Austin Ekeler Injury Update
Austin Ekeler (ankle) has already been ruled out for Week 3 and is in jeopardy of missing additional games, head coach Brandon Staley implied on Friday. At this point, it'll be Joshua Kelley leading the Chargers backfield while rookie Elijah Dotson mixes in. Kelley should be viewed as an RB3 for fantasy purposes.
Derrick Henry Injury Update
Derrick Henry (turf toe) missed practice on Thursday but participated in a full capacity on Friday. He has been removed from the injury report and will play against the Browns in Week 3, ranking as a mid-range RB1.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Aaron Jones (hamstring) missed practice Wednesday but was able to participate in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday. He's listed as questionable, and at this rate, it looks like he could be a true game-time decision. While Green Bay certainly hopes to have Jones in the fold, the team should feel comfortable deploying A.J. Dillon as its lead back if necessary.
Breece Hall Injury Update
Breece Hall (knee) was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday before participating in a full capacity to close out the week on Friday. He will play on Sunday, though his exact role remains to be seen. The second-year back hasn't played more than 34 percent of snaps in a game this season as he returns from a torn ACL. Fantasy managers should view him and teammate Dalvin Cook as RB3/FLEX options.
David Montgomery Injury Update
David Montgomery (knee) was absent from all three practices this week and is officially doubtful to play Sunday versus Atlanta. Rookie Jahmyr Gibbs is the most likely choice to lead the backfield, though Craig Reynolds and Zonovan Knight are candidates to fill Montgomery's early-down role.
Jamaal Williams Injury Update
Jamaal Williams (hamstring) was unable to practice this week. He has officially been ruled out for Week 3 versus the Green Bay Packers, leaving Kendre Miller (hamstring) slated to draw the start. Tony Jones Jr. and Taysom Hill could also get incorporated into the rushing attack.
Miles Sanders Injury Update
Miles Sanders (pectoral) upgraded to a full participant Friday and has been cleared to play against the Seahawks in Week 3. He'll be getting hand-offs from Andy Dalton after rookie quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) was ruled out. Sanders should be viewed as a low-end fantasy RB2.
Isiah Pacheco Injury Update
Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) logged back-to-back limited practices to close out the week. He's officially listed as questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Bears. Fantasy managers invested in Pacheco's status should check the Chiefs' official inactives list at 2:55 p.m. EST on Sunday.
Kenneth Gainwell Injury Update
Kenneth Gainwell (ribs) practiced in full on Friday. He impressed as the lead back in Week 1 but has since lost his role atop the depth chart to D'Andre Swift. Fantasy managers should view Gainwell as a fine bench option with a chance to re-carve out a role in a strong rushing attack.
Kendre Miller Injury Update
Kendre Miller (hamstring) practiced in full this past week. He'll likely draw the start in his NFL debut Sunday with Williams (hamstring) sidelined. Consider him a low-end RB3 option given the uncertainty surrounding his role and anticipated production.
Justice Hill Injury Update
Justice Hill (foot) missed his third consecutive practice on Friday and has been ruled out ahead of Week 3 versus the Colts. It'll be Gus Edwards leading the Ravens' backfield while Lamar Jackson and Melvin Gordon also get involved in the rushing attack. Edwards ranks as a fringe top-24 fantasy running back this week given his large role and favorable matchup.
Salvon Ahmed Injury Update
Salvon Ahmed (groin) upgraded to a limited participant on Friday after missing the previous two days of practice. Despite getting on the field in some capacity, he's still listed as questionable for Week 3 versus Denver. He had been serving as the No. 2 running back behind Raheem Mostert but will likely cede that role to rookie De'Von Achane if he can't play.
Cordarrelle Patterson Injury Update
Cordarrelle Patterson (thigh) suffered a setback on Thursday, but he was able to practice on Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Week 3 against the Lions. Even if he plays, he'll operate behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, keeping him off the fantasy radar.
DeeJay Dallas Injury Update
DeeJay Dallas (illness) missed practice Friday and is truly questionable heading into Week 3. At most, he's a bench option in deep leagues. For most managers, though, he's a non-factor and should be left on waivers.
Boston Scott Injury Update
Boston Scott (concussion) participated in a limited capacity on Friday. He'll have one more day of practice before being issued an official injury designation heading into Monday Night Football.
