Derrick Henry Injury Update
Henry (ankle) finished the week with two consecutive full practices. He has been removed from the injury report and will play on Sunday versus the Panthers. Although he's been underwhelming over the last two weeks, he could bounce back in a huge way versus this struggling Carolina squad. Henry returns to the mid-range fantasy RB1 tier this weekend.
D'Andre Swift Injury Update
Swift (ankle) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday. He has been removed from the final injury report and will play in Week 12 versus the Bills. Buffalo has been suspect against running backs this season, surrendering 134.7 scrimmage yards per game to the position. Swift should rank as a mid-range RB2 in fantasy football.
Kyren Williams Injury Update
Williams (ankle) logged full practices all week long. The team still hasn't activated him from IR but will likely do so on Saturday, especially after they didn't give him an injury report for Week 12. In his return, Williams may not play 100 percent of snaps like he did back in Week 3 versus Cincinnati. However, he should have a significant role, giving him the chance to produce against a weak Cardinals run defense.
Dameon Pierce Injury Update
Pierce (calf) logged a full week of practice. He is officially listed as questionable but is expected to play versus Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon. However, Devin Singletary's recent success may have earned him a permanent starting role, giving Pierce the backup job for Week 12. The 23-year-old is an RB4 in fantasy football.
Samaje Perine Injury Update
Perine (knee) practiced in full for two consecutive days. He has been removed from the injury report and will play in Week 12 versus the Cleveland Browns. While Perine isn't the greatest runner, he has some low-end RB3/FLEX appeal in PPR leagues thanks to his pass-catching upside. Just last week, he totaled seven receptions for 60 yards through the air.
Jerick McKinnon Injury Update
McKinnon (groin) was downgraded to a non-participant on Friday. As a result, he has been ruled out for Week 12 versus the Las Vegas Raiders. Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who is not on the fantasy radar, will operate as the backup to Isiah Pacheco.
D'Onta Foreman Injury Update
Foreman (ankle, shin) upgraded to a limited participant in practice on Friday. He'll have one more day to make additional progress before the Bears release their official Week 12 injury designations. Even if Foreman does play on Sunday, he is off the fantasy radar due to his tertiary role behind Justin Fields and Khalil Herbert in the rushing attack.
Kendre Miller Injury Update
Miller (ankle) was unable to practice this week. He has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons, marking his second consecutive absence. With Taysom Hill factoring into the run game, it's possible that New Orleans enters Week 12 with just two active running backs (Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams).
Emari Demercado Injury Update
Demercado (toe) was limited in practice all week long and has officially been listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams. The rookie flashed upside when filling in as Arizona's lead back, but he has fallen off the fantasy radar following James Conner's return to action.
Chase Brown Injury Update
Brown (hamstring) practiced in full all week long. He is trending towards playing in Week 12 but has been listed as questionable given that he remains on injured reserve. If the Bengals intend to activate Brown for their clash with Pittsburgh, they'll have to do so by 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday. Such a move would presumably return the rookie to a backup role behind Joe Mixon.
Eric Gray Injury Update
Gray (ankle) was a full participant for the second consecutive practice on Friday. Given that he's still on injured reserve, New York is listing him as questionable to play in Week 12. The Giants have until 4 p.m. Eastern on Saturday to activate their 24-year-old.
Dwayne Washington Injury Update
Washington (illness) popped up on the injury report after missing Friday's practice. He is officially listed as questionable while the Broncos wait to see how he recovers prior to kickoff Sunday. Outside of one offensive snap, the 29-year-old has spent his 2023 season on the special teams unit.
