Josh Jacobs Injury Update
The Raiders don't expect Jacobs (calf) to practice much this week, if at all. This seems to be the football form of load management, with Vegas working around the clock to prepare Jacobs for playing in Week 13. Fresh off a game in which he totaled 303 scrimmage yards, Jacobs would rank as a high-end RB1 if active.
Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
McCaffrey (knee) dealt with irritation during Sunday's win over the Saints. While he did not exit the game, he was held to just 15 touches and 49 scrimmage yards. With teammate Elijah Mitchell (knee) sidelined, McCaffrey will face less competition if active in Week 13. In such a scenario, he'd rank as an RB1.
Joe Mixon Injury Update
Mixon (concussion) missed Week 12 and remains in concussion protocol, but he has made good progress in recent days. Players rarely spend more than two weeks in the protocol, and Mixon is already at the 10-day mark. If he continues to progress this week, he should suit up on Sunday.
Travis Etienne Jr. Injury Update
The Jaguars said that Etienne (foot), who exited in Week 12 and never returned, could have come back into the game. However, the team wanted to play it safe, so they held him out. Even if he isn't a full participant in practice this week, he should have no limitations heading into Sunday's game.
Najee Harris Injury Update
Harris (abdomen) exited Monday Night Football and was unable to return. While outsiders have speculated about the severity, sources told NFL.com's Ian Rapoport that Harris "did not offer a major injury." The second-year back's participation in practice will help guide his availability for Sunday's game, so interested fantasy managers should keep an eye on the Steelers' daily reports. If Harris can't suit up, Jaylen Warren (hamstring) and Benny Snell Jr. would see more touches.
Michael Carter Injury Update
Carter (ankle) exited Sunday's game against the Bears and never returned. As of now, he's being evaluated on a day-to-day basis with a chance to play in Week 13. If he can't suit up, Zonovan Knight and Ty Johnson would see large roles. The same could be true for James Robinson, who was a healthy scratch versus Chicago.
Jaylen Warren Injury Update
Warren (hamstring) has been cleared to return to practice. He suited up on Wednesday and should be good to go against the Falcons in Week 13. With Najee Harris (abdomen) banged up, Warren and teammate Benny Snell Jr. could be in line for more touches this week.
J.K. Dobbins Injury Update
D0bbins (knee) is expected to practice soon following a six-week absence. The 23-year-old has played in just four games this season, rushing 35 times for 123 yards while adding 39 yards in the receiving game. He also scored two touchdowns in the process. He will likely lead the Ravens' backfield upon his return, but between his inefficiency and Baltimore's depth at running back, Dobbins belongs in the mid-to-low RB3 tier.
Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
Mitchell (knee) suffered an MCL sprain on Sunday, similar to the one that sidelined him earlier this season. He's expected to miss another six to eight weeks. The 24-year-old has played in part of just four games this year, accruing 224 rushing yards and seven receiving yards. Jordan Mason and Tyrion Davis-Price will likely back up McCaffrey going forward.
Damien Harris Injury Update
Harris (thigh) has been missing from practice and will not play against the Bills on Thursday. Rhamondre Stevenson will continue to operate as the lead back, ranking as a low-end RB1. Look for rookies Pierre Strong Jr. and Kevin Harris to register a couple of touches, too.
Rex Burkhead Injury Update
Burkhead (concussion) exited Sunday's game late and has officially entered concussion protocol. He has lacked fantasy appeal while backing up Dameon Pierce, registering just 83 rushing yards, 164 receiving yards, and one touchdown along the way.
Gary Brightwell Injury Update
Brightwell (illness) missed Tuesday's practice. One would imagine that he should be able to recover over the next five days, putting him in a favorable position to play on Sunday. The 23-year-old totaled 31 rushing yards and 18 receiving yards on Thanksgiving, but he's not on the fantasy radar.
