Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
McCaffrey (ankle, knee) upgraded to a full participant on Friday and has been cleared to play against the Cardinals. The 49ers don't intend to rest any starters, so fantasy managers should continue to view McCaffrey as a high-end RB1.
Josh Jacobs Injury Update
Jacobs (hip, oblique, personal) missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday for personal reasons. He is officially listed as questionable heading into Week 18 versus the Chiefs. While Jacobs' status remains unknown, fantasy managers should start him as an RB1 if he's active.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (ankle, knee) was limited in practice all week long but has been removed from the final injury report. He will play on Sunday. This is what a typical Aaron Jones practice progression has looked like for several weeks. There's no concern that his injury will hamper his production, and with the Packers needing a win, look for them to ride their running backs. Start Jones in all fantasy leagues.
James Conner Injury Update
Conner (knee, shin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game after missing all three practices this week. Corey Clement, Keontay Ingram, and Ty'Son Williams will see snaps in his absence, but none of them are worth starting in fantasy football.
Brian Robinson Jr. Injury Update
Robinson (thigh, knee) has been ruled out for the Commanders' season finale. Head coach Ron Rivera announced that the rookie is quite "beat up." In fact, he is dealing with an MCL sprain, as well as a thigh contusion that bled to his knee. With Antonio Gibson (knee, foot) on IR, Washington will start Jonathan Williams at running back this week. He's not a safe lineup option for Week 18 fantasy championships.
Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Walker (ankle, illness) practiced in full on Friday and has been removed from the injury report. While DeeJay Dallas has earned more snaps, Walker is still the preferred option on rushing downs and continues to rank as a low-end RB2 in fantasy football.
Miles Sanders Injury Update
Sanders (knee) practiced in full on Friday and does not carry an injury designation into Week 18 versus the Giants. He will play, but his inconsistent week-by-week results will drop him to the low-end RB2 or high-end RB3 range in fantasy football this weekend.
D'Onta Foreman Injury Update
Foreman (knee) was added to the injury report after practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. He's officially listed as questionable for Week 18. If he suits up, fantasy managers should view him as a high-end RB3 in fantasy football. If he is inactive, Chuba Hubbard would take over as the Panthers' lead back, also ranking as an RB3.
Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
Mitchell (knee) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of Week 18, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed. He should serve as the backup to Christian McCaffrey while ranking as a low-end RB3 in fantasy football. He can certainly be started if you're in a pinch this week.
Antonio Gibson Injury Update
Gibson (knee, foot) was placed on IR and has since undergone surgery. His 2022 season is over, but he should be good to go for 2023. Jonathan Williams will start at running back in the Commanders' season finale.
DeeJay Dallas Injury Update
Dallas (ankle) upgraded to a limited participant on Friday. He has been removed from the final injury report and will play in Week 18. The 24-year-old has carved out a solid role over the last two weeks, totaling nine carries, 53 rushing yards, nine catches, and receiving yards. Consider him a low-end RB3 heading into Week 18.
Travis Homer Injury Update
Homer (ankle) is officially doubtful to play in Week 18. Regardless of his game status, Walker and Dallas are the only Seahawks running backs on the fantasy radar.
