Christian McCaffrey Injury Update
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan debunked theories that running back Christian McCaffrey was dealing with a quad injury. Cameras caught McCaffrey getting his quadriceps worked on during Saturday's game against the Packers, but Shanahan explained that such treatment is standard practice for the star playmaker. McCaffrey is fully healthy and remains a critical factor on offense heading into Sunday's game against Detroit.
Mark Andrews Injury Update
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh would not confirm whether Mark Andrews (knee) will be available this week. The star tight end remains on injured reserve but has been designated to return, which means he can continue to practice with the team. At this point, Andrews' status feels like a toss-up, though we could gain some more clarity when the Ravens practice over the next three days. If Andrews is forced to miss another week, Isaiah Likely would remain the top tight end, a role he has filled admirably as of late.
Deebo Samuel Injury Update
49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (shoulder) avoided a bone fracture, but he remains in significant pain several days removed from the team's win over Green Bay. Shanahan suggested that he could gain more clarity on Samuel's status when the 49ers return to practice on Wednesday.
Brock Wright Injury Update
Wright (arm) suffered a broken forearm during Sunday's win over the Buccaneers. The injury will presumably end his postseason. Detroit worked quickly to replace Wright as they signed veteran Zach Ertz to back up rookie sensation Sam LaPorta. Of course, LaPorta remains the only Lions tight end on the fantasy or betting radar.
