Kenneth Walker III Injury Update
Walker (oblique) did not participate in practice on Tuesday. That's now two consecutive absences for the talented running back who will need to practice in some capacity on Wednesday if he has any shot at playing versus the 49ers. It seems like he'll miss this week's game, bumping Zach Charbonnet into fantasy relevance as an RB3.
De'Von Achane Injury Update
Achane (knee) was estimated as a limited participant following Tuesday's walkthrough practice. This is a promising step in the right direction after the rookie departed during the first quarter of Week 11 and was unable to return. If active this Friday, he'd presumably see reduced snaps, ranking as an RB3 in fantasy football.
Aaron Jones Injury Update
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (knee) was ruled out by the team on Wednesday due to the knee injury that he suffered in last week's win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
After the news broke that the injury was to the veteran's MCL, there was no real shot that Jones would find his way back onto the field with such a short turnaround. There is no official timetable for the 28-year-old, but the Packers did not feel the need to put Jones on Injured Reserve, a positive sign for fantasy managers.
A.J. Dillon Injury Update
Dillon (groin) logged a limited practice on Tuesday. Surprisingly, that makes him one of the healthiest running backs on the roster and puts him in line to start on Thursday if Jones is inactive. In such a scenario, Dillon would rank as a mid-range RB3. Needless to say, though, the Lions' run defense is no joke.
Raheem Mostert Injury Update
Must like his backfield-mate in Achane, Mostert (ankle, knee) logged a limited practice this Tuesday. It looks quite likely that he'll suit on Friday, though fantasy managers will want to check for additional confirmation over the next few days. If active but splitting time with Achane, Mostert would rank as a low-end RB2.
Antonio Gibson Injury Update
Gibson (toe) logged his second consecutive limited practice on Tuesday. It's a promising sign in the right direction after he missed all three practices (and Sunday's game) last week. As of now, he has a chance to suit up versus Dallas. Fantasy managers would be wise to monitor his status over the next couple of days.
Rico Dowdle Injury Update
Dowdle (ankle) was unable to practice again on Tuesday, putting his status for Week 12 in serious doubt. The Cowboys are heavily favored on Thursday, meaning they could afford to create more touches for their running back depth. Deuce Vaughn would operate behind Tony Pollard if Dowdle is held out.
Emanuel Wilson Injury Update
Another running back injury for the Packers? When it rains, it pours. Add Wilson (shoulder) to the list of players unlikely to play in Week 12 after a shoulder issue caused his second consecutive DNP. The Packers signed Patrick Taylor and James Robinson in case they need to find short-term replacements for Jones and Wilson.
