Welcome, RotoBallers, to my catchers' fantasy baseball waiver wire pickups for Week 27 of the 2024 MLB season. This week, we'll examine catchers such as Miguel Amaya, Gabriel Moreno, and Alejandro Kirk.
These catchers have been hitting the ball well lately and are great pickups as we look ahead to next week. Let's dive in and discuss why fantasy managers should pick up Amaya, Moreno, and Kirk this weekend.
All three catchers are rostered in under 40% of Yahoo! leagues. If you have any waiver-wire questions about the catcher position, don't hesitate to contact me on X (@winesportstalk).

Fantasy Baseball Catcher Waiver Wire Adds
Miguel Amaya, Chicago Cubs (13% Rostered)
Amaya has been one of the top catchers in the last 30 days, and the Cubbies face four right-handed pitchers next week. The righty catcher has reverse splits versus righties, and in the 30 days against those pitchers, he is slashing .317/.378/.512 with a .890 OPS.
Throw in a homer and 12 RBI, and you've got a catcher with several chances to make an impact next week.

Gabriel Moreno, Arizona Diamondbacks (35% Rostered)
Gabriel went two for five and an RBI in the DBacks' 9-4 win on Wednesday over the Rockies. Since being activated, Moreno is batting .400, with two hits and two runs scored over two games.
The right-handed catcher will face five righties next week, but his splits aren't too bad, slashing .254/.350/.378 versus RHPs, with four homers and 24 RBI.
