Alvin Kamara Injury Update
Kamara (groin) wants to return this season and could even play in Week 17, but interim head coach Darren Rizzi isn't ready to make that decision yet. Fantasy managers should expect the Saints to wait until Friday before revealing Kamara's injury designation.
Saints coach Darren Rizzi said both Derek Carr and Alvin Kamara are very much trying to come back and play, but still undecided for Week 17.
Said Kamara was just in his office today letting him know he wants to play. But said that will probably be a later-in-the-week decision.

Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Walker (ankle) has missed two practices in a row. He just returned from a multi-game absence, so fantasy managers should be concerned that he suffered some re-aggravation or new injury. If Walker can't play, Zach Charbonnet (elbow) would be next in line to lead the backfield.

James Conner Injury Update
On Tuesday, Conner (knee) was limited, just 48 hours removed from gashing the Panthers on the ground. If he can suit up in Week 17, he'll rank as a fringe top-12 fantasy running back.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Injury Update
Tracy (ankle) did not participate in Tuesday's de facto practice, but he still has a few days to demonstrate progress health-wise. If able to play in Week 17, he'd rank as a low-end RB2 against the Colts.
Players who won’t practice Tuesday:
LB Micah McFadden, RB Tyrone Tracy, WR Malik Nabers, C John Michael Schmitz, CB Greg Stroman, S Raheem Layne, DT Cory Durden, CB Dru Phillips
It’s early in week. Giants are practicing Tuesday, off Wednesday this week because of Christmas.

Zach Charbonnet Injury Update
Charbonnet (elbow) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Tuesday. Given that both he and Walker are banged up, savvy fantasy managers in deeper redraft leagues may want to invest in Kenny McIntosh.

Isaac Guerendo Injury Update
Guerendo (hamstring) remains day-to-day, but 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is optimistic that he'll return to practice on Thursday. If so, he'd likely be able to suit up against a solid Lions defensive core, ranking as a high-end RB3 in fantasy football.
Kyle Shanahan on Isaac Guerendo for this week:
“Yeah, we are expecting him back Wednesday. You know, he'll still be day-to-day with his hamstring, but he’s trending in the right direction and hopefully he'll be good on Thursday. Sorry, not Wednesday.”— Jamey Eisenberg (@JameyEisenberg) December 24, 2024
Justice Hill Injury Update
Hill (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17 against the Texans. Hill suffered his concussion last weekend against the Steelers. Derrick Henry remains Baltimore's top option out of the backfield, but we could see additional opportunities for Rasheen Ali or Keaton Mitchell.

Gus Edwards Injury Update
Edwards (ankle) was limited on Tuesday. He's coming off an impressive two-touchdown performance, but it's still too premature for fantasy managers to trust him as anything more than a high-end RB3/flex option against New England. A potential J.K. Dobbins (knee) return could further complicate this backfield.

Austin Ekeler Injury Update
Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that Ekeler (concussion) could play in Week 18, but the team wants to do everything right and allow him to clear concussion protocol before he gets ramped back up to game speed. In other words, Washington won't rush him back. Even at 29 years old, Ekeler remains a decent pass-catching threat and possesses high-end RB3 upside once he returns.
Dan Quinn said it's "absolutely possible" that RB Austin Ekeler will return this season. The earliest he can return is next week.

Jaleel McLaughlin Injury Update
McLaughlin (quad) was limited on Tuesday. He still has several days to improve his status and get cleared to play in Week 17. Fantasy managers should view him as a fringe top-36 running back option within a backfield that also features Javonte Williams, Audric Estime, and Tyler Badie (back).

J.K. Dobbins Injury Update
Dobbins (knee) remains on injured reserve but had his practice window reopened recently. He was officially limited in practice on Tuesday, and he'd likely compete for the lead-back role if Gus Edwards can't sustain his latest success.

Trey Benson Injury Update
Benson (ankle), who missed last week's game, was limited in practice on Tuesday. The rookie has a decent chance to suit up against the Rams in Week 17, but he won't rank higher than the RB4 range.

Travis Homer Injury Update
Homer (hamstring) was sidelined for another practice on Tuesday. He's trending toward missing his second game in a row, but that has minimal fantasy applications as D'Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson continue to lead the Chicago backfield.

Will Shipley Injury Update
Shipley (concussion) has not yet cleared the league's protocols, and his status for Week 17 remains iffy, at best. The Eagles rookie should be avoided in all redraft leagues due to his injury and minimal role behind Saquon Barkley and Kenneth Gainwell.

Tyler Badie Injury Update
The Broncos have opened the 21-day practice window for Badie (back). He returned to log a full practice on Tuesday and could be activated from injured reserve as early as this week.
The #Broncos have opened the 21-day practice window for RB Tyler Badie, who collapsed on the sideline after suffering a back injury in Week 4.
