It is the week of the RBC Heritage and as we always do in this FanDuel DFS piece, we are going to use Research Station table available to Premium subscribers of all levels to determine who has the best course history and recent form entering the week. Join the RotoBaller squad today for access to this and a whole lot more tools, articles, and discord access.
In this article, we'll discuss some of the standout PGA DFS plays available on FanDuel. While it's impossible to hit on every player, we'll touch on some different plays across all price ranges, breaking the groups down into "High," "Mid," and "Low" price options that are worth considering.
Like always, the purpose of this piece is to help you put together your optimal daily fantasy golf lineups for FanDuel, whether that be from a GPP perspective or a cash-game mentality. Be sure to also read all of our other top-notch weekly PGA DFS and betting articles to help you win big!
FanDuel Strategy Nuances (PGA DFS)
Before we dive into the FanDuel plays for this week, we are going to be comparing the prices of golfers on the FD slate to that of the DraftKings slate in order to figure out some value for the respective golfers. We get an extra $10,000 ($60,000 salary limit in FanDuel) to spend on the same six guys, so there is an opportunity to build some really optimal lineups if we find the right guys. The average increase per player should be $1,666.67 ($10,000/6).
We have tons of great weekly PGA articles, DFS analysis, tools, and DFS advice. Be sure to read our other fantastic articles regarding this week's event, including DFS lineup picks for DraftKings/FanDuel, betting advice, DFS prop picks, and course previews.
Below is the difference in salary between the two DFS platforms using the downloadable research station that is part of our affordable Premium Package. It has event history, recent form, DFS scoring upside, and a whole lot more nerdy stuff.
High-Priced FanDuel DFS Plays
Patrick Cantlay ($11,500, $1,200 difference)
Patrick Cantlay is second in the field in ball striking over the last 24 rounds and boasts the best course history in the field. Finishes of 2nd, MC, 3rd, 7th, and 3rd are more than enough to place Cantlay in our player pool at a golf course that has shown many golfers to play repeatedly well here in the past. Cantlay's all around game suits Harbour Town to a tee and he should be in contention come Sunday again.
Cameron Young ($10,800, $1,200 difference)
With only one outing around Harbour Town in his short PGA Tour career, Cam Young managed a 3rd place finish. He just finished 7th at the Masters despite the rain and in this calendar year he leads the field in proximity from 150-200 yards, which will see about half of the iron shots this week. His putter that was broken a few weeks ago, is now gaining him strokes regularly and things could not be looking more promising for Mr. Young.

Mid-Priced FanDuel DFS Plays
Mid-priced salary differences. Notice how much more red we see in that difference column in this range versus the high-priced range. Bear that in mind when deciding which players to play on either platform.
Tommy Fleetwood ($9,700, $1,600 increase)
With a 10th and a 25th sandwiching a missed cut in his three appearances at Harbour Town, Tommy Fleetwood will look to lean on his field-best around the green game, while continuing to strike his irons above average over the last 24 rounds. His scrappy style of play will suit a course like this with green in regulation rates much lower than tour average.
Wyndham Clark ($8,700, $1,100)
Relative to his DK price, Wyndham Clark sees one of the smaller salary bumps on the FanDuel slate. He may not have the best course history here, but he is currently striking his irons at an elite level which will come in extremely handy on these tough-to-hit greens. He has been playing fantastic golf this season, with a 5th and three additional to-40 finishes in his last four starts.
Webb Simpson ($9,100, $1,700 increase)
Webb Simpson has fantastic course history around Harbour Town, winning in 2020 and recording four additional top-20 finishes before injury plagued him in 2022. He finished 7th at the Valspar, gaining across the board in all four strokes gained categories. He has also now gained in 8-straight rounds with the putter, which was once a weapon before letting him down over the last while. He may be returning to form and at a golf course like this, we would rather be early than late.
Low-Priced FanDuel DFS Players
The below golfers are all candidates to round out your player pool based on their track record at Pebble Beach.
Lucas Glover ($7,600, $1,000 increase)
For somebody this price, we are okay with four of his last six RBC Heritage starts being 33rd or better. Glover has also made his last three cuts and will not provide much upside, but his cut-making ability in at this salary is something we are looking for.
Doug Ghim ($7,300, $800 increase)
In two appearances here, Doug Ghim has two top-40 finishes and comes in just north of min price. He made the cut at the Valero Championship, which is another plodder-like course. He is cheap and can make the cut for us if history around Harbour Town repeats itself.
Andrew Landry ($7,000, $1,000 increase)
For somebody who not a lot of people even know plays on the Tour, Andrew Landry has somehow managed to finish 33rd three times in a row around this South Carolina track. Prior to that, he had another made cut in 2018 and if he can repeat the kind of golf he played at the Valspar Championship, all we need from a min price golfer is another 33rd place finish for our other five golfers in our lineups to have immense upside.
