Ezekiel Elliott - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Fantasy football RB injury updates and injury reports for running backs for Week 10 (2022), as of 11/12, including Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Jonathan Taylor, Dameon Pierce, and D'Andre Swift.

Below you will find our fantasy football injuries report for running backs in Week 10, as of November 12th. The injury statuses for various NFL running backs are up in the air for Week 10, including Aaron Jones, Ezekiel Elliott, Jonathan Taylor, Dameon Pierce, and D'Andre Swift.

As the fantasy football season carries on, every decision, transaction, and lineup change matters. These are critical running back injuries to keep track of throughout the week. Being up-to-date on NFL injury news can give you an edge over your league mates in fantasy football.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Aaron Jones Injury Update

Jones (ankle) left midway through Week 9, sparking some concern about his availability going forward. Fortunately, the veteran back practiced in a limited capacity all week long and has now been removed from the injury report entirely. Translation: he will play against the Cowboys on Sunday. Fire him up as a mid-range RB1 in fantasy football.

Ezekiel Elliott Injury Update

Elliott (knee) was limited in practice all week long and is now the only Cowboys player listed as questionable for Week 10 against the Packers. For the last couple of weeks, the veteran back has been targeting this Sunday as his return date, and while he is certainly trending in the right direction, we might not get official word on his status until gameday morning. If Elliott suits up, both he and Tony Pollard would rank as solid RB2 options. If he can't go, Pollard might be able to climb into the fringe of the RB1 tier.

Dameon Pierce Injury Update

Pierce (chest, shoulder) upgraded to a full participant in practice on Friday and has been removed from the injury report. Not only will he be active for Week 10, but the rookie could handle an even larger workload if either Brandin Cooks (wrist) or Nico Collins (groin), both listed as questionable, are unable to play. Regardless, Pierce finds himself ranked as a fringe RB1 versus the Giants this week.

Jonathan Taylor Injury Update

Taylor (ankle) has now logged two consecutive days of full participation in practice. As a result, he was removed from the injury report and cleared to play in Week 10. Notably, the Colts are heading into their first game with interim head coach Jeff Saturday, who told the media that Taylor is a "home run hitter" and has impressed this week. He ranks as a fringe RB1 in his first game back.

D'Andre Swift Injury Update

In a refreshing turn of events, Swift (ankle, shoulder) has been removed from the injury report and does not carry a designation into Sunday's game against the Bears. We're still a little murky about whether Swift is 100 percent and what role to expect from him. However, after demonstrating his talent time and time again, it's fair to rank him as an RB2 this week. At the same time, Jamaal Williams could vulture some of Swift's touches, giving him a top-24 appeal of his own.

Jerick McKinnon Injury Update

McKinnon (shoulder, knee) was downgraded to a limited participant in practice on Friday. The talented receiving back is officially listed as questionable. On one hand, it is refreshing to learn that McKinnon never missed a whole practice. On the other hand, though, his downgrade in status from Thursday to Friday evokes some skepticism.

Kyren Williams Injury Update

Williams (ankle) is expected to make his much-anticipated return this weekend after spending roughly three months recovering from the injury he suffered in the season opener. The move comes at an important time for the Rams, who seek offensive reinforcements and could find a way to get Williams involved right off the bat. If you have room on your roster in redraft formats, it might be worth stashing the rookie, just in case he solves the Rams' backfield woes.

Dontrell Hilliard Injury Update

Hilliard (groin) practiced in full for two days in a row and has officially been removed from the injury report. He will play in Week 10, operating as Derrick Henry's backup while representing one of the most intriguing handcuffs in fantasy football. He should be left on benches in most leagues this week.

Deon Jackson Injury Update

Jackson (knee) injured himself last Sunday against the Patriots and was unable to return. Filling in for Taylor and the departed Nyheim Hines, Jackson had an opportunity to see more volume before exiting. Now, it's Jackson who is out for Week 10 while Taylor will be returning.

Mark Ingram II Injury Update

Ingram (knee) did not practice at all this week and has officially been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers. He is clearly still working to recover from the issue, making it impossible for him to return to the field in Week 10. It certainly begs the question of exactly how much time he will ultimately miss.

J.D. McKissic Injury Update

McKissic (neck) has been a non-participant through the first two days of practice and is trending towards being inactive for Monday Night Football against the Eagles. With the Eagles heavily favored, the Commanders will have to throw the football often, tailoring to Antonio Gibson's allure in PPR formats. He is a fringe top-24 option this week if McKissic does indeed sit out.

DeeJay Dallas Injury Update

Dallas (knee) popped up on the initial injury report this past Wednesday. Although he maintained the same status throughout the week and has been cleared to play in Week 10 against the Buccaneers, he has minimal fantasy appeal and should be left on waivers in most fantasy leagues.

Malcolm Brown Injury Update

Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 10 against the Cardinals. Although every type of injury is far from ideal, the timing of this one is acceptable because he will be replaced in the backfield by Kyren Williams. Los Angeles should feel fine with a rotation of Cam Akers, Darrell Henderson Jr., and Williams in Week 10, perhaps leaving Brown on the roster bubble when he recovers next Monday.
