Aaron Jones Injury Update
Jones (ankle) received good news on Monday as his tests came back negative. The veteran back injured himself during Week 9 against the Lions and was unable to return, but it looks like he should be healthy enough to play against the Cowboys this coming Sunday. If active, Jones will rank as a mid-range RB1.
Ezekiel Elliott Injury Update
When discussing the status of Elliott (knee) for Week 10, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said, "It's anticipated he'll be ready to go." This was the plan all along, but it's still refreshing to hear Jones' positive update on the veteran running back. Assuming he has no limitations, Elliott and Pollard are fringe RB2 options against the Packers.
Chuba Hubbard Injury Update
Hubbard (ankle) returned to practice in a limited fashion on Monday, then upgraded to full participation on Tuesday. This is good news for the Panthers' running back after he missed Weeks 8 and 9. Even with the quick turnaround heading into Thursday Night Football, it appears Hubbard is on track to play against Atlanta. The second-year back is viewed as the Panthers' preferred receiving back, offering a change of pace from early-down back D'Onta Foreman. If active, Hubbard would rank as a low-end RB3 this week.
Gus Edwards Injury Update
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that "the plan" is for Edwards (hamstring) to return against the Panthers in Week 11. He missed Monday Night Football against the Saints and is now entering the Ravens' bye week, which bodes well for his recovery. When Edwards returns, he should occupy the No. 1 running back role in Baltimore, at least until J.K. Dobbins is healthy enough to play again.
Elijah Mitchell Injury Update
Mitchell (knee) was designated to return from IR on Monday. While this move technically gives him 21 days to practice before being elevated to the active roster, previous reports indicated that the 24-year-old will return as soon as this week against the Chargers. Mitchell is expected to operate as the backup to Christian McCaffrey, making him a high-end RB4.
Chris Evans Injury Update
Evans (knee) was diagnosed with a Grade 2 PCL sprain following Sunday's big win over the Panthers. He is officially viewed as week-to-week, casting significant doubt on his availability for when the Bengals return from their bye in Week 11. He can be left on fantasy football waivers.
Jerome Ford Injury Update
Ford (ankle) has been designated to return from injured reserve. He now has up to 21 days to practice before rejoining the active roster. The 23-year-old played exclusively on special teams when healthier earlier this season. As a result, he should be left on waivers in all fantasy leagues.
