Fantasy Basketball Risers and Fallers: Week 25

This is it -- the final full week of the NBA season is upon us, which means this will be the final week of your fantasy season. How are you doing? Is it going well? Do you regret that you're still playing as rotations become harder to predict?

Let's get into here with the final installment of this year's risers and fallers column. What players can help you this week? Which ones should you avoid? I'm talking less about each guy this week so that I can give you more names in the risers section to account for all the various needs you might have.

Here are some potential risers and fallers heading into Week 25 of the NBA season.

Risers for Week 25

RISER: Josh Jackson (F, PHO)

We're reached the point where the Suns don't really have much to throw out there, so they're letting Jackson and Troy Daniels take a lot of shots. Jackson has some holes in his game -- namely his struggles from beyond the three point line -- but he's been putting up point totals in the high teens or better lately and can give owners a good amount of rebounds as well.

RISER: Troy Daniels (G, PHO)

Let's stay with the Suns. Troy Daniels has taken at least eight three point shots in five straight games and has made at least half of them in four of those outings. Daniels outside shot has been on point and he's going to continue jacking those shots up as the season winds down.

RISER: Gerald Green (F, HOU)

Houston IS the top seed in the West. James Harden, Chris Paul, Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza...all of these guys are candidates to get some rest over the final week and a half of the year. That would put a larger share of the team's offensive load on Green, who can make a ton of shots from deep if given the opportunity.

RISER: Joe Ingles (F, UTA)

Ingles has two points/assists double-doubles in his last five games. He has five rebounds or more in six of his last seven. He's a capable contributor across a range of categories.

RISER: Paul Millsap (F, DEN)

After missing a big chunk of the year, Millsap is back and is shouldering a good chunk of the scoring in Denver. He had 36 points and nine rebounds on Friday. He's got a decent chance of getting you steals at a position where you don't always expect steals. He's shot 50 percent or better in four of his last five games.

RISER: Ersan Ilyasova (F, PHI)

I don't have too much confidence in this pick, but in the 76ers first post-Embiid game, Ilyasova played 30 minutes and scored 21 points to go along with 16 rebounds. Will that keep up? I don't know, but someone's got to put up numbers in Embiid's place.

RISER: Ben Simmons (G/F, PHI)

Speaking of the 76ers, Simmons has hit the 10 assist mark in five straight games. He has two double-doubles over that stretch. He can't hit threes, but he also won't be taking threes, which means that won't really hurt your field goal percentage.

RISER: Paul George (F, OKC)

Here's your current I need steals guy. PG13 has seven steals in the last two games. (Although, you're playing George in your lineup no matter what, so this riser is really more geared toward DFS players or something.)

RISER: Quinn Cook (G, GSW)

Need three?s Cook has hit five threes in three outings over Golden State's last seven games. He'll be the starting point guard for the Curry-less Warriors for the rest of the regular season.

Fallers for Week 25

FALLER: Any Star Player On A Team Whose Playoff Seed Is Locked

Houston. Toronto. Golden State. I don't want to rely on their top players at this point in the year as the teams move into rest mode.

FALLER: Marc Gasol (C, MEM)

Gasol had 28 points on Friday and then didn't play in the fourth quarter. T-A-N-K-I-N-G. Don't be fooled by his strong night -- Memphis will limit his minutes if they think he puts them in a position to win games. That's not someone I want to trust this week.
