Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Lamar Jackson exited last week's win over the Denver Broncos with a knee injury and it's been revealed that the former NFL MVP suffered a sprained PCL to his left knee. After the Baltimore Ravens said he was 'week-to-week', Jackson is officially doubtful to play on Sunday versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jackson wasn't able to practice in any capacity this week, so all signs pointed toward him not being ready to suit up in Week 14. With the dynamic quarterback of the Ravens sidelined for Sunday's contest, Tyler Huntley will make his fifth career start.
Huntley threw for 772 yards, two touchdowns, and four interceptions while he rushed for 239 yards in his four starts last season. While Huntley is a viable option if you're someone desperate at the quarterback position due to his rushing floor, outside of Mark Andrews, starting any pass-catchers on the Ravens is risky in Week 14.
Tua Tagovailoa Injury Update
In the loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, Tua Tagovailoa left early with an ankle ailment. The Miami Dolphins revealed that Tagovailoa could have gone back in the game if it was more competitive and Mike McDaniel shared that it shouldn't be an issue on Sunday night versus the Los Angeles Chargers.
Tagovailoa was removed from Miami's injury report on Friday, indicating that he won't have any limitations in Week 14. Even though Tagovailoa doesn't run the ball often, it will be worth monitoring how he's moving around the pocket and stepping into his throws in Sunday's matchup with the Chargers.
Considering that McDaniel isn't considered with Tagovailoa's ankle injury in the slightest, everyone should fire up the weapons on the Dolphins with full confidence in Week 14.
Trevor Lawrence Injury Update
At the end of the first half of last week's loss to the Detroit Lions, Trevor Lawrence took a big hit and sustained a toe injury. Despite returning to practice on Friday after not practicing earlier in the week, the second-year quarterback is listed as questionable for Sunday's bout with the Tennessee Titans.
The good news is that Lawrence and Doug Pederson have both hinted at him being able to start in Week 14 despite being absent from practice early this week. Lawrence was able to play in the second half of last week's matchup versus the Lions, so the Jaguars could simply be taking a cautious approach with the young signal-caller.
If Lawrence is active on Sunday, he has a solid matchup against a pass-funneling Titans defense. So for those that don't have any better options than Lawrence, you're likely starting him in Week 14, though, you'll want to make sure he won't have any limitations with his toe ailment.
