Austin Ekeler Injury Update
Ekeler (ankle) was limited in practice all week long and has officially been listed as doubtful for Week 4 versus the Raiders. It seems very unlikely he'll play Sunday, which makes sense given that the Chargers are heading into a Week 5 bye. Joshua Kelley will start in his place but is merely a desperation play in fantasy leagues.
Saquon Barkley Injury Update
Barkley (ankle) has logged back-to-back limited practices as the Giants continue to prepare for Week 4 versus the Seahawks. The star running back was sidelined for Week 3, but it looks like he has a legitimate chance to return after missing just one game. With that said, it would not be a surprise to see him labeled as "questionable," which puts fantasy managers in a tough situation given that New York plays Monday night.
Gus Edwards Injury Update
Edwards (concussion) practiced in full all week long and has been cleared to play against the Browns on Sunday. While Cleveland's run defense has been dominant this season, Edwards has arguably been just as impressive with his 5.0 YPC through three games. The 28-year-old ranks as a high-end RB3 for Week 4.
Miles Sanders Injury Update
Sanders (groin) missed practice on Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Week 4. It's never a good sign when a player downgrades to a non-participant at the end of the week, so fantasy managers should at least prepare for the possibility of Sanders being inactive. If he were to miss time, Chuba Hubbard would operate as the lead back while ranking as an RB3 in fantasy leagues.
James Conner Injury Update
Conner (back) was limited in practice on Wednesday but hasn't faced any limitations since then. He was officially removed from the injury report to close out the week, meaning he'll suit up versus the 49ers on Sunday. That's a tough matchup for running backs, though Conner has proven he can handle tough defenses this season. Just last week, he totaled 116 scrimmage yards and one touchdown against the Cowboys' stout unit.
Breece Hall Injury Update
Hall (knee) was limited on Wednesday but has since been cleared to play against the Chiefs. It was no surprise to see Hall on the injury report for the fourth consecutive week, though the fact that he hasn't missed a game yet gave fantasy managers no reason to panic. Indeed, the second-year back will be active on Sunday. With that said, the Jets have drastically struggled to run the ball when playing from behind, a scenario that will likely plague them again in Week 4. Hall is a fantasy RB3.
Jerome Ford Injury Update
Ford (shoulder) logged back-to-back full practices to close out the week. He has been removed from the Browns' injury report and will play against the Ravens in Week 4. With Nick Chubb (knee) done for the season, Cleveland's backfield belongs to Ford. Just last week, he scored twice on 12 touches. Consider him to be a high-end fantasy RB3 on Sunday.
Justice Hill Injury Update
Hill (foot) upgraded to a full participant on Friday but is still listed as questionable heading into Week 4 versus Cleveland. The 25-year-old maintained steady involvement through the first two weeks of the season and should continue to play a role upon his return. With that said, Hill remains behind Gus Edwards, limiting him to the high-end RB4 range.
Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
Mitchell (knee) popped up on the injury report after missing Friday's practice. He's officially listed as questionable for Week 4 versus Arizona. His ultimate availability will depend on whether he is able to recover in time for kickoff Sunday. Regardless, he's not a very appealing fantasy option given his role behind Christian McCaffrey.
Kareem Hunt Injury Update
Hunt (ribs, groin) was limited for back-to-back practices to close out the week. He's officially questionable for Week 4 and seems like a true game-time decision. Even if active, the veteran will operate behind Jerome Ford and isn't on the fantasy radar.
Salvon Ahmed Injury Update
Ahmed (groin) was limited in practice all week long and is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Bills. He was listed as No. 2 on the depth chart when he injured himself in Week 2, but De'Von Achane's enormous Week 3 has presumably bumped Ahmed down a level.
Cordarrelle Patterson Injury Update
Patterson (thigh) was limited in practice all week long and is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. The versatile veteran has yet to play this season, though it looks like there's at least a chance he suits up for the Falcons' Week 4 contest in London. Even if active, Patterson will operate behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, restricting his upside.
Keaontay Ingram Injury Update
Ingram (neck) missed Friday's practice and is officially questionable for Week 4 versus the 49ers. At this point, Arizona should at least prepare for the possibility of being without its No. 2 running back. If Ingram is inactive, Emari Demercado would see more snaps while operating behind James Conner.
