again, Jordan Akins would take over. Although Akins had a touchdown in Week 5, he’s hard to trust from a fantasy standpoint.
Taysom Hill Injury Update
Hill scored twice in Week 4 versus the Falcons. As a result, fantasy managers were hoping he could continue the momentum versus the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday evening.
Unfortunately, a rib injury kept him off the field. Hill was a DNP for Wednesday’s practice.
But if he misses a second consecutive contest, Juwan Johnson, coming off a five-catch, 31-yard effort in Week 5, could be considered a starting fantasy option against the Bucs, especially with four teams on a bye.
Mike Gesicki Injury Update
Gesicki wasn’t on the practice field on Wednesday because of a bum hamstring. However, with time before the Bengals clash with the New York Giants, there’s a chance he’ll be healthy enough to get out there in Week 6.

The 29-year-old hasn’t been consistent for fantasy managers this season, with his best showing occurring in the narrow loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (seven catches for 91 yards). With that in mind, Erick All Jr. will be in line to potentially see more attention from Joe Burrow. Unfortunately, the rookie would not be worth starting in any fantasy format if Gesicki is sidelined in Week 6.
