Fantasy Football Dynasty Watch: Breakout CFB Performances From Week 10

We have a new piece here at RotoBaller to highlight those college football players that are turning heads at the collegiate level that could be playing for your favorite team and fantasy team sometime very soon. You don't want the first time you hear a player being their name called at the NFL draft, right?

Fantasy Football Dynasty Watch: Quarterbacks

Clayton Tune, Houston (36-53, 527 yards, 7TD at SMU)

This was a tough one. Do I go with Tanner Mordecai, who had roughly half the yards but nine passing touchdowns, or do I go with Tune? Both were great options, but I chose Tune because I think he is the better pro prospect. Scouts have been sniffing around Tune for some time now. He's 6'3" and 220 pounds with a cannon for an arm. That's how NFL front office people build their own quarterbacks on Madden.

Honorable mention:  Austin Reed, Western Kentucky; Austin Aune, North Texas

Fantasy Football Dynasty Watch: Running Backs

La'Damian Webb, South Alabama (35 carries, 247 yards, 4TD at Georgia Southern)

Just because Webb is at a small school doesn't mean he's small on talent. He was Mr. Alabama in football back in 2018 and was headed to Mississippi State before heading to junior college. Then Webb wound up at Florida State and was leading the Seminoles in rushing when he opted out due to the pandemic. Now he's running over the Fun Belt.

Webb is only 5'8", but he's thick and hard to bring down. He would be mostly a change-of-pace back in today's NFL, but he is showing that he can carry a heavy load in Mobile. Will the pros take notice?

Fantasy Football Dynasty Watch: Wide Receivers

Nathaniel Dell, Houston (13 receptions, 180 yards, 2TD at SMU)

Well, someone had to catch the heat that Tune was throwing. Dell has already been on NFL radars for a while thanks to his ability to make hard catches look easy. Dell has already scored as many touchdowns as he did in his breakout junior year last year (12) and is only getting better. He projects as a slot receiver in the NFL since he doesn't have the size to tangle with corners, but he can break a game open at any time.

Honorable mention: Tyrone Howell, Louisiana-Monroe; Puka Nacua, BYU

Fantasy Football Dynasty Watch: Tight Ends

Benjamin Yurosek, Stanford (8 receptions, 90 yards, vs. Washington State)

The Cardinal have injuries across the board to their receivers, so Yurosek got to show off a little. He makes the tough catches but is more of a Dawson Knox type than Kyle Pitts. Yurosek has the size and blocking ability to go with plus hands, so he translates well to the NFL. He won't be a focal point of an offense, but if he lands on a team with an inexperienced quarterback, Yurosek could put up good fantasy numbers.
