Saquon Barkley Injury Update
Barkley (ankle) missed last Thursday's clash against the 49ers, but with 10 days of rest separating the Giants' Week 3 loss from their Week 4 game, he seems to be trending in the right direction. As of now, the Giants view him as day-to-day. The 26-year-old amassed 155 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns through the first two weeks of the season and ranks as a fantasy RB1 when active.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur is "cautiously optimistic" that Jones (hamstring) will play in Week 4. The star running back has not played ever since his early exit in Week 1. In that game, Jones amassed 127 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns. Green Bay would love to have him back in the fold, especially since A.J. Dillon has underwhelmed in his larger role. Jones should be viewed as a high-end fantasy RB2 if active.
David Montgomery Injury Update
Montgomery (thigh) could return after missing just one game. Lions head coach Dan Campbell said he's "starting to feel good about" his top running back suiting up on Thursday night versus Green Bay. He practiced in a limited capacity on Tuesday and, if active in Week 4, will rank as a fantasy RB2.
Gus Edwards Injury Update
Edwards (head) exited Week 3 with a concussion and did not return. He averaged an impressive 4.64 YPC before departing and should rank as a low-end fantasy RB2 if he's able to play in Week 4.
