FanPicks Quarterbacks - Week 5 DFS Picks

Matt Ryan - at PIT ($6,400)

FanPicks generally has a few mispriced players, and this week is no different. Ryan struggled in the first week, but he's averaging 35.7 fantasy points per game over his last three games. He gets an elite matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a game that is set at 58 points this week. Ryan is entirely too cheap for how well he has been playing, and he can safely be used in all leagues.

FanPicks Running Backs - Week 5 DFS Picks

Melvin Gordon - vs OAK ($6,500)

Gordon is one of the safest options on the slate, but he still comes with a low price tag. He has scored 30+ fantasy points in three of his four games this season, and he now gets a matchup against the Oakland Raiders, who feature one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. Gordon is also averaging 8.5 targets per game this season, while ranking in the top-five of the NFL in red zone targets. He's an easy plug-and-play for his price this week.

TJ Yeldon - at KC ($4,900)

Yeldon is likely to draw the start with Leonard Fournette out this week. He has enjoyed a solid season, as he's averaging 15.8 fantasy points per game this season, even though he has played behind Fournette at times. Yeldon also gets an elite matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have featured one of the worst defenses in the NFL this season. Yeldon is a safe salary relief option that also comes with a high upside.

FanPicks Wide Receivers - Week 5 DFS Picks

Juju Smith-Schuster - vs ATL ($6,200)

Smith-Schuster has been one of the best fantasy options in the NFL this season, as he's averaging a 7.8/104.0/0.3 line on 12.3 targets per game. He gets an elite matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, who have struggled against slot receivers this season. Smith-Schuster isn't the lead receiver for the Steelers, but he has seen more than enough of a target share to dominate. He should be one of the highest priced receivers on the slate, making him a value at this price.

Tyler Boyd - vs MIA ($4,500)

Boyd is arguably the most mispriced player on the slate. Over his last three games, he's averaging 24.6 fantasy points per game. Miami has struggled against the slot at times, and Cincinnati could feature Boyd in their offense once again with A.J. Green getting a tough matchup. Boyd is an extremely safe option, who can also be used in tournaments this weekend.

FanPicks Tight End - Week 5 DFS Pick

Vance McDonald - vs ATL ($3,500)

McDonald has only played in two games this season, but he has totaled nine receptions for 174 yards and one touchdown on 10 targets. He's clearly a major factor when he's on the field, and he's fully healthy for this game. McDonald's price tag is a bit too cheap for a game that is expected to feature the most amount of points on the slate. He's an elite salary relief option.

FanPicks Defense - Week 5 DFS Pick

Tennessee Titans - at BUF ($3,100)

The Titans defense has performed well this season, as they are averaging 10.5 fantasy points per game. They have also held their opponents to only 18.3 points per game this season. They get an elite matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who have struggled in three of four games this season. The Bills feature the lowest implied total on the slate at 17.8 points, and Tennessee features a defense that can safely be used in all leagues this week.
