There are plenty of polls for NCAA College Basketball Rankings - the Associated Press, ESPN, USA Today, to name a few. But none look at the top college basketball teams in the land from the perspective of the fantasy hoops player.

So which CBB teams rate in the Top 10, according to fantasy metrics? Each week, we'll be bringing you our top 10 NCAA college basketball teams in the nation.

Below are our CBB rankings for the week of February 1, 2016 (won-loss records are as of the time of this writing).

NCAA College Basketball (CBB) Rankings

1. Oklahoma, 18-2

The Sooners had a close call at LSU last week, but followed it up with a big win over Big 12 rivals Texas Tech. More importantly, they keep filling the bucket: Oklahoma now tops all Power Five schools in scoring, averaging 85.4 points per game.

2. Kansas, 17-4

I refuse to punish the Jayhawks for a loss at Iowa State last week. Call me stubborn, but here's my rationale: They followed up that loss with a 90-84 win against a Kentucky team loaded with future NBA draft picks. As a team, Bill Self's boys are shooting 48.5 percent from the field (20th in the country).

3. North Carolina, 19-3

I didn't punish the Jayhawks for a tough road loss, so I won't punish the Tar Heels either for taking the "L" at Louisville, a tough place to play. There's a lot to like about Roy William's bunch, but they earn particularly high marks for ball security: They currently rank second in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.71).

4. Villanova, 18-3

The Wildcats aren't pretty, but they are really stingy on the defensive end. Take a word of advice: Don't expect big-scoring games against 'Nova. Teams shoot a paltry 38.1 percent against the Big East leaders.

5. Maryland, 19-3

I jumped on the Terp bandwagon a bit late, but I'll go along for the ride anyway. The Big Ten leaders are another hot-shooting team. They rank ninth in the country in field goal shooting percentage (49.7 percent).

6. Xavier, 19-2

The Musketeers are another Big East team that plays with more guts than glamor. They are also willing to take one (or more) for the team: Big X goes to the free-throw line more than any other Big East team (26.1 times per game, on average).

7.Texas A&M, 18-3

Maybe I'm guilty of overrating the SEC here, but I like the fact the Aggies bounced back from a tough loss at Arkansas to beat a really good Iowa State team. Alex Caruso is a ball hawk: He is among the leaders nationally in steals (2.14 per game).

8. Providence, 18-4

Ed Cooley's crew rebounded from a tough loss against Xavier with a slugfest of a road win at Georgetown. Kris Dunn is eighth in the country in assists per game (6.9) and teammate Ben Bentil is in the Top 25 in scoring (20.3 points per game). That's a nice one-two punch.

9. Virginia, 17-4

Yes, Virginia, you can make the RotoBaller Top 10. Not that the 'Hoovs need any more ink. Senior forward Anthony Gill is an outstanding shooter (60.4 percent from the field overall).

10. Iowa State, 16-5

I know. The Big 12 and I need to get a room. But how can you not like the Cyclones? Junior guard Monte Morris is right there with Dunn in assists (6.9 per game) and teammate Georges Niang can score it.
