Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
McCaffrey (knee) was limited to start the week but did log a full practice session on Thursday. As a result, he has been removed from the injury report and a will play in Week 16. It goes without saying that the talented back ranks as a high-end RB1 once again.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (knee) was limited in practice all week long but has been removed from the Packers’ final injury report. As a result, he will be active for Sunday’s game against the Dolphins. Fantasy managers should view the versatile veteran as a mid-to-low RB1 option.
Rhamondre Stevenson Injury Update
Stevenson (ankle) was a limited participant in practice all week long. He is officially listed as questionable for the Patriots game versus Cincinnati. Stevenson played in Week 15 despite being questionable, so it looks relatively likely that he’ll suit up on Saturday. Regardless, fantasy managers should double-check his status when inactives are announced 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
Nick Chubb Injury Update
Chubb (foot) upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday and has been cleared to play ahead of the Browns’ Week 16 clash against the Saints. He’ll rank as a low-end RB1 in fantasy football.
Najee Harris Injury Update
Harris (hip) missed practice on Tuesday, but he progressed throughout the week and even managed to log a full session on Thursday. As a result, he has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 16. Fantasy managers should fire up the second year back as an RB2 in fantasy football.
Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Walker (ankle, back) did not practice at all this past week. However, the Seahawks listed him as questionable, leaving the door open for the rookie to play on Sunday. If he suits up versus the Chiefs, he would rank as a mid-range RB2 and might not be 100 percent.
Latavius Murray Injury Update
Murray (foot) did not practice on Thursday, but he upgraded to a limited participant on Friday. With the Broncos and Rams struggling on offense, we could see both teams adopt a run-heavy approach in Week 16. Therefore, Murray would rank as a low-end RB2 if active.
Jeff Wilson Jr. Injury Update
Wilson (hip) was limited in practice all week long. He missed the second half of Miami’s Week 14 clash after initially injuring himself, then remained inactive for Week 15. Even if he suits up against Green Bay on Sunday, Wilson will likely back up Raheem Mostert and therefore ranks as a low-end RB3 in fantasy football.
Antonio Gibson Injury Update
Gibson (foot) upgraded to a full participant Thursday and has been removed from the Seahawks’ injury report. He will play in Week 16 but ranks as nothing more than a low-end RB3 in fantasy football.
Damien Harris Injury Update
Harris (thigh) was a limited participant in practice all week long. He is officially listed as questionable for the Patriots game versus Cincinnati. Even if Harris’ streak of absences ends at three games, he’ll occupy the No. 2 role behind Rhamondre Stevenson and therefore lacks fantasy appeal in Week 16.
DeeJay Dallas Injury Update
Dallas (ankle) closed out the week as a limited participant in practice. He is questionable to play on Saturday and could see more volume if Walker is inactive or less than 100 percent. Dallas enters the weekend as an RB5 who could jump to the RBB3 tier depending on his teammate’s health.
Jordan Mason Injury Update
Mason (hamstring) was added to the injury report after practicing in a limited capacity on Thursday. He is officially questionable and has no redraft appeal as long as McCaffrey remains healthy.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Injury Update
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Edwards-Helaire (ankle) won't return from IR for Week 16 versus Seattle. "He's getting close,” said Reid. "He's working his tail off, but we'll see. He won't be out there this week." Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon have handled the increased workload with ease, and they should remain Kansas City’s top two backs after Edwards-Helaire returns.
Zamir White Injury Update
White (ankle) was limited in practice on Thursday and is officially questionable for Week 16. The rookie has seen increased volume in recent weeks, but make no mistake: Vegas’ offense still revolves around Josh Jacobs. White is merely a change-of-pace option and has no allure in redraft formats.
Chase Edmonds Injury Update
Edmonds (ankle) was designated to return on Wednesday. He practiced this week, and the Broncos now have until 4 p.m. EST on Saturday to decide whether to activate him. It’s worth noting that Denver has used seven of its eight activations, so Edmonds returning would mean the Broncos can’t bring back any more players from IR for the rest of the year. Even if active this week, Edmonds projects to back up Murray and possibly Marlon Mack, too.
Dwayne Washington Injury Update
Washington (illness) has been dealing with a series of migraines and will not play in Week 16. Look for Taysom Hill and David Johnson to register more touches behind Alvin Kamara.
Myles Gaskin Injury Update
Gaskin (illness) did not practice on Friday. He is officially listed as questionable for Week 16. Presumably, the Dolphins won’t make a decision on his status until game time, giving the illness another 36 hours to potentially run its course.
