Welcome back to the waiver wire! Need to bolster your flailing team? We've got you covered. Maybe. We'll see.

These recommendations are mainly for 9-cat leagues, but if you play in another format, there's a good chance that the information here can still help you. We'll be looking at centers, forwards, and guards whose low rostership and upside make them ideal players to get onto your fantasy team.

Our staff at RotoBaller has great insight and daily columns on how to improve your squad and tips to make your team successful, so be sure to check them out! Now, let's get prepared for Week 17.

9-Category Leagues - Waiver Wire Adds

This column is written based on H2H 9-category standard size leagues. All players in this article are rostered at around 50 percent or less.

Davion Mitchell, PG/SG - Sacramento Kings

49% rostered

Five games in a row with 15 or more points for Mitchell, with at least five assists in four of those. De'Aaron Fox (ankle) is still out and I really don't know how the trade deadline is going to shake this team up, so Mitchell is worth adding if you're in the 51% of leagues where he's still available. Worst case, he gives you points and assists until Fox is back. Best case, he gives you points and assists for the rest of the season.

Chuma Okeke, PF - Orlando Magic

46% rostered

While I do hate the fact that Okeke only has eligibility at one spot and that he struggled big-time against Memphis on Saturday, he's still someone who can give you really good steal and block numbers, if that's something you're in need of down the stretch of the season.

Grayson Allen, SG/SF - Milwaukee Bucks

31% rostered

Allen is in the Bucks starting five right now, and he put up 10 points, six rebounds, six assists and one steal against the Wizards. With so many weapons in Milwaukee, Allen will have plenty of room to fire away some threes and sneakily stuff the stat sheet.

Reggie Bullock, SG/SF - Dallas Mavericks

29% rostered

Bullock has scored 20 or more points in three of the last four games. He's made 22 three-pointers over the last five games. He can get you steals. He gives you solid rebounding numbers for someone with SG eligibility. He might hurt you a bit in efficiency, but with Tim Hardaway Jr. done for the year, the volume will be there going forward for Bullock.

Darius Bazley, SF/PF - Oklahoma City Thunder

29% rostered

While Bazley struggled with his shot on Friday, he did score double-digit points in three of the last four games and has pulled down double-digit rebounds in the last two games. With Bazley now in the starting lineup with Aaron Wiggins (ankle) sidelined, expect to see a good number of double-doubles from him.

Terry Taylor, SG/SF - Indiana Pacers

26% rostered

Taylor is listed as a SG/SF, but the Pacers don't have bigs right now, so they've been playing Taylor at that spot. It's been effective, as he had 24 points and 16 boards against the Magic and then 21 points, 14 rebounds and five assists against the Bulls. In theory, Taylor doesn't make sense. In practice, the depleted Pacers need someone who can give them serviceable minutes up front and he's somehow doing that. If you need rebounds from the guard position, there's pretty much no one on the wire who can give you what Taylor is right now. Is it sustainable? IDK.

Javonte Green, PG/SG/SF - Chicago Bulls

25% rostered

Positional versatility! Need blocks from someone with PG eligibility? Green has at least one in five consecutive games. Need efficiency? He's shot under 40% just once in the last seven games. He also has six steals in the last three games and while Green won't give you the three-pointers you probably want from a guard, he's still got a lot of ways he can help you.

Gary Harris, SG/SF - Orlando Magic

24% rostered

Six games in a row with 10 or more points for Harris, who has also made at least two threes in each of those games. He's not super exciting, but he'll provide you with some solid numbers if you need someone to fill a spot in your lineup.

Taurean Prince, SF/PF - Minnesota Timberwolves

12% rostered

We're picking up Tauren Prince in the year 2022??? Yep. We are. Because he just posted consecutive 23-point outings, and he's pulled down five or more rebounds in four consecutive games. He's also providing solid steal numbers, plus he's drained 11 threes over the past two games. As long as D'Angelo Russell is out, Prince has some decent value.

Damian Jones, C - Sacramento Kings

9% rostered

Jones came out of nowhere to put up 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks against the Nets, then 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and two blocks against the Warriors. Marvin Bagley III (ankle) is currently out, providing more minutes for Jones. As long as that continues, Jones is worth putting in your lineup in deep leagues.
